You have 2 options: either you update via SMART SWITCH on PC, it's an app by SAMSUNG, or you flash the firmware manually using ODIN, also on PC, you can always download the firmware from SAMMOBILE, ensure your files are backed up before flashing the new firmware, and follow the procedure to the tea. Check XDA-DEVELOPERS and search for a thread on your phone. Make sure the firmware you're downloading is for your American SAMSUNG and not Europe or any other region. That's my 2 cents.

It's a lump sum paid yearly which comprises of Housing allowance, health and some other allowances, it's not d same with dat of d 28 days allowances, d latter is paid just once while d former is paid yearly.

Upfront is a percentage/fraction of a staff salary paid at the begining of the year. It is actually unearned as at the time it's paid.
For example: if a staff salary is supposed to be 340,000 Monthly without upfront. The organization can decide to pay upfront of 1,200,000 to that staff at the begining of the year and this will reduce the monthly salary to 240,000 throughout the year as the balance has been enjoyed earlier. This is to say, a fraction of the monthly salary is gathered and paid up front to the staff.
Some people said it's an allowance but i think it's actually a fraction of the supposed monthly net pay, that is why a staff of a bank who received upfront in January and decides to resign anytime before the year end will be asked to refund the balance for the remaining months to the year end.
I dunno if NDIC and other MDA's ask for refund in the same event of resignation before year end.

@Bigjukkk0 Well I learnt NDIC yearly upfront for level 8 (entry level) is close to 4m while monthly salary and allowances (close to 300k) whereas I learnt CBN upfront is abt 2m, you can confirm though.

Most times new recruited ministry civil servants are not paid monthly for the first 3 months but in bulk at the end of the 3rd month before salary resumes monthly... it's custom in federal and even state ministries...

Conhess 7, expect take home of about 85k. Will surely go up in January when hazard allowances of all hospital workers increase.

Bro, workers under health are paid better than other ministries. Salary scale used in hospitals is conhess except for doctors that use CONMESS.
Salary will even rise by January because FG is increasing the hazard allowance of all hospital workers next year.

Salary scale for conhess is slightly higher. Entry level for non clinical staff on conhess 7 step2 is almost 87k after all deductions.

That's for health professional, non health is CONPSS 62K

You do practically nothing there... just make sure you are seen 2 or 3 times in a week and collect your free salary... you will have time for other business
