Hello Guys, I recently got PR and would be relocating in December. I intend to apply for a visitor visa for my mum so that she can come with us. I don't know if this is the right place, but I need guidance on how best to apply and the necessary documents to submit. Note that she's retired and doesn't have any source of income per se.

Yes am married...am a senior official working with the government but my husband attached all his work documents,bank statement, pay slips to support me...we have a Us citizen daughter..we also attached two buildings of ours...and my husband is not going which I thought it's a tie back home...my invitee in Canada is my husband cousin...

I summited paper on the 9 August 2019,got Bvl on the 13 n denial mail on the 19th September..no pick up mail or text..
Was denial based on the ties in Canada n Nigeria and also travel history..have been to UK more than 6times,Us,south Africa n Dubai...am really shocked about this denial...still my passport isn returned...

Iqas is a school of patience..acknowledge of transcript takes one month...but definitely it's will come out fine

On Ielts wahala...i practise alot mostly wiv the recent Cambridge practise test but i keep having low scoresin section 2..mostly the multiple answer sections..two speaker talking in listening test...
Please will appreciate who can explain the tricks in this section...

If I must say if am to have my baby again in the US.. I will neva say with any relative or friend.. I had a terrible experience with my own aunt.. I had my baby dis August.. She kept on saying I shld come earlier.. I was in us at 31weeks..she took me to the near by hospital at 5mins walk from r place cos she didn want me to be a burden on r.. On getting to the hospital.. She told me to lie I was in d country without papers and I was single... Dat was where our fight started.. I told r I dnt want medicaid or freebies at all cos of my future entry.. She said do I no more Dan r.. She was so authoritative... She starved my life... Everything I ate was not organic to her...chicken and French fries became my daily meal... After two weeks I got to know r neighbour who is a nurse and worked in a public hospital.. I told r abt d new development I preferred to go to an affordable hospital ... She got angry and said I shld leave r apartment and move to my new friends... Was like a movie... But God was asleep.. I had my baby tru vd in August... Called r severally and even sent mgs to r.. She neva replied me till date... To make matter worse.. We stayed on same floor.. Use same elevator... She ll neva greet either me or my baby.. But I kept on greeting r... am back to naija and will b forever grateful to the neighbours who God sent at my dying time...
Sorry for the long post... Just reading tru and to make pple know even outsiders r better Dan this so called family members

If u v to use hospital in new York... Use their public hospital. Google the one close to you... U can negotiate with bills when u v ur cash as hand after child birth

I had my baby in Lincoln hospital Bronx his on the 8 August ...I had a wonderful experience.
.I was in Labour for 24hrs n d doctors were calm with me til I was fullu dilated...I can try d hospital

Tanx to everyone in dis forum...V bin a silent readers and u all helped...Got in newyork tru JFK ...entered crap arik...though enough space to sleep the plane was empty but food n entertainment was nonsense...did fit to fly at the port health at the airport...

The officer asked wat i came for..I said vacation n child birth..he didn even notice I was pregnant
.he said for citizenship..I said no better health,he den took me for secondary inspection spent 2hrs...I was been drilled but I got all docs...Pls note change of intent letter to embassy is very important and docs correspondence...I was asked many questions and what do i do and what hubby does...I was carrying lk dollars and i explained scarcity of dollars in my country but I v money on my cards...
She was still not satified..I started prayin in my mind..God of adeboye...she went to call someone else after much deliberation...i was stamped 6months even though my visa ll expire oct...i cant thank enough...God bless u all
