Engineer1985: My fear is that the super eagles might underrate the Malians and that could work against them.
That's why I said the SE can never match the level of effort they put into the CIV game. They have lost the underdog status which propelled them to play well.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mali (AFCON 2013) - (4 - 1) On 6th February 2013 by Abrantie: 11:47am On Feb 05, 2013
I predict a lot of suicides and heart attacks in Nigeria on 6th feb by 7:00 pm.

SportsRe: Burkina Faso Vs Ghana - AFCON 2013 - (3 - 2) On Pens On 6th Feb 2013 by Abrantie: 11:24pm On Feb 04, 2013
Selasie_D: :PThis may surprise u but I actually do. They have come along way and have done well. Civ is no easy team to beat.
Ahhhh... you're messing up the trash talk.

We are supposed to be breaking their spirits. I guess you're new to this Ghana-Nigeria efights.
SportsRe: Burkina Faso Vs Ghana - AFCON 2013 - (3 - 2) On Pens On 6th Feb 2013 by Abrantie: 11:16pm On Feb 04, 2013
Selasie_D: ;DHmmm there are some BF"s here. U would not want them seeing this
They should. Every fairy tale must end at some point and that includes Nigeria's too. I mean, do you honestly think SE deserves to be in the semi finals?
SportsRe: Burkina Faso Vs Ghana - AFCON 2013 - (3 - 2) On Pens On 6th Feb 2013 by Abrantie: 11:01pm On Feb 04, 2013
PetroDollaz: funny people.is it today we started playing burkina?do u know how many times we've played them n won?u guys couldn't beat them, but we are GHANA n we'll prove it again on wed.
BF is part of northern Ghana. Their economy depends on our infrastructure. If they dare beat us, we cut off their shipping routes from our ports. Some Nairalanders call it blackmail, we call it AFCON winning strategy. grin
SportsRe: Burkina Faso Vs Ghana - AFCON 2013 - (3 - 2) On Pens On 6th Feb 2013 by Abrantie: 10:56pm On Feb 04, 2013

SportsRe: Burkina Faso Vs Togo - AFCON 2013 (1 - 0) On February 3rd 2013 by Abrantie: 12:03am On Feb 04, 2013
Cusubaba: @ Ghanaians with their inferiority complex problem. U senseless Coward Ghanaian must u used a Nigeria name, why not used ur Ghanaian days names like Kofi, Kwame, Kweku, Kojo, etc. I.D.I.O.T.
If I recall, there's a loud mouth Nigerian on this site who calls himself "Gbawe" (a Ghanaian name and a suburb of Accra).
SportsRe: Burkina Faso Vs Togo - AFCON 2013 (1 - 0) On February 3rd 2013 by Abrantie: 12:00am On Feb 04, 2013
Nigeria, face it -- Mali will kick your a$$! SE will not play with the same mentality and determination with Mali as they did with CIV.

This cup belongs to GHANA! grin grin
SportsRe: Burkina Faso Vs Togo - AFCON 2013 (1 - 0) On February 3rd 2013 by Abrantie: 10:08pm On Feb 03, 2013
OmoEziokwu: Game over. Semi-final is Burkina Faso versus Ghana. Ghana may find that game very difficult to prosecute.
BF is part of northern Ghana (unofficially). We have already bought them off. grin
SportsRe: Burkina Faso Vs Togo - AFCON 2013 (1 - 0) On February 3rd 2013 by Abrantie: 10:03pm On Feb 03, 2013
It's only natural that BF would makes it to semi-finals. After all, when one lives next door to the master (Ghana), they are bound to pick up a few tricks of the trade. grin

Well, CIV lives next to the master too but they didn't pay attention. They were too arrogant and failed to learn.
SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 - (1 - 2) - On 3rd February 2013 by Abrantie: 9:14pm On Feb 03, 2013
honeric01: So because you beat them before means you will beat them now? when didn't you beat Congo?

Anyways sha, we are in a crucial stage now so Ghana and over-confidence shouldn't mix.

As for you winning Nigeria in final, get to the finals first.
We are already there. Our next game is just a formality. Hell will freeze over before Togo or BF beats mighty Ghana.

This cup is ours. Aint nobody stopping us.
SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 - (1 - 2) - On 3rd February 2013 by Abrantie: 9:04pm On Feb 03, 2013
Wale112: now that ivory coast is outta the way Ghana will win the cup! thank u naija u did a great job!! Ghana will continue from there!!
Yup! They did our job for us. From now on, it's easy sailing for the mighty Black Stars grin
SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 - (1 - 2) - On 3rd February 2013 by Abrantie: 9:01pm On Feb 03, 2013
damosky12: The hand of God is upon the Super Eagles. They will beat you.
See mouth. After the game, some of us have avoided neighborhood pubs with large Nigerian clientele because we know y'all are gonna be running your mouths till day break.
SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 - (1 - 2) - On 3rd February 2013 by Abrantie: 8:41pm On Feb 03, 2013
honeric01: What makes you think you can beat Togo/Burki?
Because we have always beaten them. They are both are immediate neighbors and they get cold feet whenever they meet Ghana.

Nigeria too shall bow down to us and call us "Igwe" when we meet.
SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 - (1 - 2) - On 3rd February 2013 by Abrantie: 8:29pm On Feb 03, 2013
bedford101: remaining the ghanians we will deal with...for them to really know who really is d giant
In your dreams. You first have to go through Mali.

I hope we both get to the finals. As I said some time last week or so, "Nobody eliminates Nigeria from the tournament except God or Ghana".
SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 - (1 - 2) - On 3rd February 2013 by Abrantie: 8:22pm On Feb 03, 2013
Well done Nigeria. I didn't watch the match but I'm impressed. Prior to the tournament I had a good vibe about your SE, but once it started things didn't seem positive. You have truly shocked us. Congrats.

SportsRe: Ghana Vs Cape Verde - AFCON 2013 - (2 - 0) On 2nd February 2013 by Abrantie: 8:09pm On Feb 02, 2013
vanstanzy: Cape verdian keeper is a very funny dude. grin How on earth can he leave his box 18 entirely, even together with his players. Maybe he never tot of counter-attack, what a doofus! grin grin grin
He gambled thinking that would be the final play of the game. So instead of an equalizer they concede another goal.
SportsRe: Ghana Vs Cape Verde - AFCON 2013 - (2 - 0) On 2nd February 2013 by Abrantie: 4:53pm On Feb 02, 2013
Ghana is being too stiff. We need to relax and just play. CV is not all that good.
CrimeRe: Iran's New Finger-amputating Machine For Thieves by Abrantie: 9:39am On Feb 02, 2013
That huge contraption just to amputate fingers? I now believe Iran is no where close to having a nuclear bomb.

mrkels: ^^ I tell you. In a country where theres no insurance policy cry

BTW...I think it was the seatbelt that saved the lady's life, i mean look at that damage shocked
There are several insurance companies in Ghana. The company where most drivers go through is SIC: http://www.sic-gh.com/ ... established in 1962! You can't register your car without insurance, and the police check for insurance.
SportsRe: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria - AFCON 2013 - (1 - 2) - On 3rd February 2013 by Abrantie: 8:56pm On Feb 01, 2013
Lets be realistic. There's no way in hell this current Nigeria team can beat Ivory Coast or even hold them to a draw.

Before the tournament, I was optimistic about your team but now I know this team really sucks. Miracles do happen, and I hope one does happen with this match.
