Next time put your argument in a proper context.

Abidjan have tall buildings? Don't we have tall buildings in Accra?

If you had said Abidjan have more or taller highrises than Accra it would make sense.

Imagine someone saying,
*Accra have interchanges*
*Accra have Malls*
*Accra have Airport*
*Accra have big Universities* etc?
dont they have Malls, interchanges, Big universities etc in Abidjan too?

No you don't have tall buildings in Accra, there's literally no skyline at all the tallest building in Accra is probably the Kente towers and they're no more then 21 flrs

The election is between APC and APGA

APC who's Andy Uba has been shown to have a fake secondary school certificate?

APC who has now been snubbed by APGA who've now began talks to support ADC's candidate?

APC that is considered Anti-Igbo?

APC that has a thug as their gubernational candidate?

If things go the way I think they'll go APC will finish third after APGA and ADC

Abidjan city planners did a good job but all the same Accra has got lots of other good things over Abidjan... There's nothing Abidjan have that Accra do not have.

For a well organized and planned city, Abidjan takes the crown but for development! please Accra ain't joking

Abidjan has tall buildings...

It's the fact that Abrahamic religion practicioners use this term of idol worshippers to demonize Isese when they essentially do the same thing by having representations or art forms of different religious figures and they pray to them but if someone from a different religion does it, it somehow becomes satanic we really need to cleanse our mindset in Nigeria

Is he paying for surgery or is he buying equipment such as beds, lights, generator, stethoscopes etc? This is a local health care centre and if you didn't already know surgeries don't take place there it is where you go when you have a cold, or a minor sprain or may have broken a bone and it isn't major etc.

And what has Sowore done in that medium? NOTHING

On the contrary you dont seem to understand what a merger means. I refer you to my earlier post reproduced below. Again you can merge all you want, but if after your merger you are still insignificant, what have you gained? Do they have members in the NASS or senate? You field candidates that gain 10 votes...clap for them. When these parties gain enough momentum, come back until then I am not wasting my vote, i will rather stay at home or vote for the lesser of 2 evils. I gain nothing by voting for someone who has no effect on the election but even if I dont elect a good candidate my vote can help keep a worse candidate out. Truth be told, one may be better of voting out a government that hasnt performed and electing a worse one than wasting my vote on someone withe no chance of winning...at least it helps send a message to those a in power that they have to perform....Unfortunately thats the reality of Nigerian politics.

ADC alone has 5 members of the NASS and they haven't even done any concerted grassroot campaign now with increased media popularity, support from APGA in the Anambra election, endorsement by Tinubu and now a merger with 6 other parties you really think that they have no chance? And your point of electing the lesser of two evils is stupid you should vote for the good leader even if they don't win so at least you know within yourself that you never supported any form of evil within governance and if the good candidate wins then happy days you contributed to a positive change in society I would rather 'waste' my vote then give it away to someone evil

Actually I did because I at the time thought like you, i.e let's encourage one of these other candidates. I have since realized that while it sounds well in theory, it is a wasted vote and i would have been better off sitting at home. It is better voting for which party you think is the lesser of 2 evils than wasting your vote on a party that has no hope and isnt growing either. It is a different thing if a party starts today and grows but these ones are not growing so they will be perpertually wasting people's votes.

Just answer 2 questions: How many of them have grown their grassroots structures since the last elections? How many of them fielded any candidate in the numerous local govt, state and legislative elections that have happenned since 2019? they will come again and say they are contesting elections. it is only president they want to be, How do you want to govern when you have no assembly members or senators or local govt reps? So say someone like Moghalu or Durotoye or any of the jokers wins the presidency, but his party has no senators or NASS members, he wont be able to do anything, he will be controlled by either PDP or APC.......so why waste your vote on him or his like

It's not a wasted vote for one and it's clear you don't understand what a merger means you made the point that the parties aren't growing but if they're merging is that not quite literally expanding and growing the party? You asked whether they've had candidates in any Senatorial or gubernatinal election and I will tell you go and search for it ADC has had a candidate in every single election from LGA to presidential in Nigeria since 2007 even Sowore's AAC has had candidates in gubernational and senatorial elections

The word oba came from benin and infiltrated into the Yoruba lexicon through benin military campaign in Yoruba territories

There's no evidence to support your claim that the Edo royals bloodline is purely Edo for all you know they could've married a Yoruba princess from a neighbouring kingdom therefore letting in Yoruba blood or even an Igbo princess

Anambra is APC.

Anambra can't be APC currently the election will be hotly contested between APGA, ADC and ZLP

APC's candidate has been proven to have a fake secondary school certificate and the party has been viewed as anti-igbo

PDP is dead upon arrival with no numbers or popularity and seems they've split into different factions as well with some supporting the ZLP candidate

APGA has been split into three and two of those factions are likely to join ADC but Soludo still remains the most popular candidate

ADC has gotten the support of two factions of APGA as well as the whole structure of PPA and their candidate made interesting proposals at the governorship debate so they have a chance

ZLP seems to have gotten the support of some factions in PDP and their candidate also impressed at the debate as well

So ultimately both PDP and APC are dead on arrival if the current trends and news are anything to go by

Politics / APGA In Disarray As Stakeholders May Reject APC, Opt For ADC In Anambra by Abohboy: 12:00pm On Oct 17, 2021
The outcome of the Supreme Court judgment billed for October 20, 2021 next week has let the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State in jittery and tends to worsen the already polarised rank and file of the party, with each camp out to work against the interest of the other aftermath of the verdict.

Currently, APGA has three rival National Chairmen: Victor Oye backing Chukwuma Soludo’s governorship ticket, Jude Okeke supporting Chukwuma Umeoji and Edozie Njoku, respectively, believably rooting for Nicholas Ukachukwuas different flag-bearers for the November 6, 2021 governorship election.

The Supreme Court judgment is coming on the heels of replacement of Umeoji’s name earlier enlisted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with that of Soludo and rejection of Oye’s application for joinder by the Court of Appeal, which ordered him to return to the High Court where Njoku was given recognition as the National Chairman to seek for such relief.

The Guardian gathered that implosion being awaited in APGA might have compelled the stakeholders, including traditional rulers, religious and town union leaders to settle for an alternative party that will not only produce the next governor of Anambra State, but also be in strong contention for the 2023 Presidency.

An impeccable source, who confided in The Guardian, contended that the stakeholders were not keen on supporting the candidate of APC, Senator Andy Uba, over alleged anti-Igbo sentiment of the party and counterpart in Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, over anti-power shift aspiration.

The development in Imo State where the serving governor came to power through Supreme Court’s controversial verdict, and the attendant killings, arson and disappearance of some youths that trailed the governor’s one-year in office, the stakeholders observed, are ominous signs that APC is not desired in Anambra State.

As a way out, the stakeholders, according to the source, have developed soft spot for ADC, which not only has an Igboman from Anambra State, Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu, as its National Chairman, but also a one-time-time Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo, who is deemed not to have a political baggage.

According to the source, the stakeholders are good to go with ADC, which with the backing of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, emerged as a consensus party to produce the presidential candidate in the lead to the 2019 election, but for last minute development.

Further investigation by The Guardian showed that last week’s declaration of the former Young Progressives Party (YPP), Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, is putting ADC in a better stead for both the 2021 governorship election and 2023 presidential contest.

It was gathered that Moghalu’s entry into ADC was part of the strategies to open a floodgate, which will see no fewer than 10 other good presidential materials join ADC as an alternative party to APC and PDP at the national level.

Which Nigerian political party has an idology (none) manifesto/promises (yes) but they are all lies our dear apc is proof. for an election thats about 1 year away meaning they only have next year to merge, pick a candidate and run campaigns considering the logistics and funding needed is it realistic? i do not think so as no reasonable Nigeria would put their hope on a party that was just hurriedly put together and has not left any lasting impression on Nigerians.

By ideology I mean socialism, social democracy, capitalism etc.

There's a party manifesto separate from a candidates manifesto

If the party is large and has influential Nigerians that the people believe are good then they'll vote for them

you guys are slow if you want to merge do so already and let us see who you field but no you are just using us to play politics as usual you have never been serious about challenging apc or pdp so moghalu just shut up

You act as if it's a quick process to merge.

You have to make a new party constitution first off then
Come up with a common logo
A common vision
A common manifesto
A common motto
A common ideology

And you need to re elect an NEC board and restructure the party from bottom to top as in re electing each and every State executive council and replacing candidates with others from different parties etc.

It definitely isn't a quick process and has nothing to do with politics

I'm not forcing anyone I don't care about ethnicity and no ethnic group should have a singular opinion or voice each person votes for who they want to win I personally want Moghalu or Peter Obi and maybe just maybe an Osinbajo presidency but I would never accept Tinubu or Atiku and from what i've read they're the ones that will be presented by APC and PDP so for me it's Moghalu unless a different candidate presents themself
