You need the German floor done before your continue building
If the building is having problem Like line coming down from the wall (wall crack )
It will not go always to you foundation
If you don't do German floor it will crack always to your foundation

Well noted, thank you sir, your contribution are appreciated.That there picture didn't depict water ingress.
If you apply pressure or force in parts, they would fall off.
Only thing making portland cement screeding bond well is the addition of p.v.a binder in sufficient amount. It's basically what's binding it to any surface and not cement.
Cement can't react with calcium carbonate in pop emulsion paint like it would react with the silica in sand and it can't bond to surfaces like it would with sand mixture.
Cement would hydrate and harden smoothly but it's the organic binder that would improve it's adhesion.
Sufficient bond wasn't used like I earlier stated and let your painter get a stabilising solution.
That would improve the overall bonding and reduce absorption of paint when painting.

Three people, two male and one female, have been crushed to death by a trailer in Ibadan, Oyo state, Reports.

From The Information Gathered By , The incident which occurred in front of Bovas Filling Station at the Total Garden area of Ibadan on Wednesday morning, June 23, involved a trailer with reg. nos APP-696-XV belonging to Coca-Cola and a motorcycle with reg nos: BDJ-486-QX.

The fully-loaded truck was said to have suffered brake failure and rammed into the commercial motorcyclist and his two passengers, killing them while two other persons were injured.

It was gathered By , that some angry youths and motorcyclists at the scene attempted to set the trailer ablaze but they were prevented by the security operatives who shot sporadically into the air to scare them off.

The OYRTMA Emergency Rescue Team joined by other security agencies were on ground to calm ensuing tensions and the trailer involved was towed away from the road corridor till further investigations by the police.

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the state, Mrs Uche Chukwurah, who confirmed the incident said that five people were involved in the accident, with three confirmed dead and two others injured.

She attributed the likely cause of the accident to brake failure on the part of the trailer.

Chukwurah said that the injured persons were receiving treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, while the dead bodies had been deposited at Adeoyo Hospital.

Is your compound floor sealed ? Did the screeded parts come off during the rainy seasons only ? Was it all good during the hot season ?

Remove all portion affected with scraper and reapply.
Black Cement type is far better . They have to scrap all portion affected and reapply

That's grey portland cement screeding. Cement screeding has the tendency of cracking and flaking off after some time.
I'm thinking there wasn't sufficient organic binder introduced for proper bonding to the building.
Ready mixed basecoat still remains the most durable screeding materials for any form of screeding though.
You could apply a diluted wall stabilising solution to the wall so that it soaks through and bond the screeding to be building.

If it's pure white type of screeding it is normal.

Not enough amount of cement mixed with the Screeding Paint , which makes the solution watery. Solution has to be well mixed & thick before applying on the wall, wall has to be Properly scraped & sandpaper if necessary before applying Screeding solution. For better Results....

I always use one strategy in property investment, and it's to KEEP BUILDING, as long as you have the money at hand, keep building.

Build through the high prices, build through the low prices and even though the average prices, in the end, you will achieve a cost lower than what you will spend if you had waited. Delay is dangerous in Nigeria.

The way the economy of this country is going, there might never be a substantial crash of prices of goods or services because of the type of economy we run.

I sat and i thought of a lot of things, building materials are unnecessarily high now,

Is it possible for a crash to happen? Crash as in the price of these things to come down suddenly,

2)what will happen to those who built houses with the expensive building materials once the prices crash?

Someone adviced builders to chill till the end of the year that price of items will come down back.
