No analysis for me this weekend, hopefully after NFP next week na to start analysis. abham: Good evening, happy weekend to you all.
Prev week played out with the bullish anticipation as price blew through August monthly candle open. Again price did not go lower for a cheaper entry but turned after clearing h4 bsl it dropped to hit PWH and expanded higher for the weekly range.
AU analysis:
WK: Weekly closed bullish and my new target on the wkly will be the close of 10/07/23 weekly candle.
D1: On the daily, Friday's low traded to the high of Wednesday down candle high (IRB). Q2 and Q3 BSL are likely targets.
H4: Looking at H4, down candles should be supporting price higher because it has aligned with Wk and D1 bullish order flow.
COT report, comm are net long and the hedging program shows that comm are below the equilibrium line within the last 12 months. Also we can see the weekly and daily is bullish, we follow Institutional Order Flow.
Barchart are showing a strong buy signal. This is not a trade advice, just my thought process.

Prev week played out with the bullish anticipation though price did not go lower for a cheaper entry.
AU analysis:
WK: Weekly closed bullish and above the opening price of the previous week so we want to see down candles supporting price.
D1: On the daily, price has broken out of it's bullish range while taking out PWH(ERL), price will likely seek IRL. Looking at 07/12/23 high nested in a daily bullish gap for price to likely turn from there.
H4: Looking at H4, Price has printed series of flat high which may be blown out before dropping.
COT report, comm are net long and the hedging program shows that comm are below the equilibrium line within the last 12 months. Also we can see the weekly and daily is bullish, we follow Institutional Order Flow.
My target is the open of August monthly candle.

Journal your trades. congratulations BeginnerTrader: I feel like to share my little progress today, to whom much is given much is expected. I appreciate each and every one us who one way or the other has contributed massively to the progression of the thread. I bumped into this wonderful community January this yr , due to tedious nature of my work (Waiter ) I hardly participate to chip my inputs but I do well to read every page whenever I have free time at my work place. I got to know about trading competitions here which I have participated and failed many times ,but things turned around 3rd quarter of this year when I hit 40% on tft competition, I received the challenge account and passed the evaluation stages and got a payout laskweek. My current job pays me 30k as monthly salary, but I got a payout of $601k . It leaves me sober and emotional ,after 2yrs of working as a waiter I can't boast of 100k in my account but 10days of trading got me 700k. Lest I forget I got a mail this morning from alphacapital that my live funded account will be ready this week after passing the giveaway account. Glory be to God. Thanks all the bosses in the house, still remain BeginnerTrade.✌️ |

Prev week I was not active here.
AU analysis:
WK: Weekly closed bearish while price rejected off a weekly bullish gap between previous month's second and third week high and low respectively. Ideally, weekly is bullish and PMH is where price will likely draw to.
D1: On the daily, price is in the discount of a bearish dealing range and may likely go down to blow out the low taking out PWL like I stated in my quoted reply to Davigle post.
H4: Looking at H4, Price has already aligned bullish after hitting the weekly level. This might just cause price to rally.
Take note, there has been a bullish quarterly shift in October.
COT report, comm are net long and the hedging program shows that comm are below the equilibrium line for the past 12 months and we can also see like it was stated above that the daily is in a bearish DR but H4 has aligned bullish with the weekly.
Barchart are showing a 56% buy signal.
I was able to secure a 5k alpha capital account too. I read a comment of someone here, I can't remember, saying he/she is going to wait till being consistently profitable before getting a prop firm which is excellent. While that is good, don't you think it's best to take advantage of this opportunity so you get to have a feel of trading a prop firm and those guys buying EurAud this week, c'mon, I really want to know your rational for doing that when EG was clearly a down trend on the weekly.

Good day Davigle, I noticed on the weekly tf, AU dropped into the bullish gap I talked about on my analysis post but Nzdusd did not, that is a sign of accumulation on NU. On H4, AU printed a HL within the H4 DR while NU printed a LL with the flat lows likely to be taken out while dropping into the weekly gap. I will attach photos. Davigle: Cc: abham, kozmicity I think AU may play out accordingly, the only thing left is confirmation from CPI tomorrow. A weaker CPI should send AU soaring as well as EU and GU, while a stronger CPI will send the dollar soaring thereby dabaruing my analysis... Which ever it is I would wait for CPI to come out and then act accordingly...

On the daily, we are seeing bullish momentum, though the cpi rally printed a huge bullish gap which might be traded into again during the week. Jus a theory I'm adding, if Monday does not take out Friday's high nor low, we might see Friday low taken out within the week.

The way you are doing it best suits your personality but I will just add this: -Where is the current range -Where is price coming from -where is price now and lastly -Where is price likely going to. I use this template to backtest and you can also incorporate the weekly calendar to it too, I will do this when I finish my current backtest log. LincolnOnyeabor: Shout out to all the bosses here.
