PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is Indeed The Giant Of Africa by Abrantie: 12:50am On Jun 15, 2009
We are having growing pains in Ghana (Accra to be exact) because Naija crews done move in with 1500 watt air conditioners, switched on 24/7 like say they commot from Iceland. Due to that, transformers in part of the city are overloaded or blown up. They are currently being replaced to higher capacity ones. Our government recently ordered utility providers to increase service provisioning and customer satisfaction. It may not be speedy, but it will be done because we have the system in place to address such issues.

My village enjoys 24/7 electricity with rare interruptions.

PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Really The Gaint Of Africa? by Abrantie: 8:54pm On Jun 13, 2009
I thought I was too hard on Nigeria, but damn, this thread makes me not feel so guilty.

Come on people, take it easy on your own country. Nija is the giant brother of Africa who we all love to hate.

I see nothing wrong with this thread. He came on a forum and asked a legitimate question. Why the hate?

I did not expect u to answer the questions. You call d questions silly because the answers are obvious.
Look into the mirror bros and get real. You better move around.Try and gain access to real corporate info.
Nigeria to the business world is crap. plain and simple.Do you know how many multinationals that are using Ghana as
a west african hub for their business. I bet u don't. I work in one of them. The only viable resource of interest in Nigeria is OIL
and that oneself is katakata.

@ yeswecan
The real reason why we are been hated across Africa is the dominating factor we move along with

On what planet do uuu live? Do you know how many nigerians are languishing in Norh africa in order to cross over? Majority of them are illegals
Are u talking about the naijas in South africa selling drugs? THAT IS WHAT NAIJA IS DOMINATING

Yes we have law abiding ones but in proportion to the bad eggs. The facts are well known. You guys need to get out more and see what is going on
naijas are now calling themselves dominicans because of this image factor. u take ur green pali to tunsia, Egypt, SA, Bostwana, Morrocco, and let us see how dominating u are. African gaint my arse.

naija banks setting shop in ghana - doing what? - money transfer abi? bull. what benefits are the nigeria entrepeneurs getting from them. Are they there to aid the naijas in Ghana or just some smart arse guys setting up shop to make a buck.

GT BANK is now in the Uk - Their banks accounts are the most expensive to run in the UK. and you naijas will be Commending them.
Ghana has created an enviroment that is Conducive to foreigners to invest which include nigerians. This should be the other way round.
Nigeria should be what USA is to North and South America. A MAGNET.

This is the reason why the Western world still call us developing world- We fail to develop our mentality. Most of the business we have are opportunist ventures trying to make a fast one. No innovation. Just copy cat business enterprises with no solid exectution.

Check out the chinese, they are also well travelled. are u talking about drugs, they do it in tonnes. Is it Counterfeiting - they too are good at it
do they have the same general reputation like naija- NO because they have upgraded-

Naija DOMINATING AFRICA Undecided MY ARSE Angry

Baba Fela knew what he was talking about when he sang LOOKU LOOKU Shocked

PoliticsRe: Fashola Moves Against Landlords by Abrantie: 9:39pm On May 21, 2009
I like this your Fashola guy o. The proposal is actually brilliant. I wonder if this could work in Ghana too, where we have 2-3 years ass-raping advance leases (but lately, I've been seeing 1 yr).

Shesi laid out his argument very well. Couldn't have said it any better.

One thing that really gets my goat is how Nigerians always tout land size, population and economy as proof of their superiority. Well duh! The more mouths to feed, the bigger the farm needs to be. Secondly, in this thread, I sensed some prejudices based on skin color. It seems Nigerians would rather compare themselves to East Asians or South Africa (with a sizable number of non-Black Africans) than Ghana. Let me say this again, loud and clear -- FVCK ALL YOU DIRTY NIGERIANS. You are no better than any West African. Geopolitical boundaries, established at the Berlin Conference by a bunch of White men, doesn't change your DNA. You are black just like us Ghanaians, and with big fat lips to boot. Please get off your pedestal fvckin bitches!

Fvck off. Where they write say only Nija man fit philosophize for NL? You no get sense?

Ok, back to my beef. See, Kwame Nkrumah started building infrastructure. He had big dreams, like super highways from Ghana all through West Africa and beyond (Accra/Tema motorway was probably the start). He even had plans for a nuclear power station in the country, and we're talking about the 1950/60s! But no, Ghana man just want food for im belly. African people no dey understand sacrifice. We want it now, and we want it fast. Me, me, me, me,  now, now, now.

50+ years later, Tema motorway, a mere 16 km (10 miles), is still intact and considered a national icon. Makes you wonder, what if Nkrumah had managed to build it further (partnered with neighboring countries). How would that have catapulted the whole west Africa?

Sometimes, Africans just have to let their leaders do what they were elected to do. Accounting go come later.

Support your Lagos Governor.

Why do you complain because your government is spending money on INFRASTRUCTURE? Would you prefer they swindle the money into Swiss bank accounts instead? Nigerians fool o. Meanwhile you dey ran come Ghana because electric no dey and your roads bad. Ghanaians don't complain when our government is building roads. This just shows the selfishness of some Nigerians. You don't care about the future of your nation.
FoodRe: Assorted Driinks by Abrantie: 3:49am On May 19, 2009

Fvck Nigerians. You are all viruses, a bunch off losers and cowards. I didn't have to go far on this site to see how citizens could allow themselves to be continuously gang raped for years, and still think it's normal. Yeah, bitches and wimps, don't cross my path in Ghana because I'll let you have it.
