MaxInDHouse: They were Christians and they spread Christianity you don't get to choose who's Christian and who isn't Christian the ultimate point is that without them Christianity wouldn't even exist today it would have died out very quickly. And I never said Jesus forced his teaching on anyone but the missionaries of Jesus and the Christians such as you do force your teachings on everybody for no reason 3 Likes |

athaboi: PDP has already lost this election they're actively trying to support the ZLP candidate https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/302753/anambra-guber-talks-with-okonkwo-zlp-stall-pdp-campaign.html ADC candidate Nwankpo has been getting increased attention due to ADC grassroot campaign as well as his idea for Umunna governance in Anambra And even on top of that ADC might get factions of APGA to merge into their party structure giving them a larger base in Anambra The most likely case is that it will be APGA vs PDP vs APC but i;m hopeful that this election things can change and it will be APGA vs ZLP vs ADC |

Just30: Nok wasn't a small village wtf are you talking about? There's a small village named Nok but Nok was an empire that spanned Northern Nigeria past the confluence and into Southern Nigeria. There's no evidence that any group in Nigeria or Benin got its origin from Ancient Ghana at all, you're just spewing nonsense it's either a few refugees from Ancient Ghana in the hundreds came and met the Aboriginals or it's that refugees from the Nile valley came and met with the Aboriginals and their culture developed from there, there's literally no other way to describe it anything else you say is null and void |
Politics / Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Abohboy: 10:10am On Oct 18, 2021 |
Just30: You clearly don't know anything about history Ancient Ghana empire was founded or at least as far as we know actually became large around 300AD Meanwhile Nok had already covered land the northern extremities of Nigeria past the confluence and had been working Iron and clay since about 1000BC Nsibidi script has been found on over a thousand monoliths spread out in an area that covers Cameroon, Cross River State and Abia State in Nigeria and they date to about 2000BC Both are way way older then the Ancient Ghana empire the most likely case is that these people already lived there and already had established nations and languages then those from Ancient Ghana came as refugees and brought aspects of their culture into other parts of Africa The Ancient Ghana empire is too young for you to be claiming that it is the origin of All West African groups maybe it's the origin of the Asante but it isn't the origin of any ethnic group in Nigeria or Benin and that includes the Fon and the Ga. |
Politics / Group Adots ADC, Appoints Atiugwe As Nwankpo Campaign DG by Abohboy: 10:03am On Oct 18, 2021 |
A non-partisan political pressure group, the Third Force Movement, has adopted the African Democratic Party (ADC) on the basis that its governorship candidate, Sullivan Akachukwu Nwankpo, has no baggage. Besides, the group has endorsed the former Women’s Wing Director of Senator Uche Ekwunife Governorship Campaign in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary, Mrs. Ego Florence Atuigwe, to serve as the Director-General of Akachukwu Nwankpo Campaign Organisation. Chairman of the Movement, Pastor Okey Ojibe and co-Chairman, Prof. Aghadiuno, who disclosed this to newsmen in Awka, Anambra State, yesterday, contended the adoption of ADC was because the Movement’s mission is in line with the party’s mantra that places premium of the “Anambra families first.” He said that the Third Force Movement was planning to project Akachukwu’s campaign activities by working to ensure the collapse of different denominations into ADC structure. According to him, the group adopted Nwankpo after rigorous consideration of his 15 years of transparent and corruption-free public service that spanned from local council, state government and Federal Government of President Goodluck Jonathan as a Special Adviser and Executive Secretary of SURE-P. Corroborating him, Aghadiuno said that the group would before next month make a formal announcement of its position in keeping with its interest in facilitating provision of quality governance and transparent leadership. MEANWHILE, the flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 6, 2021 Anambra governorship election, Valentine Ozigbo and a music maestro, Innocent Idibia (a.k.a. 2Baba) have advocated a violence-free electoral process in the forthcoming election. Ozigbo and 2Baba, otherwise called 2Face, made the declaration in Awka, Anambra State, at the weekend, when the gubernatorial candidate hosted a delegation from the ‘Vote-Not-Fight: Election No Be War’ campaign. The campaigners consisted of officials from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), National Democratic Institute (NDI), the 2Baba Foundation and the Catch Them Young Community Initiative (CATYCOI). The contingent, which was led by ‘2Baba’ Idibia, also included Bem Aga, NDI’s Programmes Manager, Tracy Keshi, NDI’s Programme Officer, Nonso Orakwe, Executive Director of CATYCOI, and Israel Orji, the Programme Manager of CATYCOI. Both parties signed a peace pledge card to complement their declaration to advocate a peaceful election. Ozigbo hailed 2Baba and the Vote-Not-Fight campaign for their consistency and the importance of the message of peace and non-violence electioneering; the two crucial issues he believed can change the course of the black race. https://guardian.ng/news/group-adopts-adc-appoints-atuigwe-as-nwankpo-campaign-dg/

Just30: I'm talking about the people from Ancient Ghana, Or Ancient Nubia, Or Ancient Kemet or which society you want to claim as origin only a few people from there actually left their homeland to other places in Africa the vast majority of these ethnic groups populations were already established before Ancient Ghana was even made |

Just30: The problem is you claimed 90% how does that work? Undoubtedly populations from large African civilizations migrated to different areas after the collapse and influenced the cultures of said areas but these places already had people living there so to say 90% can trace their origin to one place is stupid The Nok were in Nigeria and The Sao in Chad and Niger before the Ancient Ghana empire was even in existence a few refugees from these empires could have assimilated but not 90% as yoou wrongly claimed 1 Like |

dreu2fine: ADC already has a structure so why would we need APC? ADC has members in each and every LGA of Nigeria other then a few in Borno State where there's terrorism but otherwise we have a structure and a candidate in every single election we're quite literally the third largest political party in Nigeria after APC and PDP and were founded about 16 years ago 1 Like |
