CultureRe: 15 Weird Laws Around The World by Abrantie: 10:44pm On Jan 26, 2013
chreld_b: Here's one weird and interesting law in the UK that I just found out yesterday out of curiosity. I used to see ducks and swans walking around in the UK like say dem self na citizen. dem go de even de chance human being for road self. I started wondering e be like say these animals no know say dem be better meat for human beings o! Especially the swans, they are the size and even bigger than turkeys. Me I know say if that kind tin de happen for 9ja those animals for don go extinct 50 years ago. Anyways I asked google and aparently the answer I got was that the reason swans are referred to as majestic animals is because they literally all belong the her majesty the queen of England. So a law was passed criminalising the hunting and eating of swan meat punishable by death sometime in the 17th century. The interesting thing is that the law and its punishment has not been modified till date. Sometimes I go just de look all those animals de talk for mind say if only una de 9ja una for hear am for inside pot cheesy.
My guy, in the US it is squirrels. Those rodents dey all over the place and I'm sure their meat tastes like grasscutter.

My honest opinion -- Zambia didn't deserve that penalty. As much as I get a good feeling whenever Nigeria loses or comes up short, this particular one doesn't feel so good. I don't know why.

boron10: Eyah, this is certainly the wrong time for you to make this post. Your common sense should have allowed you to wait till after Ghana's match before spewing this your unwarranted rubbish.
Is it the right time yet? Hahahahahahahahaha grin

I predict it will be very quiet in Lagos around 6:00PM tomorrow.

kushbab: Some samples taken from me shows that my 'dad' is not my biological father so i need to know if the mouth swab is a reliable way of determining DNA. I need responses from matured minds please. Thanks.
Saliva is a good source of DNA. The test was correct unless they goofed up at the lab and switched the samples.

Foreign AffairsRe: Mali Intervention Force - Ghana Army Chickens Out by Abrantie: 11:53pm On Jan 22, 2013
Rossikk: Nigeria, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Niger, and Guinea are contributing forces to the Nigerian-led West African intervention force in northern Mali, leading some analysts to question the glaring absence of GHANA from the force.
You always get a hard-on for Ghana, don't you? Too bad she's already married. grin

Limaoscar: In this competition so far, I have seen the Agony of defeat,
I have seen the cruelty of 4mins added time,
I have seen the woefulness of Strikers,
I have seen the futility of ball possession,
I have seen the benefit of staying your grounds in the face of adversity
You said it well.

ypzilanti: Nice. We need high speed internet at cheap rates in Lagos to drive commerce and business internet fraud business. Good payment solutions and courier services. Lagos State government should start thinking in the line of creating an agency to monitor and regulate e-commerce services internet fraud within Lagos so as to boost confidence.

SportsRe: The Price For Live Transmission Of AFCON Was High - Maku by Abrantie: 6:35pm On Jan 22, 2013
str8_talk: If smaller countries like Ghana & Benin are being charged €2m,then itz wise for Nigeria to pay €1m,because we have d market & population.
Shouldn't it be the other way around?

They are charging based on the number of people that would consume their product. Look at this way, about 7 Ghanas makes 1 Nigeria (population-wise). So the price quote for Nigeria should be equivalent to 7 times that quoted for Ghana.
SportsRe: Cote D'ivoire , Tunisia, Algeria . Togo - AFCON 2013 Group D by Abrantie: 4:59pm On Jan 22, 2013
What surprised me was how Togo maintained their cool and out-played CIV even after going down 1 in the early minutes.

We shall see how part 2 plays out. Interesting and free-flowing match.

lekibraky: what are we going to enjoy as a citizen if Ordinary Ghana is showing it live for its citizens. still on the matter 2015 PDP must go naani
So after continuous bragging about how Lagos state's economy alone was bigger than Ghana's, you mean to tell me that even Lagos can't afford to pick up the transmission tab on behalf of Nigeria?

Even Benin and Togo are broadcasting the matches live!
