DailyNews: This topic wants to encourage more women to cheat to justify gender-equality & women empowerment, which is totally wrong. No person is supposed to cheat, & the woman is supposed to control the man from cheating, its natural, not by talking or blabbing smiley e.
Why are you chatting sh[i]t? No one wants to encourage women to cheat. Points that are made against vivian aren't because we are trying to make cheating done by females an acceptable thing. Cheating shouldn't come into the gender equality argument. The right to vote, salaries, etc are valid gender equality arguments. Not cheating. No one wants to make cheating an equal rights between genders.

The point I'm making is that women shouldn't have a tolerable attitude towards their partner cheating. Males and females shouldn't cheat. End of.

And what in the name of fried chicken do you mean by women are supposed to control men from cheating? Do you expect a woman to know her partner's every move? A woman shouldn't have to worry about her man cheating on her, let alone take precautions in controlling him so that he can abstain from cheating.

A man or woman will cheat if they want to, and the more females see it fine for men to cheat, the more men will continue to cheat.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Sex Differences by abiL(f): 8:05pm On Oct 15, 2012
I understand some of what vivian has said, because in this society, it's more acceptable for men to cheat than women. Our society tolerates men who have multiple s[e]xual partners, whilst women gets criticised for merely going on multiple dates.

However, just because our society have patriarchal views that are more favourable to the male gender, that doesn't mean we as females should condone men that cheats.

Cheating is wrong on so many levels, and where I don't agree with vivian is that she sees it as okay for a man to cheat because she views most men as cheaters. What will happen if your man cheats on you? Would you give him a pat on the back and congratulate him because you see cheating as a trait of the masculine gender, like a man is born to cheat, or it's the duty of a man to cheat?

If a lot of women have the same attitude as you vivian, then we can forget about monogamous marriage and being faithful in a relationship.

We shouldn't be giving men liberty to cheat. Both males and females should not cheat. If you can't stay faithful in a relationship, then get your a[s]s out of that relationship.

TheBuilder: Nothing is truly wrong in spouses disclosing their incomes to each other but it must be done with wisdom. The materialistic tendencies of partners particularly women in this dispensation is a major threat to this idea. It worked well in those days when men and women were less materialistic, more contented, more God fearing and more complaint with marriage rules of engagement. Today, the most conservative and understanding of women have the tendency to become extravagant once she know how huge her husband earns. For men that earns well, the wives cannt stand hearing that the man is broke. Otherwise he must produce the cashbook register of how he spent every penny.
The model I recommend is for the spouses to agree on how bills are financed- house maintenance, children schools fees, capital projects, dependant relatives etc.once these are agreed, let each spouse play his/her role as agreed. This approach will protect the spouses so much hassles about domestic finances and its attendant implications on the home.
Cheers,
Wow! See dedication.

There's no wrong or right answer to this.

If you want to disclose your earnings to your partner, then do so. If not, then don't.

It's all personal preferences. But if you're in a marriage with someone, there should be no lies or dishonesty. However, if you're only dating, then you don't really have any reason to disclose your earnings.

A girl should like you because of who you are, and not for how deep your pocket is.
CrimeRe: VIDEO: Girl Caught Stealing At Shoprite by abiL(f): 6:56pm On Oct 13, 2012
That video is f[u]cking DISGUSTING!

A violation of the highest order.

All the grown men taking advantage of a young girl just because she allegedly stole some petty things.

Even if the men haven't got any daughters of their own, don't they have sisters, cousins, niece etc..

What they did to that girl is vile!

They way they were taking pleasure in stripping her of her dignity. && one of them even had the guts to put something into her private part. How f[u]cking dare he.

I'm fuming right now.

&& who's the a[s]shole who took pride in recording this sh[i]t. Out of all the people there, no one came to the girl's aid.

I can't even see my self going on holiday to Nigeria. The amount of disgusting, vile, repulsive, unwarranted sh[i]t going on in that country is uncalled for.

Some bast[a]rds in Nigeria just gives the whole country a bad name.

Some people are a disgrace to the human race.

Now the abused girl is going to have to spend the rest of her life with this traumatic experience.

F[u]cking animals. They should be caged.
