Now let get started, for you to register with NAFDAC, CAC and Trademark are important and make sure the two documents bear the same name. Also make sure your product is registered under the appropriate trademark class. I have found out that many products are usually registered under a class different from the product. I am trying to emphasize on this so that it won't cause delay during registration. You can view all the 45 trademark classes here: http://www.oppedahl.com/trademarks/tmclasses.htm

Thank you sir,
We are opening a pure water and bottled water latest December

I have gone through the NAFDAC Requirements, it seems to be much.
I'll appreciate it if you can mentor me to collate all these documents particularly the SOPs
Must we get all these approval before we can start production?
The stuff is really much, I'm confused right now.
Fast tracking is very key for me to get nafdac approval for my product
Pls help out sir
There is no problem with the collation of the documents. We will be taking it one step at a time. You may not get all, but at least 85%. No more fast track number for bread and water for now because it has been abused.

Thank you very much, please how do I go about the fast tract registration cos I want everything to be done fast

For the trademark registration do you mean all I need is an acknowledgment without waiting for approval for the Nafdac registration
To apply for the fast track registration: The following are require: Application letter, Certificate of Incorporation, Trademark (Acknowledgment and Acceptance), and Membership Certificate of Manufacturer Association of Nigeria (MAN). But if I may ask, do you want to obtain the fast track for bread? If it's so, then I am afraid to tell you that fast track number is no more available for bread and water. For Trademark, you need acknowledgment and acceptance.

Hello karbaka,
Pls I will appreciate it if u can send me the logistics and cost analysis of starting pure water and bottled water business. I already have a land property with water.
I plan starting this December
Which is more profitable sir, Sachet water or bottled water.
My email is ask4pejuonly@gmail.com
Thanks in anticipation
Bottled water is more profitable based on this calculation
CALCULATION ON SACHET WATER
1. 1kg of nylon N1200
2. 1kg produces 26-28 bags (take 26 for reference)
3. 77 kg produces 2000 bags
4. Cost of 77kg 93,400
5. Cost of packing bag N4.50 x 2000 N9000
6. A machine produces 110bags per hour x2
7. 2 Machines produces average of 2200 bags in 10hours
8. Cost of Labour to produce 2200 per 10hours 155,000 per month
26 = N6000 per day
9. Total cost of production material and labour, per day
= 77kg of printed nylon N92,400
2000 packing nylon N9000
Labour N6000

TOTAL COST OF PRODUCTION N107,400

A bag of water N120
2000 bags 120 x 2000 N240,000
Profit = 240,000 -107,400 N132,600

Unforeseen Expenses 10% of Total Profit N13, 260
i.e Electricity, Fueling & Transportation e.t.c
Net Profit = 119, 340

BOTTLE LINE
Full Auto 2000 cartons per day.
i. A preform cost N12.50
ii. 12 Preform N150 / carton
iii. A cap N2 cost N24 / carton
iv. Label N2 cost N24 / carton
v. Shrink nylon 1100/kg :- 20 N55 / carton
N 265.5/Carton
vi. Labour / day on Full Auto N3000

A machine produces:-
Full Auto 2000 cartons in 10hours

COST OF PRODUCTION AND LABOUR FOR FULL AUTO
Full Auto 265.5 X 2000 = N531000 + 3000= 534,000

PROFIT ON SALES
A carton is sold for N450
Full Auto N450 x 2000 cartons N900, 000 - 534,000 = 366,000

Check your mail for comprehensive cost analysis.

Hello, I have built a bakery about to start in Kaduna, I have a registered business name, I was at Nafdac for registration but one of thing they asked for was trademark registration, and that can only be gotten in Abuja can take long to process then bring it to Nafdac alongside other requirement.

My question is is there a way of by passing the trade mark registration since I have a registered business name? And what is the fastest way of getting Nafdac registration
There is no way you can by pass trademark as it is one of the mandatory requirements for getting NAFDAC number as stated in my write up. You can get NAFDAC registration within 3 weeks through fast track or 3 months through normal procedure of registration.

Jobs/VacanciesHow To Find Legitimate Work From Home Opportunities by abikun(op): 4:56am On Nov 22, 2013
The appeal of working from home is powerful. Parents and those caring for elderly family members at home treasure the flexibility. The rest of us love the idea of shaving minutes or hours of commute time off the workday and working in the comfort and privacy of our homes.
Proof of the appeal is in the numbers: Between 1997 and 2010, the number of Americans working from home, part time or full time, grew by 4.2 million. Now 13.4 million of us – out of 142 million U.S. workers – work from home.
Here are the tips:
1. Avoid buying job leads
If you’re looking for work you can do from home, you probably know it’s hard finding legitimate jobs. An entire industry of scammers and less-than-legitimate companies is poised to take your money and give nothing in return. But there are also good jobs out there and smart, safe ways to find them.
That brings us to Rule No. 1 for your job search: Avoid paying for job leads. You’re trying to make ............... continue reading at bestlegacy1..com
