There is nothing wrong in unbelievers throwing stones at the church and its leadership but where there is a problem is wen fellow believers are caught up in the web of deceptions from the enemies of the gospel and end up being led astray nd blaspheme..
Jesus told peter, "upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it".. He didn't say the gates of hell shall not try but that they shall not prevail. They will keep trying but the church would move forward still.. My sincere concern and advise to ppl of God is that they shouldn't join forces with the gates of hell. Fr me I live on budget, I like my phone lasting up to 3years min, I bought iPhone 6plus 2014 and I used it till this year I got iphone 8 and I hope to use it till 2020, I'm not into those buying phones yearly habit. Why are we so eager to discourage people from paying tithes. Why not allow people make and take decisions themselves. Why outrightly condem tithing because you don't support it or don't believe in it. Bro, the effect of the anti tithe movement becoming evident in some churches, I heard a man of God complaining last week that there was about 65% drop in tithe in the last couple of months, he attributed the drop to the social media report which I believe is true, reorientation is now the next thing on the agenda according to him. the point is, only few are actually paying with willing and pure mind while the majority appears to be paying out of fear induced by some pastors.

Where is it written in the bible that tithe is meant for the congregation walfare. Your basis of write up shows you don't have a little understanding of God and His word.
1. Tithes are solely for the levites. Which in spiritual communities, the full time pastors or ministers.
2. Baba Adeboye has nothing to correct because he takes instructions from no man but the one that called him and he has nothing t do with others calling, by telling them what to do. Bible is all Christians constitution but with less constitution phrase and more of decree because we are soldiers of the cross.
3. Someone quoted you by calling you a rccg pastor, I think that fellow is completely 100% wrong, rccg pastors knows the commandments and we adhere to it strictly, if we get to heaven and God said its not so, we got nothing to lose. We takes nothing to heaven anyway.
Tithes is not a compulsory thing for everybody, how they spend it is not my business. My duty is to obey His commandments that's all.
Don't try to fight for God and go to hell. God has never put the rebuke of His servants into any man's hand. He will defend them from assault or insult no matter their sin. Better tread the ground carefully not to end up where you are cautioning men not to go to.

Why won't he get more followers. If you see the way he constructs his criticism in a very polite manner. He add zero sentiments and back it up with the scriptures. He makes you see the truth for yourself not compelling you to accept the truth..how can a suppose man of God come out and start ordering your Sheeples not to listen to anything against tithing, without you even showing a verse in the Bible. God bless you. This is my own understanding of tithes also in deut. It should be welfare of the church, not for a single pastor to divert into his account and give crumbs of it to the poor. Tithes today are for pastors to get richer, this is sad and the more it continues the more the xtianity suffers. Today, whether we accept it or not, Freeze is getting more followers and even a lot of people are deciding on their own to hold their own tithe or give to the poor themselves.

Why will pastor go to hell because of tithe?
Tithe is meant for church member’s welfare
Tithes are not meant for church building or to buy cars not even for evangelism but members’ welfare.
Pastor that collect tithe and send it to church headquarters be it RCCG, Cananland, Deeper life etc or any church headquarter are looting the church branch storehouse.
Tithes are meant for church branch member’s welfare
If you are involved in the transfer of tithes to church headquarters stop it and headquarter should stop requesting for our tithes, church branches are not business center but church.
Offering may be transferred to headquarters for general use but not our tithes

Every church must have stephen unit (as in the days of apostles) to manage the tithe in the welafare pulse.

Why will branch pastors personal prayers may not be answered?
Anytime a church member goes home hungry , Unclad or homeless because the tithe has been transferred to the headquarter , pastor in the church branches are forced to close their ears to the cry of the poor because the tithe that supposed to be available for welfare has been taking to the church headquarter (scripture cannot be broken)

Why are christians revoking against tithe today?
