QUICK UPDATE: I finally did my capturing (biometrics) after all the back and forth

Registered last week, submitted yesterday after all their shenanigans. DIY is not easy but it’s definitely worth it!

Collection date is showing 16th May , which is five days from today. How feasible is that

Anyways I’m on my way back to my city. ain’t coming here for at least another four weeks unless I get a call

P.S I stood my ground and didn’t pay shishi to any officer or admin fee. 100% DIY

Let me explain to you since you've failed to comprehend. There are people of 50 years that have birth certificates. So why would someone less than that shouldn't have? Except for obvious reasons. Mind you I only
codedly pointed to the fact that it's only DIY applicants that they would frustrate with that requests. People still use declaration of age done today for passport application but might be frustrated with DIY.

Regarding the emboldened; most shippers have a CBM rate that they will charge you even though your items are not up to that. Find out what this minimum rate is from your shipper, then use this link (https://youtu.be/8U--6nASgDOsc) to calculate how many of your items will fill up this minimum CBM. Having this information will help you decide whether you should let go of the extra space or maximize it buying more of your items.

Currently discussing with them and other suppliers to see if they will ship including clearing and customs duty.

I just chatted with them and was quoted 612.9USD for CIF shipping cost alone without clearing at the port, which is still quite expensive but could be as a result of the global supply chain issues affecting worldwide shipping...

Also they said 80pcs EVE 280ah can fit 1CBM which is quite cool for the business side....

I did 10 years 64 pages at Alausa. Captured on Nov. 19.

I opted for this 64 pages with the 10 years duration because
i read on this thread where some people claim they got it
within 1 and 2 weeks as the booklet is always available

Though i have Jan. 24, 2022 as collection day on my capturing slip
but i was thinking it will ready at most in 3 week based on the claims
here but it is not happening as i went there on the Dec 10th to try
my luck.

I asked an officer if it is likely to be available before Jan. 24th the
due date and his response was that NOT likely because
the 64 pages booklet is not available (not sounding good because
i squeezed over 72,000 naira the official price from my bank account
hoping to get it fast) .


My submission is contrary to the claims that 64 page (both 5 and 10
years booklets) are readily available and that you if you apply
for them you will get your passport in 1 or 3 weeks after capturing
are NOT true.

So have you collected your passport? i intend to apply for fresh 64 page 10
years too

cost was USD 560.00 i was told by Fedex to pay 15k for custom duty before it could be sent to my house which i did sharp sharp! And it was delivered to my doorstep

Na wa o, Shipping cost has really gone up, to pay 730usd for shipping and then wait for months then still pay for Customs clearing sounds way too much maybe best to consider shipping rates from other reputable sellers of Lifepo4 batteries...

wrong calculation sha, a well packed 280ah cells, 4pcs in carton with enough white foam. one cbm will take 64pcs. right now one cbm of battery goods is 420k upwards (inclusive custom duties ) shipping time is 3 to 4months.

Ok if Custom duty is inclusive then thats not too bad but still expensive though

Also if you are shipping by sea 1 CBM should be able to take 16 batteries i think so and also should be less than 450kg, also im not sure if the custom clearing cost is inclusive for the amount you quoted.. the last time i checked 1 CBM used to be around 350-550 USD but i dont know how things are at the moment

I paid for express Air shipping because i wanted to get hold of my Batteries Asap and also clearing to be taken care of by the company receiving my consignment, first shipment took more days than expected due to Corona wahala in some key cities in China.
Both shipment under trading term of DDP, Convenient Delivery (You can receive the goods at the destination place, your supplier will do the import customs clearance at the destination port and also afford all the fees including import duty)

First shipment cost USD 991.93 for 8 batteries and other little components
2nd shipment cost USD 1,035.16 for same 8 batteries and other little components (16s Jbd BMS etc)
* i also paid extra 20k x 2 for the batteries to be flown from Lagos to Abuja

I paid for goods/shipping on March.3, 2022 but i received my goods 10th/4/2022 for 1st shipment
I paid for goods/shipping on Apr. 7, 2022 but i received my goods 22nd/4/2022 for 2nd shipment

Finally bit the bullet and jumped onto the Lithium train. Took delivery of brand new grade A Eve Lf280k last week and it has been an exciting journey making them into an SAY bank for a 48v setup.

Before I got the batteries I got a bench power supply to help with top balancing, orings terminal plugs for terminating the BMS balance leads, JBD 7S-20S 200A BMS ILSCO de-ox (for preventing oxidation when two incompatible metals meet)

I also used the opportunity to add to my panel capacity from 3kw to 5kw with the addition of 4x 540w JA panels (thanks to JustAskMannuel)

Currently too balancing the batteries (they are almost balanced currently at 3.6v per cell.

Would be providing updates once setup is complete.

From my experience i use Paypal to pay for transactions in usd, so the Barter Card connected is charged for each payment, If by withdrawal you mean to send money to another Paypal Account? the Nigerian Paypal account i use does not permit direct sending the last time i checked but you can use it to pay for things.....
