Will update u on how it turns out base on the fact that it is my first analysis here
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham: 9:23pm On Sep 25, 2022
Firstly it’s not just grammar, secondly this your analysis does not make the entry I quoted initially to be valid as it invalidates it.

Lanshile:
All this grammar on top trading
That's no weekly ob but let's wait and see
That point I marked is a point of reaction
For price to either change bias to a buy or continue to sell that zone has all the information a trader needs
If u look at the last candle that closed forming a Bearish wick rejection
Price missed the point where it should reject with 2 pips
Boss this is where the manipulation comes in
If their is high impact news they know that where the price missed with 2 pips some buyers will still put their limit there so they push it downward to take sl Then make it close where it missed with 2 pips
At market open
Observe this things
1 price may cover up for the 2 pips then create a bullish candle to validate the point
2 price Push further down to where I marked earlier then bounce from there to mark the beginning of bulls coming in
If I speak, someone go say na Grammer so make I just give you hint. Check how to use barchart[.]com to predict price, thank you and God bless.

Brah did you check his entry point before you made this post, the trade would have hit s/l by this your analysis.

Besides, you must be the banks to know price will reverse from the weekly OB mean threshold. But anything can happen.

I really want to know your thought process for taking a buy. AU is
1) heavily bearish
2) at least 80% of the range of which any bullish move is a sell retracement entry and
3) maybe you dey trade counter trend. Well the trend is not your friend. wink

The question no difficult, it’s one of the basics in trading which is essential. Leverage is more like how much your profit or loss would be if you make use of a standard lot as it also applies to your micro lot too.

The profit/loss for 1:50 would not be the same for 1:200 leverage.

I hope this helps: https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/06/forexleverage.asp

BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham:
Good evening, if you have a profitable system, there might be no need to try out ICT concepts but the risk reward is well, I’ll say 65% so I do not get your hopes high but once you back test, you’ll know the better average.

Secondly, the news is just a catalyst to drive price to P/D arrays so no, his concepts does not rely on fundamentals but elements such as WAR, Election, Global epidemic can distort the markets

How have you been, I barely see you posts here recently.
.
Englishisamust:
I want to ask you some question on ict because I have a strategy that is profitable before I'm just looking whether I can add more to it by learning ict

1. What is Ict average risk to reward and winrate?
2. Does he use fundamentals?
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham: 11:46am On Jul 23, 2022
Tsk, this is the umpteenth time I’m acknowledging that other concepts are profitable too.‍♂️

charly20:
Of course, I implement ICT but guess what? I never really went through most of his videos just basic knowledge and serious chart time. My trading system is simply market structure (yes, the usual HHs and LLs) after having tried several other trading styles in my starting months.

What I'm saying is, there are a lot more traders (even here, I'm sure) who do not implement ICT's concepts but other trading styles and they are very profitable.

I do not patronize the idea of imposing my own preference(s) upon another person simply because it is what is most convenient for me. I can float a reasonable portion of my profit but i won't tell another person to do same because I can manage the downsides of that decision but the person may not.

All in all, what I'm saying is explore and find what you're comfortable with. The market is for us all.

Thanks.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham: 9:59am On Jul 23, 2022
Well, I stated earlier that other concepts make returns but ICT concepts are PRECISE . Talking about the psychological aspect of trading, that was covered in the W.E.N.T series I mentioned earlier but experience will also weigh in no doubt but saying a new trader should not start with ICT concepts, c’mon.

Tbh, baby pips material is just prepping new traders for liquidity as a new sucker is born every minute, not that the stuffs there don’t work but that’s how I see it.

I know some may come and say show us your history on Fxblue and stuff, grin I’m barely consistent but for someone just a year here and with the improvements I’ve made, that’s ok. Besides I started taking ICT concepts in February.

Charly you implement ICT concepts the most here, you give us the testimony.

charly20:
Actually, I think everyone should have the option to explore. In my opinion, EVERY strategy works (trust me, i have checked).

Falcon,Wyckoff,Supply and demand, breakout trading, VSA, name them. They all work.

What every new trader will eventually have to work on is how to manage the greed, fear, frustration, anger, all the emotions that come with trading. And this is what takes time.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham: 7:34am On Jul 23, 2022
With all due respect, this is not correct!

Starting ICT’s concept is the best thing that will happen to every new trader. Initially when I started learning forex, that was the same mentality people on NL gave me that his concept is mostly for big banks and stuffs.

It might be difficult to grasp at first, I agree, even now I’m still struggling with entries though my bias has improved to like 75%. You don’t just get the concept of learning a new language once you start learning it so give yourself time. It might take months or years but the precision when using ICT concept(s) is next to none.

I won’t mention names of some traders here that use those concepts but you can see their accuracy on trade calls here before the market moves. I’m not saying other concepts don’t make money but hey, wouldn’t you want precision in your trading?

Also ICT concepts are not for lazy traders because you have to go into the charts and do your back testing and go through the forward testing phase, you might want to give up when you don’t see results. Either way you’re making progress but it’s normal, the frustration will always set in. Besides, wouldn’t you want to learn from someone who has almost 3 decades of experience in the markets?

Even some of the concepts you might come across in learning for example smart money, he the grand daddy.

Thathinka, WHAT WOULD YOU REALLY WANT AS A NEW TRADER?

karkinase:
Don’t start your forex journey with ICT.. you gon hate urself. ICT concept is for experienced hands.. start off watching random videos on YouTube about forex candlestick, supply/demand money management timeframe, currency pairs. practice and you can then decide to give ICT a try.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham: 10:57pm On Jul 22, 2022
Good evening.

In learning ICT concepts, you start with Market Maker, W.E.N.T, Scout sniper and Trading plan series.

All these are on the play list of the channel. I must warn you, some videos are 2 hours long, he talks slow, he talks about his experience as a trader which makes him digress but there are nuggets there and you must get a journal to write down stuffs while seeing each video.

It might look confusing and boring at first but after watching, go through your chart and look for those things he talked about and go over the video again and it will look like a light bulb, ordibest Sam. smiley

BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham: 6:07am On Jul 17, 2022
Good morning, with the bolded, We the association of demo traders are not seeking your validation to take us serious. Everyone’s learning curve is not the same, you getting to know your edge or bread and butter setups early does not mean that people trading demo no serious.

It’s good you’re trading a prop firm account and an instrument that is trending, good for you and ordibest. At the moment most currency pairs are a mess take Gold asset for example even if it’s not a currency but we all know the volatility makes everyone want to trade it. Then imagine a new person learning in that environment having to deal with manipulation. huh

I guess u started with demo too at some point of your career so just chill and enjoy your winnings rather than seeking validation from demo traders saying you don’t take them serious. Even traders here that have excellent track still trade demo.

By the way, you back test and feel everything is so easy but once in love market conditions, it’s a different ball game.

Galleryeasy:
No room for Fear in this industry bro, if you have back tested your strategy very well, then get the music rocking wink. I don't take someone who is demo trading seriously, you need to get burnt to kill emotions, just get the 5k account if you have the money, or go for cent account. This is the 3rd challenge I'm about to pass this yr.never failed a challenge, to keep the live account is the Koko. As for the Beast US30, that's my favorite, very easy to read.

BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham: 9:39am On Jul 08, 2022
Ok, I’ll keep this in mind.

charly20:
BOS = Break of structure.
CHOCH= Change of character.

Change of character is transition from bullish market to bearish market and vice versa.

Break of structure is violation of already established lows or highs in that market (bullish or bearish).

Change of character indicates start of a new trend (bearish or bullish) and BOS indicates trend continuation.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 22 by abham: 10:25pm On Jul 07, 2022
Hi good evening. I’ve been observing it for a while and I was expecting the SL at the top to be taken for a reversal down. Your analysis is same as mine but I’ll be excited to see how it plays out tomorrow.
wink

At the moment, Nasdaq is the strongest of the three indices and divergence is a powerful confluence in trading indices.

Modified: In your previous chart markup, what is the difference between
1) BOS and ChoC and
2) When do they apply
3) What parameters do you look out for in their application.

I think I might have asked this before but just refresh my memory, thanks.

charly20:
Price study (3)

Using one index as the frame work for other indices, this is what i hope tomorrow yields. And of course, it's a mental trade for me. My target is below "(a)"

If this trade is true, it may solidify my conviction that us100 is repeating it's immediate macro sell model.
