I received an interview invite a week b4 d interview day, I had rigorous preparation for basic interview questions, majorly bank related questions.

The first stage of the interview was successful because I was able to answer all the questions from the interviewers. Some of us were selected and we were told to wait for the second stage of the interview.

I was called for the second stage to meet with the top executives, was told to introduce myself and i did, another question was asked (what do you know about the financial institution?) and I lost my confidence and courage, I started talking about budget and revenue, GDP and national income. . I bleeped up, i was able to answer other questions successfully but not enough to land me the job.

I prepared for the major interview questions but unable to get the job because I didn't prepare for the on the job-related questions.
