I really don't understand what is wrong with Christians. If Muslims dress well, they call them ninjas or uncivilized. If they don't dress well like Zahra buhari, they say we are hypocrites. Please let us be oo. We are humans and we are vulnerable at times. Now the ladies in these posts are trying to appear a bit decent and the Christians are castigating them that they are hypocrites. One even said he has slept with an Egyptian before. I know say na wetin dey hungry una. To Bleep Muslim girl then come hear dey brag. They're plenty loosed Muslim girls likewise there re plenty decent ones. Period. |
In a major turn of events, Milan has been sold to a ‘new’ Chinese consortium. The preliminary has been signed with the new group. It’s the end of an era. After over a year of drama, negotiations and delays it has finally happened – but not without one final twist. It has been officially confirmed today that Silvio Berlusconi has signed the preliminary agreement with a group of Chinese businesspersons but – as it turns out – it’s not the group represented by Salvatore Galatioto and Nicholas Gancikoff. Instead it’s a different consortium made up of people who were originally in the Galatioto group but departed from it to make their own bid to take over Milan. A bid which has been accepted by Berlusconi, who is set to leave Milan after 30 years. Fininvest, Milan’s holding company, released a statement confirming everything, also revealing he names of the Chinese investors along with some other very important details regarding the deal: “Mr. Silvio Berlusconi, Chairman of AC Milan, has approved the preliminary contract signed by Mr. Danilo Pellegrino, C.E.O. of Fininvest, and Mr. Han Li, representative of a group of Chinese investors, concerning the purchase of the entire stake owned by Fininvest in AC Milan equal to 99.93%. “The investors operate through the management company Sino-Europe Sports Investment Management Changxing Co. Ltd. It consists, among others of, Haixia Capital, the State Development & Investment Corporation (“SDIC”), and Yonghong Li, Chairman of the management company and main sponsor of the investor group and with whom Fininvest has been negotiating for some time until today’s signing (“signing”). Alongside Haixia Capital and Yonghong Li, other investors will acquire shares of AC Milan, some of which are State-controlled entities. Among those investors are companies active in the financial industry and others in industrial sectors. Photo by Marco Luzzani/Getty Images “The binding contract between the parties will be completed by the end of 2016 (“closing”), subject to the obtaining of applicable authorizations from the Italian and Chinese authorities. The agreement values AC Milan at € 740 million with an estimated indebtedness of approx. € 220 million. The agreement requires the acquirers to undertake significant capital increases and liquidity injections aimed at strengthening AC Milan’s financial structure, for a total amount of €350 million over a three-year period (€100 million is to be paid – in at the “closing”). The agreement also requires the acquirers to make a €100 million deposit, confirming the commitments assumed, of which €15 million is payable upon signing and €85 million within 35 days of signing. “During the entire negotiation process, the signature of the contract and the undertakings assumed thereby, Fininvest has always had as a priority the objective which was clearly stated by Mr. Berlusconi: to provide AC Milan, through an appropriate ownership structure, with greater financial resources now more essential for competing with the top football clubs of the world. @acmilan.com “In connection with the transaction, the Chinese investors have been assisted by Rothschild & Co. as financial advisor and Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners as legal advisor, whereas Fininvest has been assisted by Lazard and BNP Paribas as financial advisor and Chiomenti as legal advisor.” Silvio Berlusconi has been the owner of Milan since 1986, taking them from near bankruptcy to the absolute top of the world. Admitting that he can no longer take care of Milan, he is – finally – selling. I wonder why it hasn't been on FP. This is a major football club loved by fans. http://www.rossoneriblog.com/2016/08/05/milan-sold-a-chinese-consortium-to-buy-99-93-percent-of-the-club-for-e740m-the-preliminary-has-been-officially-signed-the-closing-by-the-end-of-2016/ |

KashyBaby:I think beards are natural to men as menstruation is natural to women. Only that there are different kinds of beard like there are different kinds of menstruating women. So will it be prudent if a man says a menstruating woman is a turn off? |
Some years back our economics department president mismanaged the money we gave him. I now asked him if ordinary 10000 or 15000 or even 20000 would make him steal what if he becomes the CBN governor tomorrow? What will he do? Some group of law students went to see the governor of jigawa state and he gave them 200000 naira so the president ( a lady) gave them (just 6 of them) 5000 each and she squandered the remaining. Tomorrow she'll become SAN what will she do when people like saraki hires her? Zamfara state governor came to our school then and gave his student union 800000 thousand. The president removed a whooping 350000 for himself, vice collected 200000 and the rest was mismanaged. I guess even our leaders that are stealing now started stealing when they were young too maybe as class reps etc... |

So of all the Muslims girls around me it's a Christian girl I would go and kidnap? We have many girls here in the wanting to get married so why would a Muslim go and kidnap a Christian? If it's true, shame on them (Muslims) of its a lie, shame on them (punch). |
Where is the electric car he said he was going to be driving as a senator during his silverbird man of the year award? |
I live in kaduna and Zaria. This people are always blocking roads anytime their day for sorrow arrives. This time, they tried it with an army general and got what they deserved. Even a governor, King, emir, chairman, community ruler doesn't dare to pass come to talk of ordinary me and you? In the video, Col Sani was begging them to let them pass in Hausa and they were telling him to call his commander (only God knows who) on the phone and explain. Col Sani said which commander are you talking of when already we have the coas in the vehicle? That's to show you, these guys don't understand protocol. They're crystally blinded. |
Mushood:Some are already spewing the trash. I really don't understand what I wrong with non Muslims. You'll never see a Muslim posting in a Christianity thread except if the thread involves Islam which is when they'll do it intelligently. But in the contrary, non Muslims are always looking for trouble in Islamic threads. |
Fulaboy:From your description, maybe you're referring to 1. Adel Kalbani 2. Mahir al muaiqiliy 3. Abdullah Jabir. |
jordyspices:Like I said earlier, I do patronize SMEs of 1gb for 1200, 2gb for 2300 but I saw this to be cheaper that was why I fell for it. Obviously, I was wrong. |
Sugarhugs:You are probably right. It might be greed. But should it warrant him to go away with my money cuz I'm greedy? |
mrbyron:Are you serious? That means the probability of seeing this topic on FP is minimal. I opened this thread so others will be wary of him. |
Hello blessed nairalanders. I was going through posts on this forum a while back and I came across a post with a picture (at the bottom) advertising data bundles and their prices so I became interested. Suffice it to say, I do patronize SMEs vendors for 1gb at #1200, 2gb at 2300, etc. but this advert came with the prices: 4gb at #1500 8gb at #2500 12gb at 3500 16gb at 4500 That was what ignited my blood and it’s a pay after delivery service. I downloaded the picture to my phone and checked to see if there is a mobile number, bingo!!! I placed a call to the vendor/fraudster, he picks: Vendor/fraudster: hello Me: hi, please I want to buy a data plan of 8gb at 2500 Vendor/fraudster: ok, but its now 2000 at 8gb Me: ok cool, how do we transact? Vendor/fraudster: simple, I send you the plan, you send me the money/airtime, I send you the activation pin. Me: ok, fine. Send it. Call ends After few minutes, I saw a message from data services saying: Dear customer, you have received 8024.0mb in your shared data bundle. Expires on 29/04/2016 17:51. Dial *131*2*4# Immediately, I became curious and dialed the number from the last statement and it told me to enter pin. So I thought it’ll be the pin he’ll send me. I transferred him 2000 using share and sell. He called me and said I should dial *406*my number*recharge pin#. I asked him which pin and he said recharge card of 400. He asked my type of phone and I said iPhone 5, then he said the recharge pin should be #750 and that I’ll still make use of the card later on after activation. I was initially curious but became relived after his last statement. I bought the 750 card and dialed the number but it said network error even after numerous times. I called him back and told him, he asked, did I try it again? I said yes, several times. He said let him put on his laptop and check, he’ll call me. After several minutes, he called and said I should send it via text that he’ll do it on-net. I said okay, then he ends the call. I was initially skeptical but decided to give him the doubt benefit and I sent it as text. He called immediately and said I should give him 30 minutes before it works. It was already time for prayers since I’m Muslim, I went to the mosque and came back after 1 hour. I called him and he didn’t pick, I tried it several times and he didn’t respond. That was when I realized he has duped me. I sent him a text message saying “I’m sorry to have trusted you. I was supposed to apply for a job online using the subscription. But instead, you ditched me. I know you won’t pick my call again, but I would really appreciate it if u send me back the 750 so I can manage it. Thanks”. Sent it After few seconds, I received a message from 777 reading my account has been credited with 750. He called me and said “I hope that will be okay? I said yes and thanks. He replied “you are welcome” ends call. Was I lucky? So many fraudsters in Nigeria. And to think of it that most of these fraudsters are graduates hoping to get employed by the government someday. If one can defraud people of just #2000 airtime, What if tomorrow he becomes NCC chairman? What will he do? God save us. His mobile number is 08130388174. Find proofs below. Pic 1: The advert i first saw on nairaland from a post. Can't remember the topic or the person who posted it Pic 2: Message from data services. I think he used bulk SMS Pic 3: Messages from his mobile number and mine Pic 4: Messages from 777 (share nd sell) from we both. Mods could help send this to frontpage.

That's my home town. My cousin married recently and he paid 150000 as bride price alone. His total expenses was almost 2 million. 3 weeks into the marriage, the brides brother came visiting and stole his car . But it was later found after 1 month. If I'm to pay that amount, then the lady must be perfect, during the marriage stay. That is no mistake, no nagging. Etc. Btw: I'm getting marrie in less that a year. Let's see how much they'll demand as bride price. A girl from mubi town Adamawa. |
Eligible young women in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, are worried that the continued stay of single girls in the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps is threatening their chances of getting married as many potential suitors are abandoning them for those in the IDP camps for a variety of reasons. Some of the girl that spoke to Daily Trust, who call themselves ‘city girls’, said all the girls in the IDP camps are villagers who want to relocate to the city that is why they are offering themselves cheaply to men, referring to low bride prices and other costs attached to marriage in the region. Most of them, wearing long faces, lamented that men who have dated prospective brides for years have abandoned them for others in the IDP camps, who accept impromptu marriage proposals from men they do not know very well, for the promise of a life away from the camps. Most of the ‘city girls’ told Daily Trust that they will not crash the prices of their dowry from the usual N150,000 on the average to the N10,000 being paid for brides at the IDP camps, maintaining that they are refined, polished and have qualities that the girls in the IDP do not. Falmata Bashir Modu, 23, is awaiting admission into the University of Maiduguri and said the girls in the IDP camps are actually a threat to single girls in the city, because most men want low-cost marriages are finding comfort there, adding, “When someone whispered to me that the guy proposing to marry my childhood friend is abandoning her for an IDP bride, I could not believe it. But it happened, just because he could not afford N500,000 to N1 million. He went for a rustic bride who I’m sure cannot even cook well.” But Aisha Mustafa, 22, and a student of University of Maiduguri said if it is just the cost of dowry that will make her miss her suitor for another girl, she is ready to convince her parents to reduce the money to a bearable amount. “I cannot afford to miss someone I love because of bride price. I’m not for sale. There is a minimum amount fixed by Islam as dowry and I do not mind asking for that, once the love and understanding is there. What I want is to enjoy my marriage with a man I love,” she said. Maimuna, a student of Sir Kashim Ibrahim College of Education, Maiduguri, said she will not reduce her dowry. “It is a matter of sitting him down and telling him the advantages of going for the best. I am sure he will understand,” she said. Maimuna’s friend, also a student of the same College of Education, who declined to identify herself, said: “I’m aware that some men went to IDP camps and paid N5,000 or N10,000 and got brides. They rush for the IDPs because they do not have to buy clothes and other traditional requirements. It’s disturbing and something needs to be done immediately.” But 40-year-old widow Inna Usman said the IDP girls are only a threat to other girls who are desperate to marry. “Since my husband died, I have not been keen on remarriage. I am facing my business now. The IDP girls are posing a challenge to ‘city girls’ and the men are not willing to budge.” Fatima Musa is a student of a secondary school in Gwoza, and she escaped to Maiduguri, where she is staying with her parents. She said the issue of bride price is a matter that only parents can address and that IDPs are entitled to marry. “I don’t see any reason why men should not ask for their hands in marriage.” 18-year-old Zainab Adamu of the University of Maiduguri said she blames the men for the situation. “Any man who abandons the girl he has proposed to for one with supposedly less economical cost does not know what he wants,” she said. She added that the rate at which men troop to IDP camps in a rush to secure brides is alarming. “I think it is time for government to relocate them back to their various communities so that everybody will rest,” she said. Zainab Auwal, 27, said she is not afraid of the IDP girls taking over her suitor because she is educated and her suitor is only interested in educated fine girl like her and not a girl that is willing to give out herself in marriage so cheap. 24-year-old Hauwa Abubakar, also a student, said a friend’s sister lost her suitor to an IDP girl. “He complained of high bride price and before we realised it, he had married an IDP bride.” Miss Grace, a student of the University of Maiduguri, told Daily Trust that there are educated and non-educated girls both in the IDP camps and among the so-called city girls. “The fact is, the IDPs are less-demanding because they’re eager for new lives away from the camps. And the demands of the city girls are crazy, as far as asking for N500,000 and above.” Asma’u Suleiman, a student of Sir Kashim Ibrahim College of Education, Maiduguri, said her friend who is also a student of the same institution lost her suitor to an IDP girl after four years courtship. “I know my friend does not pay much attention to him whenever he raised the issue of marriage, but it was too harsh of him to have abandoned her for the IDP. I was told that the IDP girl used to visit him on campus, cook for him and wash his clothes. The next thing we heard was that they got married,” she said. On their own part, the men who spoke to Daily Trust said moderate dowries are not the only factors causing them to go after the girls in the IDP camps. Alhaji Fannami Marte said he married his second wife from the IDP camp two months ago, not just because it was easy on his pockets. “Maiduguri girls have no time for their suitors during courtship and they tend to be full of themselves. It is either she is busy at home or attending to her parents. I need enough time with the girl I want to marry so that I can understand her very well. The single girls in the IDP camps give time and attention. Some of them are even more beautiful and intelligent than the so-called city girls,” he said. Marte had accompanied a friend to an IDP camp, where he met a girl. “She is beautiful and the smile on her face attracted me and we got talking. In three weeks, we got married and without stress. Yes, she might have been born in a village but she can fit in even in London,” he said. Kyari Modu, a civil servant, said he has witnessed the marriages of seven of his friends to IDPs in various camps in Maiduguri so far, but is yet to marry one. “Only two of the seven men paid a dowry of N10,000 each. All others paid N5,000 each and they are all living in peace. It’s love that matters.” Bana Alhaji Kyari is a trader at Bolori market in Maiduguri and he married recently from an IDP camp. “I married a beautiful woman, with good character. All my neighbours envy me.” Kyari told Daily Trust that he spent a total of N14,500 for the marriage instead of the N300,000 he would have spent on a bride from Maiduguri. “If I have my way, all men should go to IDP camps and marry. They’re the best,” he said. Maryam Isa Bulama is an IDP and she told Daily Trust that a date has been fixed for her wedding and does not care if her husband-to-be left any city girl for her. She said: “It is not right - and downright cruel - for anyone to say that IDPs are rustic or illiterates. I am a graduate of Sociology and there are girls here with Masters degrees. We are victims of insurgency, and it could happen to anyone. Going by the UN definition of a city, Maiduguri is not even qualified to be one, even if it is bigger than Bama where I come from.” She added that women are not for sale, “Whatever circumstance they may find themselves.” http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/why-grooms-are-rushing-for-idp-brides/111479.html |

. But it was later found after 1 month.
