Olu317:When did she compare him to Odua? She compared him to Orunmila the Orisha of Wisdom and the odu ifa and he came down in human form to teach odu ifa to the people as well as philosophy she's comparing his philosophical teachings to those of Socrates it is a fair comparison |
Olu317:The statement is 401 Yoruba and Igbo towns and it never said only Ekiti it is in Ondo, Ekiti and the Igbo groups before the Niger River so those in Delta State, Bayelsa State and Kogi State etc |
RichardRexs:2%? Where are you getting your data from? Kogi where people are being kidnapped and killed on the highways? Kogi where herdsmen and terrorists run free killing, maiming, raping and kidnapping people I pray that you recieve sense soon |
SlyDev:Umahi alone has built ten times more infrastructure then Yahaya Bello does in the same amount of time. Don't be foolish |
You will fix Nigeria abi? But ordinary potholes in Kogi State you cannot fix, to even create industry in Kogi State is a challenge for you |
Just know that if you boycott the election APC will win |
It is Moghalu Or Peter Obi or nothing we will not take any other leader and we certainly won't take Tinubu or Atiku |
Just30:There's no custom against it in Africa every single African person who's against it is either Christian, Muslim, Or an Atheist who grew up in either of those two religions people who actually practice African spirituality don't believe in that and by your logic Africans already decided that African spirituality was demonic and that's why it's demonized there's no custom against homosexuality and stop trying to make it seem that way |
Just30:the stigma agaisnt homosexuality is literally based off of the bible because it was from the bible that society started viewing it as an abomination go and study gender concepts in pre colonial Africa and see how there was no stigma or discrimination against it |
Kazikazi:Diesel engines are way cheaper then electric engines what are you talking about? And it costs more to generate and distribute electricity then it does to buy diesel and put it into an engine I feel you have a gross misunderstanding about everything |
delpee:I know there's 'modern' parts but majority of the population in Ibadan lives in those areas and some sort of regeneration campaign needs to be under taken in such a manner that the houses are repainted, checked for structural stability, provided with electricity, water, drainage and toilets then allow for provision of sidewalks over the open drainages I feel the thing that makes the building look so bad is how dirty the exterior and it's surroundings are if trees are planted around them, sidewalks built and they're cleaned then Ibadan would look like a totally new city |
Kazikazi:It is more expensive but it is more efficient those countries have the money to maintain but most African countries don't right now |
Kazikazi:There's no Bantus in Nigeria dumbass |
Here is an accurate prediction for how the Anambra Guber election will most likely end We'll start off with APGA APGA Has split into four factions with three of those four factions attempting a merger with ADC and that move would greatly weaken APGA and reduce the numbers that they'd have gotten in the poll but luckily for them they fielded Soludo an extremely popular candidate amongst Ndi Anambra and they still have the reputation and name which can carry them along for this election APC: With many scandals following Andy Uba and the increasing anti igbo sentiment flowing out of APC it is becoming increasingly clear that APC will not win the election they may end up winning a few LGAs but for the most part they really cannot win the election especially now with the court cases surrounding Andy Uba he may even be pulled out of the race PDP: Their candidate is unknown he has no chance and PDP stakeholders in Anambra have even started supporting the candidate of ZLP ADC: They've gotten increased attention due to the rumours of a merger between them and a few factions of APGA and also due to their candidates new idea of involving the Umunna into governance for accountability and proper community based development a lot of people have lauded his ideas and believe he will be the next candidate but he isn't that known but it's left for election day to see the outcome YPP: He's a thug but he will still manage to win his LGA and that's basically the end of it he has no chance at winning the election ZLP: Their candidate has brought good ideas about development and industry in Anambra and has even gotten the support of some PDP stakeholders but ZLP is the least known political party in Anambra between the major groups vying for the seat at Awka so as far as i'm concerned he has no chance A: Their candidate is extremely popular and his grassroot movement and media project was very well organized and the most likely case is that he will win a few LGAs and come very close to getting the seat but i'm not sure if he has enough support to be able to win it seeing as he isn't as popular as the APGA candidate In conclusion i'd say that the parties in winning order will be between these three options APGA APC PDP A ADC YPP ZLP APC APGA ADC A ZLP PDP YPP ADC APGA ZLP APC PDP YPP Those are just my opinion and for me the first or third option will be the final outcome of the Anambra election |
abdelrahman:And especially in cities like Ibadan unless they decide on building a new modern area outside of the main area but it's either they repaint the houses and give them proper roofing or they just demolish them all and put modern buildings in their place it's the only way for the cities to actually look good |
Lovelive:Nigerian people can decide but is ADC large enough to challenge APC and PDP in the next 16 months and actually bring proper change to Nigeria? |
abdelrahman:Exactly these places are too densely packed and more space should be given around the roads for proper drainage and side walk pavement if a good leader were to come to Nigeria a lot of people would be angry because a lot of houses and buildings will have to be destroyed for the place to look good I hope we can have a full reformation of the system and we can have an end to open drainage movement scheduled for 2030 because they're really becoming a nuisance |
You guys are really supporting the construction of basic roads? When you should be looking for urban renewal in Lokoja, housing units, factories, water treatment plants, improving the river niger waterfront or better yet why not build some schools and hospitals a few roads that don't even add up to 1000km in a state like Kogi isn't something to celebrate stop admiring mediocrity and vote for someone better |
juman:Moghalu and Peter Obi are a better fit for presidency Soludo will most likely win the election but ADC might surprise him or APC with their thug |
ADCnig:What makes ADC so special in Nigeria and what structure do they have to even be able to deliver in the presidential election they're too small at this point in time and they'll most likely snub any mergers |
garfield1:Soludo already won those cases and he was popular before them and now after them but Andy Uba has been a lot less popular and the court cases could further damage his reputation All I hope is that ADC win their plan for Umunna development makes me hopeful that things could change and that proper development could reach all nooks and crannies of Anambra but currently Ndi Anambra seem sure that they just want Soludo And then there's also articles like this and others that i've made threads about which again make me question of whether or not Soludo will actually coast to victory easily but ultimately we'll see in the next 2 weeks https://pmexpressng.com/umunna-revolution-over-1-6million-registered-voters-in-anambra-have-endorsed-akachukwu-nwankpo/ |
cc garfield1 Would you mind if I made a similar thread on a different date with my own opinions? They won't be as informed or even at an LGA basis but i'd still like to share my opinions in the format you did here |
garfield1:The court cases may be watery but they're still damaging Uba's case as governor They're divided but the people still mainly know about APGA and Soludo is a very popular candidate if ADC were to win it would be very slight win other APGA and not a clear one I've seen many reports of ADC claiming to have absorbed PPA and also to be close to absorbing three factions of APGA but until those deals are solidified them winning in Anambra isn't definite |
juman:I beg to differ both the ADC and ZLP candidates would be better then him |
DeadCountry:No election in Biafraland yet there's more then 2.5 million registered voters more then 900k then there were last year |
garfield1:If you actuallly believe that Andy Uba will win in Anambra then you need to double check your sources APGA split into four factions and if you go and read one of my threads, three of those factions are currently trying to merge into ADC and support their candidate Nwankpo you leaving him out of the equation already shows that you haven't read anything APC has increasingly gotten an anti Igbo name in the SE and now with George Moghalu taking Andy Uba to court other rigged primaries and another group taking him to court for fake SSCE or WAEC documents is already reducing his chances of winning because even if he does win one of those accusations will catch up with him and the runner up will take power PDP has also split apart and multiple stakeholders in PDP are actively supporting Okonkwo of ZLP instead of the actual PDP candidate which is why as far as i'm concerned in this election APC and PDP won't be winning any LGAs this will be an election or rather a battle of the third force parties APGA will still come out on top in the end but i'm sure Accord, ZLP and ADC will win at least one LGA respectively |
jl115:I thought you had 3 kids and were in your 40s damn |
EmptyGarden:Which good leader have we actually elected? Power hasn't changed anyone they've been corrupt but we voted them in anyway look at Obasanjo we saw him as a military general in the 70s yet we let him get power again and Buhari who destroyed the economy and began the Japa phenomenon in Nigeria back in the 80s yet we thought it was a good idea to vote him in again |
He cannot win he has no support even within PDP a lot of their members have gone ahead and support ZLP both APC and PDP are dead in Nigeria |
Appisko:After who? Ivory Coast? |
EmptyGarden:Yes you can we just don't vote in the right people into power to develop the country |
Kingsley Moghalu, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, has blamed the failure of government for a turnaround of the nation’s strength and asset into threat. In a statement, yesterday, titled: ‘The Future of Nigeria’s Youth, Promise of a Moghalu Presidency’, the presidential aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) said: “Nigeria’s young men and women face many fundamental challenges. The strength of their numbers (nearly 70 per cent of our population) is supposed to be the country’s most productive asset; but the failure of governance has turned this into a threat, and the #EndSARS movement has witnessed efforts to silence the voices of our young people, physically and on social media including the ‘Twitter ban’. “A year ago, Nigerian youth organised themselves in the peaceful #EndSARS protests to demand freedom from police brutality. Quite sadly, the bravery of the young compatriots was met with even more brutality. Like millions of fellow citizens, and indeed the youth, today, I especially remember those who paid the ultimate price for freedom during the protest. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten or in vain.” In solidarity with their struggles, Moghalu unveiled his five-point agenda for the youth, if elected as President in 2023. They are start-ups funding scheme, transitional unemployment support, inclusive governance, leadership mentoring and intergenerational equity council, which will be a policy advisory body that will be tasked with embedding the youth in the economy and governance of the country. “The council will work to bring into reality the promises of the National Youth Policy. As part of its responsibilities, the council will memorialise the 2020 #EndSARS protest and restore civic engagement and the right to protest as provided for in the Nigerian constitution,” he said. https://guardian.ng/news/moghalu-says-failure-of-govt-has-turned-youths-nations-asset-into-threat/

This is just tentative, it is not the final predictions.between 2-5 of Nov,I'll come out with a final analysis.normally, the election should be a walkover for apga but a lot of factors are working against their victory...
