other avenues will open. Do you continue to do business with a coup held country? So don't blame Nigeria. |
Which country is this? |
Againstallodds:Envoys from UN/AU/ECOWAS have been sent but the coupist wouldn't meet them. They wouldn't even discus with Gen. Abdusalm and the Sultan of Sokoto. What else should be done in your opinion? |
BRICS What is the BRICS? BRICS is an acronym that started as BRIC in 2001, coined by Jim O’Neill (a Goldman Sachs economist) for Brazil, China, India, and Russia. Later in 2010, South Africa was added to become BRICS. Goldman Sachs claimed that the global economy will be dominated by the four BRIC economies by 2050. The main reason for such a claim was that China, India, Brazil, Russia, and South Africa were ranked among the world's fastest-growing and emerging market economies for years. The main comparative advantage of this group is their low labour costs, favourable demographics, and abundant natural resources at the time of the global commodities boom. The Goldman Sachs thesis didn’t claim that BRICS would become a political alliance or even a formal trading association. However, the report said that BRICS has the potential to form a powerful economic bloc. In 2013, BRICS accounted for around 27% of global GDP in purchasing power. The five countries have a total population of 2.88 billion, accounting for around 42 per cent of the entire global population. The countries in the BRICS bloc cover 26 per cent of the total land area on earth. Goldman Sachs’ BRIC Thesis: Early Development O'Neill of Goldman Sachs noted in 2001 that BRIC nations were expected to grow more quickly than the Group of Seven consisting of the seven most advanced global economies, including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the US, and Japan. In the “Building Better Economic BRICs” paper, O'Neill presented his views on the potential of BRIC nations. Later in 2003, Roopa Purushothaman and Dominic Wilson (O’Neill’s colleagues at Goldman Sachs) presented a report named “Dreaming with BRICs: The Path to 2050.” They both claimed that by 2050, BRIC will become more prominent than the G7, changing the look of the world's economies in four decades. https://m.economictimes.com/definition/brics/amp |
Better. That's the reasonable thing to do. Strong head no dey solve nothing. |
He will only go there and ASSURE Bazoum that he will be reinstated but nothing will happen. |
You never change AM for her before na why. Which nonsense is that now. If she cannot apologies to herself for being wrong make she get out. |
You are right. However majority of us have poisoned and corrupted ideas/views about relationships. |
Thank God for Democracy in Nigeria that has made it possible for the OP to call the president very unfriendly names. I wish he were a Nigerien. When Buhari shut Seme border what was the reason? Boko Haram, herdsmen ND bandits has terrorized the NE for a decade you guys did not complain like you are doing now. The north can be bedeviled with challenges no problem if the overall leader is a northern right. |
The atmosphere of the conversation done dey become sober. It was for the Good of Nigeria and Niger. When fight want pass your power turn to play. |
What if Na your girlfriend dey do am to you. |
tesppidd:This is a lie of the Universe |
kindlyheart:But Gambia is an ECOWAS member state and I am very sure their Nigerians there. Stop Double standards. |
Thermodynamics:Say it in Igbo because that is Yoruba before you claim it like you want to claim Ikwere people. |
Kobojunkie:If you believe in point 4 that you made, how do you now say that His prayers are not being answered because he is not righteous? Can you determine what is righteous you yourself? Was it by righteousness that God entered an eternal covenant with Abraham, David and His descendants. If righteousness was attainable by man Jesus wouldn't have had to come die for us. Like you said even ungrateful people and unbelievers get answers to thier prayers. Olosho dey pray God dey show mercy answer. |
just like other Nigeriens are alleged to support the military junta. Alot of Nigerians support Tinubu's so leave it be. E get election when den no dey rig for Nigeria? |
Dey play |
This your story too long ooo. |
Kobojunkie:Show me one righteous person. You think it's by your righteousness that God answered your prayers? Your righteousness is but a filthy rag in His presence, you think you can be righteous enough to warrant God answering your prayers. Thank God for Grace and Mercy that is given for free to those who believe His son. |
Thermodynamics:If my Parents named me George Bush doe it make me American? |
Ttipsy:You really forget that not all the votes that PO got was from the SE and was from Igbos |
kindlyheart:When he sent soldiers go the Gambia where were you? |
bender79:Yet Tinubu included a 400 level student to the Tax reform committee. T"here is no one more blind than he the chooses to not see" |
Ttipsy:Name another state lemme hear. You take one issue and generalize it. |
Sanctions Na play? They best way to fight any war is economic. Now Putin is looking to Africa and BRICS countries to rebuild the economy. Good Luck to Him. Was the war with Ukraine worth it. So maybe we should listen when he says ECOWAS should not invade Niger. He might be speaking from experience and the good of ECOWAS member state. |
There are basically two types of Greats in every endeavor, One that show others the way and the one that shows other what is achievable. In the last decade this Two names have constantly remained on our lips for their efforts in sports. One will not be able to choose one over the other, because what one sees and admires in one may even be better found in the other and vice versa. A lot of people think Ronaldo is a proud player and has received all the negatives, he is a product of hard work, dedication and consistency and smart work to. However not ever player is willing to sacrifice as much as he has to become what he has, you might not be able to keep up. He is not one that will open. Doors for you but will show you what is possible by first becoming it. Messi is a hard worker too, but has some unseen advantage on his side people like to call it being gifted like his DNA was wired for football. Messi will help any player grow and become their best. He is one to open doors of opportunity for other teammates. He can carry the slack of others. If you are going by trophy's you have a winner already. But you must look at this athlete in their totality (personality etc) To be able to say what's what. However I will lean towards Messi for personal reasons. |
Ngozi123:You and very few people. And we all know majority carries the day. I believe leaving behind sentimental feeling and advancing as one despite the odds is better than regressing and breaking into pieces. United we stand, divide and beside |
ExudeLoveToAll:Double standards on the basis of Ethnicity and religion. This is the same Kano that will burn the USA flag in the streets of Kano and wave the Palestinian flag. But I don't see Palestine bring in aid to them. You benefit from America through USAid, Visa lottery and other stuff mostly in the north. But that's the country they want to fight at first signs of provocation. The UAE has not and cannot do more than what America and the UK has and will continue to for Nigeria. They may have their problems no doubt. I do not support a war. Stick to sanction and push for dialogue. What is the Coup leader intention after he has taken power. He surely wasn't satisfied about something. If that said thing is fixed give the power back. Monarchy and Military rule are very similar. Ask the Koreans that were asked to forcefully change Thier names and keep similar hair cut with Kim Jung. |
MMWandali:If there is anything History has taught us about ourselves is that we cannot be pleased. Is this not the same people that Election Bazoum into power, that are now siding with coup plotters, give them time there eyes will open. Putin and Russia must have believed they are going back to the old ways of Mother Russia and the USSR, now the economy is falling to pieces. They should enjoy their coup while it last. Just leaves us sane Nigerians with our failing democracy at least speaking for my self. |
caracas:And if we go to a popular market in the SE who will you find doing the worst? |
If I change my name to Donald Trump does that make me American? Nonsense. |
