That's not specific to Nollywood. I'm sure it happens in all African movies

There's hardly any art or paintings on walls in Nigerian movies. Walls are always blank, with yards of curtains covering every window.

Only in Nigerian movies you see village women looking clean, fresh with soft glowing skin and salon grade hair-dos.

safarigirl: before this tournament and even now, Ghanaians are everywhere shouting 'we will carry AFCON trophy' 'we'll trash everyone' 'blah blah blah'. While Nigerians are saying the opposite, as far as football, y'all are arrogant.

I hope DRC MAKES you EARN that win, and it is the prayer of every Nigerian home and abroad that by some stroke of luck we will meet you guys in this tournament and shove a large, stinky sock (preferrably belonging to one of our players) down your arrogant, bragging, throats with a trashing that will make Nkrumah sneeze in his grave.
girl, you are angry!

RomanceBeyoncé Boings Jay-z After Listening To "Make Love To Me" (pics) by Abrantie(op): 8:30pm On Jan 17, 2013
Sultry Beyoncé has revealed her bedroom secrets in a sizzling photoshoot at her own home - and it involves listening to raunchy songs before making love to husband Jay-Z.

In raunchy backstage footage of a sizzling GQ shoot 31-year-old Beyoncé can be seen stripping down to her underwear and even throwing flour all over her kitchen, in an attempt to enhance her domestic goddess reputation.

Showing off her sensual side Beyoncé flirts with the camera in the shoot with famed photographer Terry Richardson, who encourages the curvy singer to embrace more than just the usual underwear shots - one frame shows the sultry star reading the New York Post in an over-sized man's shirt.

And the star reveals in the interview that when she is scared she often listens to Make Love To Me, by Rick James, before going to make love to her husband rapper Jay-Z

She said: 'If I'm scared, be scared, allow it, release it, move on. I think I need to go listen to 'Make Love to Me' and make love to my husband."

Clad in leopard print underwear the singer shows off her washboard stomach in the footage on Rap-Up.com wearing just the briefs and a midriff baring black top.

kristikat: they should not know themselves,
until the time is right........
babies are usually ADULT SPIRITS coming from heaven to live here,
and experience this reality,
if they see themselves too soon,
they may fail in accomplishing what it is they came to do here,
since they must first come here on a clean slate,
or think this life is the only life there is to live,
knowledge of them coming from some place else,
may totally confuse them,
and maybe make them forget why they came here...
since they come here with a specific mission erasing all other memories,
only with the purpose in mind.....
Your explanation is based solely on belief, but it sounds nice.

Why is it called "Danfo"?

We call it "tro tro" in Ghana because back in the colonial days, the fare was 3 pence (tro).
FamilyRe: Divorce Settlement And Child-Support Be Introduced In Nigeria? by Abrantie: 1:45pm On Jan 15, 2013
pro01: See these ones misplacing their priorities. The laws are there already, of course - as are many other ceremonial laws that are barely worth the paper they are printed on. It's just that everyone realises how unimportant such issues are - in comparison with more pressing issues in a third world hell-hole like Nigeria. That's why implementation would never be taken seriously in this generation, or even in the next.

You want to be like "civilised" societies with regard to divorce settlement when your country is far from civilised in the more important areas of development, economy, rule of law, working systems, basic infrastructure, human rights, etc. Oyinbo people achieved these basics first, and filled their stomachs until food started dropping from their mouths to the ground, before proceeding to 'peripheral' issues such as divorce settlement and all such secondary, and arguably unrealistic, aspects of law.

Nonetheless, the rapacious females salivating at the prospect of reaping where they did not sow (by, e.g. receiving billion-Naira settlements from politicians) are at liberty to continue dreaming. After all, not even in Hitler's totalitarian regime were citizens deprived of the right to dream.
I bow to you SIR!

How appropriate that you mentioned "totalitarianism". Are you aware that feminism itself was modeled after communism? Even the US Family law, especially as it pertains to divorce and child support was copied from communist Russia.

FamilyRe: Should He Fight For Custody Of His Kids?? by Abrantie: 12:51am On Jan 15, 2013
logica: If you've ever played the game of chess before, you will know there are certain moves after which no other moves you make can prevent loss/certain doom. They call such a move a blunder. The best you can do is prolong the game by making good moves; but then the game is lost anyway.

He made a blunder marrying your cousin in the first place (as judging from the description of your cousin, she doesn't sound like a woman any sane man should marry, date or even have a fling with for that matter). It's as simple as that. He simply cannot recover from that blunder, and any other bad move will simply hasten his ultimate doom. He has made a good move to stay in the game (staying away from her and their kids). Fighting for custody will lead to a quick checkmate.
This wise man gets it.

This whole thing is a game with biased rules. One side wants the game to continue, the other doesn't. So why is the decision not to play eliciting such a strong opposition?
FamilyRe: Should He Fight For Custody Of His Kids?? by Abrantie: 4:52pm On Jan 14, 2013
Sisi_Kill: David no one can say what you have stated makes no sense. . .It does. What many of us have an issue with is the fact that it seems like he hasn't tried to fight at all . . .he doesn't even have a lawyer!! He is just allowing his wife and her lawyer run roughshod over him.
After 13 pages, you're still posting this drivel.

He doesn't feel like doing sh1t and his ex-wife can go hang herself. That I think is his game plan, and it's a darn good one too. He gets to self-preserve and ignore the b!tch at the same time.
