Business / The Most Dangerous Words To Avoid If You Want Nigeria To Grow by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 10:43pm On Jul 29, 2023
How You Can Make Nigeria Great Again

One thing that the most prosperous nations on Earth have in common is that their citizens speak positively about their countries. And that is very important. It has both spiritual and natural consequences.

Spiritually, positive speaking releases blessings, and negative speech attracts curses.

In the natural, when you speak positively about your country, the collective testimonies of citizens will resonate globally, and your nation is likelier to attract foreign investment, and the citizens are more motivated to develop their GDP.

You may sometimes hear Americans, Britons, Canadians, and continental Europeans speak negatively about their leaders, but it is almost anathema for them to speak derogatorily about their countries.

And such positivity about their countries permeates every facet of their national life.

It is the same phenomenon in sports. By cheering your team, you increase the likelihood that they will succeed and emerge victorious.

You don't wait for your country to be ideal before you speak well of her. No. You speak well of your country, and your nation will become what you say of her.

With this in mind, let us learn to speak positively about Nigeria. It will have physical and spiritual benefits for Nigeria.

And I can prove it to you.

If you take Nigeria as six geopolitical zones, you will agree with me that the Southwest of Nigeria is the zone where residents are most likely to speak positively about their region and their people.

If that is the case, do you think it is a coincidence that the Southwest is also the most peaceful and prosperous part of Nigeria, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, and the World Bank?

Scripture says, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people"-Proverbs 14:34.

One of the most elementary and quotidian forms of righteousness is right speaking. This is why Scripture again says, 'A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth'-Proverbs 13:2.

Additionally, prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said in the Hadith of Faith as follows, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak goodness or remain silent."

You cannot keep saying, 'Nigeria is finished', 'Nigeria jaga jaga', 'Make I japa from this useless country', etc, and expect Nigeria to yield good to you. You are poisoning the atmosphere over you and making it difficult for goodness to penetrate.

Look at the region where the most insult and abuse come from. What is their reality? Is it peaceful or economically progressive?

Words are powerful. They are not empty. Once spoken, they do not return void. Words are like electricity. They are invisible but contain great creative power to affect your outcomes and reality. Scientists at the UC Davis MIND Institute have established that our subconscious mind finds ways to manifest what it hears into reality.

What is coming out of your mouth about Nigeria? Whatever it is, it will affect you more than your leaders, because those leaders have a greater capacity than you to fly out of Nigeria to escape the consequences of our negative words. So you better make it good.

Do you know one of the most popular phrases in America? Please Google it. It is 'God bless America'.

To the best of my knowledge, one of the most common phrases in Nigeria is 'useless country' or 'yeye country'. Am I lying? No, seriously, am I lying?

Even if you don't like Nigeria's leaders, you can attack them. But don't wait for Nigeria to be good before you speak well of her. Speak well of Nigeria, and she will be good.
Nairaland / General / Here Are 3 Lessons I Learned From Many Failed Attempts by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 7:08pm On Jul 26, 2023
→ Lesson 1:
Everything Is Hard At First Attempt.

Think about it, the first time you tried writing.
swimming.
or riding a bicycle..

It's first hard
before it becomes simple.

I said "simple".. not easy.

Nothing good comes easy

You just have to keep grinding..
try consistently until it becomes easy to you.

____

→ Lesson 2:
See Failure As Feedback.

Failure is not fatal.
I used to feel bad when I missed my script.
I'd cancel it all and start all over again.

Give yourself the liberty to fail.
It simply means you didn't get it right before.

Now try again.
And again.
Till you get it right.

____

→ Lesson 3:
Document The Journey.

In the final analysis..
your documented experiences become CONTENT.

After many takes..
I kept the parts I got right and retake the parts I missed until we got it all right.

The lessons we pick along the journey become our story.

Our unique message.
Our unique selling point.

____

It's not so much about productivity hacks as much as the mindset.

If you get these 3 lessons right
you'll always find yourself productive
no matter how many pitfalls
life throws at you.

Which of these lessons resonated with you the most?

Business / Shocking Lesson From UNCLE Musa. by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 4:46pm On Jul 25, 2023
After living in the United States for 40 years and at the age of 70, Uncle Musa finally relocated to Salagie, The Gambia this year to live in his 5-bedroom house which took him 10 years to complete.

Now in Gambia and in his house, Uncle Musa lives in the living room of the house downstairs while his caretaker lives upstairs in his huge master bedroom.

This is because Uncle Musa cannot climb the stairs without the help of another person.

Even with help, it takes him 10 minutes to make the climb.

As such, Uncle Musa has decided to stay downstairs in the living room as all 5 bedrooms are upstairs.

The house has a living room, toilet and kitchen downstairs; 3 rooms on the first floor and another 2 rooms (including the master bedroom) on the second/last floor.

This is surely not how Uncle Musa anticipated his retirement.

But that is the reality of his journey.

This will be the life of many other Africans living abroad and building mansions back home.

In fact, if you are building a dream house for yourself to live in and the house is not ready by the time you attain the age of 50, forget about it!

Uncle Musa virtually wasted 40 years of his life doing menial jobs abroad, hoping to go and retire back home in his mansion and enjoy life.

But, now he has no life to enjoy and someone else is sleeping in his master bedroom.

Like most aged persons, Uncle Musa is not even able to enjoy a bottle of Malt at his age because it will shoot up his blood sugar level.

Yet, he said he was working hard all his life in order to enjoy life, which includes eating and drinking the finest foods and drinks, when he retires.

Now, he is only able to eat fruit and vegetable salads - and even that, without dressing!

He cannot even eat any of the fine meats out there without his cholesterol sending warning signs.

That is the life of Uncle Musa in retirement?

This will be the story of more than half of us.

The best thing to do is to take mini-retirements now and enjoy the luxuries of life now that you still have the strength to do so!

We must all learn a lesson from the story of Uncle Musa.

Business / This Can Save You A Life Time Trouble, Don't Neglect Please. by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 6:45pm On Jul 19, 2023
Delight who is a business guru, a "Tech sis", always on her devices coding, closing deals and making her cool cash is a typical description of YOUNG MONEY MACHINE (YMM).

When you talk about true diligence and consistency at work, you would probably want to mention Delight, she can stay a full day working without eating or doing any other thing.

She never fails to deliver a clean job to her client, meets up with every deadlines even when she has several jobs to do.

But the only thing wrong with Delight is that, she's never available for other life activities.

She believes there's no time for other things,

❌ She never has time to Pray
❌ No exercises
❌ She neglects her health
❌ She feeds on junks.

🤔🤔What do you think will happen to Delight on the long run?

She will definitely have plenty of money, BUT!...

PLEASE;That you want to give yourself over to your work(Finances) should not disintegrate your interest to develop other aspects of your life.

Tech bro,Tech sis, what so ever you do to earn a living, you should have a #lifestyle that allows for a balanced growth.

📌plan your time

📌 Pray/Have time for God: you see this right here? I tell you most honestly, I do not joke with it.

your success will not last if you do not have a fellowship with your maker.

A fish out of water will never survive🤷♀️

📌Exercise: This can never be overemphasized.

📌Meditation: Please I want to ask, How do you get inspirations, Counsel and even Understanding on a matter if you do not have the lifestyle of meditating?

📌 Hangout; Time with Family and friends could be the therapy you need to solve some challenges. I can attest to this one😊

You see,if your body falls sick, that your job will not matter to you. So why not balance it up now that you're fine?

Take good care of your SPIRITUAL,PHYSICAL and EMOTIONAL life and not just about your FINANCES.

I'm certainly sure that you want to be alive and healthy to enjoy that money you're working tirelessly to get.

▶️Now I can rest,I have let out my mind.
I'm sure you will take this advice.👂

PS: I have not forgotten the gist I promised to give you concerning a job got. I'll sure do that once it's time😊
Nairaland / General / President Tinubu To Pay ₦8000 To 12 Million Household by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 6:46pm On Jul 13, 2023
The plan by President Tinubu to pay ₦8000 monthly to 12 million households as fuel subsidy removal palliatives is commendable. It gives a human face to the harsh economic necessity of petrol subsidy withdrawal.

But to help our nation grow, I would suggest to the President that he ties the ₦8000 monthly payment to the condition that children in recipient families MUST attend school and have their payment vouchers signed by the principal/headmaster of their school proving that they attended school throughout that month, failure of which they will not be paid.

That way, Nigeria will reduce her current population of 20 million out-of-school children. And it will have an immediate impact on our economy, as educated children tend to be healthier, less likely to engage in terrorism and criminality, and also less likely to be teenage parents.

Furthermore, as a nation, we should not only give fish to people experiencing poverty. We should also teach willing Nigerians how to fish.

I, therefore, recommend to the President that he may want to provide free training and business grants (not loans, but grants) to at least half a million Nigerian youths to enable them to start up verifiable small and medium-scale enterprises. Nigeria's situation is similar to that of the United States of the 1930s, and this was how President FDR Roosevelt empowered Americans through the New Deal.

In that way, the President will help Nigerian youths to help themselves as well as to help Nigeria.

Once again, good job, and kudos to the President. If he, however, does wrong, he should also expect knocks.

Business / What If I Told You That There Is A Hidden Force That Can Make You A Successful by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 4:26pm On Jul 12, 2023
What if I told you that there is a hidden force that can make you a successful leader in any field?

A force that can help you overcome any challenge, achieve any objective, and create any outcome you desire.

Would you be curious?

Or would you be skeptical?

Let me tell you a story.

A story of how I made my first 9 figures in my business using this hidden force.

And how this hidden force can change your life too.

The hidden force is faith.

Faith is the only connection between a person and their divine self.

But faith is not something that you either have or don't have.

Faith is something that you cultivate. Practice. Grow.

The more you grow your faith, the more you increase your chances of success.

How do you grow your faith?

Follow these simple principles:

• Write down your dreams - There is power in writing down your goals. It makes them more accurate and attainable. It also activates your subconscious mind to work on them. Years ago, I wrote myself a check to earn 7 figures, and it became a reality after 9 months!

• Pay attention to your inner dialogue - When you set a goal by faith, there is a gestation period. Don't worry about the "how" but focus on the goal. Just like when you plant a seed. Then, water the seed with positive self-talk. A recent Forbes article talked about how you can talk yourself to success (see link in comments section).

• Follow your inner conviction and inner lead. They often put you on the path of truth - As a leader who has led in different capacities, I've had experiences where I relied on intuition contrary to popular opinion. And every time I did, I was rewarded with excellent results. This is how I made my first 7 figures out of faith.

These are the principles of faith for leadership success.

They have helped me achieve great things in my life and business.

And they can help you achieve great things in your life too.

My concept of faith is the inner appropriation of objective hope.

What will you do if your dream comes true?

Whatever it may be, remain in that state or assumption and be self-persuaded about it.

If you can be loyal to the unseen reality by persistently living in denial of the evidence of your senses, the mental equivalent of what you have inwardly appropriated will materialize.

No force on earth can stop it.

Faith is the belief that something is possible even when no evidence exists.

To be a successful leader, cultivate faith in your own life.

What are your thoughts on the power of faith in leadership? Share your thoughts in the comments below

Jobs/Vacancies / Nothing Hurts Like Seeing Kind People Struggling To Get A Job by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 6:45pm On Jul 04, 2023
May God help you find the right job soon!

The truth is that some of us do not find the 9-5 job paradigm to be attractive, but the educational system instilled in us the mindset of hustling for a few years to achieve excellent marks in school and find a job thereafter

Work, Earn, save & repeat till death.

Despite the fact that I advocate getting a formal education, the school system is set to keep you poor, regardless of how much you disagree.

In 1902, John D. Rockefeller founded the board of education, he quoted "I don't want a nation of thinkers but a nation of workers"

That's pretty messed up

So as you can see, the school system was designed to create more employees who will work for thier employers and make them rich.

And that's why Rockefeller was the first person with the net worth of $1 Billion

If you want to learn how money works and how to launch and run your online or offline business, you must study it on your own

Even without prior experience or qualification, effectively setting up your internet business with the appropriate procedures promises to provide cashflow even while you sleep, just as graduating from college and working a 9–5 job promised to generate revenue for you.

This has been made even simpler by technology.

Around the world, 85% of young people have founded or created internet enterprises that pay them more than a 9–5 job would.

Smart people who already entered the corporate sphere and find it challenging to leave instantly turn their online business into a side business.

The right information made them realize that there are numerous ways to make legal money and be a boss of thier own instead of carrying files around, constantly hearing the question "how many years of experience do you have"? just when they freshly graduated and getting frustrated & eventually despondent.

Just when my Online Business earned me 1 million naira in less than 3 months as a complete beginner, I vowed never to work a 9-5

Alternatively, I should hone my talents, work from home whenever I want, and become my own boss.

Dear job seeker, After spending years in school, I know that it can be exhausting to try to learn and master a skill outside of the educational system, but believe me when I say that 3 to 12 months of consistent work can pay you far more than a 9 to 5 job ever will.

Dear job seeker, thanks to the advent of the digital era, you can now start a business from scratch, become its owner, and perhaps even hire others.

If you've read any of my previous posts, you'd know that all of these are definitely feasible!

I implore you to start by stepping outside of your comfort zone.

I have something mind blowing in the link below 👇, be a part to discover the step by step method on how to begin a profitable online business & exactly how you too can get started from a novice to a pro for free! Only a few slots left.

Nairaland / General / “IT’S PLENTY!!!” (the Untold Story Of Ola Of Lagos) by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 5:54pm On Jul 01, 2023
In early 2019, a young man named Okinwande Waris Olayinka left his village, Owode in Ogun State to move to Lagos in search of greener pastures.

He didn’t have anyone in Lagos and only called a friend he knew called “Ope” when he was already on his way to Lagos, and his friend encouraged him to come.

If only he knew what lay ahead of him.

His friend, Ope, lied to him that he stayed in Ajah, and that he had a house where he could stay.

Ola got to Lagos only to find out that Ope was just a laborer who was squatting in the uncompleted building he was working at.

He decided he would sleep in the uncompleted building with his friend since he had no choice but when it got dark and they were about to go in, the security sent Ola out and that was how he was left stranded with nowhere to sleep.

He took his sack bag and decided to enter a bus heading to Ajah from Ikoyi (where his friend worked and squatted) and inside the bus he heard some laborers talking.

When one of them was about dropping, he came down with him, knelt down and started begging him to let him sleep at his place for the night.

The Good Samaritan agreed, took him home, fed him and allowed him to pass the night at his place.

The next morning, he went back to his friend, Ope who now had lost his work and his squatting spot because he brought Ola.

Together they were homeless, they kept searching for uncompleted buildings to work at, when they did, they begged security to allow them sleep there since they were workers.

After a week working as laborers, Ola applied for a cleaning job in an office space in Ikoyi.

At this point, the security at the uncompleted building where he was squatting was threatening to throw them out as he didn’t want to lose his job.

Ola opened up and told his manager at work that he was homeless and needed a place to stay, the manager promised to help if something comes up.

2 weeks later, a better cleaning job with accommodation came up, they were 25 people that applied, Ola was the only one picked and after a week probation, he was given the cleaning work and accommodation.

He was being paid N17,500 monthly as a cleaner in Ikoyi which he doubled by cleaning people’s homes in Lekki after work to make more money.

He has always loved “luxury” especially cars and would always be happy whenever he sees these vehicles drive by.

He would just bring out his phone and make a video of these cars, and post them but due to his poor camera quality, his videos didn’t get much views.

He saved 12k out of his salary bought another phone and continued making videos.

He was doing it out of his love for cars, he never thought it would make him money or bring him fame until the day Tunde Ednut posted one of his videos and it blew up.

He started getting followers, this encouraged him, he became consistent, would run after vehicles, make videos and post.

Tunde Ednut kept showing him love and kept reposting.

One day Tunde Ednut promised to give back to one of his lucky followers 2 Million Naira if he gets to 2 Million followers.

He got to 2 Million followers, a raffle draw was made and Ola of Lagos was the lucky winner of 2 Million Naira.

It didn’t stop there, Davido added, he would be sending Ola to a Dubai Car festival on an all expense paid trip and that’s how his life changed.

People trolled and made fun of him because of how his English but he was never deterred, he kept posting videos and making contents.

According to him, he went to a school where they’re taught in Yoruba when he was in Ogun State.

His first paid job was N3k but today he charges up to N1Million for adverts on Instagram.

He has built a brand as the No.1 luxury influencer in Nigeria and he has done it in his own way and it all started from an uncompleted building somewhere in Ikoyi.

It wasn’t always plenty for Ola who came from a very poor background but today IT’S PLENTY!!!

Today he owns a luxury car dealership named “Ola Of Lagos Autos” and luxury clothing line.

He has houses and drives two luxury Mercedes Benz, a boy that came to Lagos with nothing but a sack bag.

And it’s all down to hard-work, honesty, CONSISTENCY and the Grace of God.

He came to Lagos with nothing but a bag of dreams but today he’s at the top of luxury influencing in Nigeria.

One thing is certain, people like Tunde Ednut and Davido will NEVER go down no matter how much people try because they’ve built people, they’ve invested in people.

God will send our destiny helpers our way but until they come, start something, do something, so when they come, they will have something to invest in.

Business / 3 Basic Things You Need To "INPUT" If You Want To Scale A Successful Business On by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 4:47pm On Jun 30, 2023
First, you need to know that, "Every result is an output of an input"

Please read that👆 again, twice.

Good! Now, let's continue 👇

Now that you know fully well that, "every result you seek is determined by what you INPUT" and "There is no such thing as SOMETHING for NOTHING",

Now let's discuss The 3 basic "INPUT" you need in order to scale a successful business online:

✅ Time: Anything worthwhile takes time. if you are unwilling to dedicate your time, you will never get the result you desire.

you've got to give your business time.

Being in a business and giving complains of I don't really have time, my job is overwhelming... won't work!

Truly, you might have genuine excuses but never will they get you the results you desire.

It's your responsibility to create time if you want your business to grow. else don't even start a business.

✅ Energy : Energy is your ability or capacity to do work

If you don't set in the required work, you will never get any reward

You don't just start business, buy a course then expect result.❌

Business isn't magic!

if you do nothing you end up being nothing.

✅ Resources: this has to do with your MONEY

just like you spend on water, gadgets, hair and other things, so you must spend on your business.

Building a profitable business online doesn't stop on the first course you bought

you've got to embrace daily improvements.

you learn every single day. you buy books and read more

you buy complementary courses just to improve yourself in skills

because, the better you become at honing your skill, the better result you can create

Any result you see is an outcome of what you DO; whatever you do is an outcome of what you KNOW and whatever you know is as a result of what you've LEARNT.

Read that👆 again please

so basically, if you want a better result in any area of your like whether financially or anything, you've got to do better in your action

In order to do better, you have to first know better simply by learning more.

No gimmicks to success, it only has to do with
KNOWLEDGE.

LEARN first, then you remove the "L" to EARN irresistibly.

I hope this helps??

Business / How To Be Creative With Your Marketing!!! by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 2:10pm On Jun 25, 2023
There's this guy on social media that's very good at marketing, he uses unusual content to market his products.

His marketing strategies are very controversial, omo, if you see what he uses to market ehh, you would nod your head in amazement.

The other day, he woke up and got to a bear parlour, sat with a bear bottle, snapped himself, and posted it on social media with the caption "I'm living the life"

Someone bought from him because of that singular display. This marketer doesn't take alcohol, but he was inspired to do that just to get the attention of certain people.

As if that's not enough, this guy entered his toilet and took a picture of himself with his products while doing the solid.

When I thought he had outdone himself, he came back with a bomb.

This time he was on his bare body, just his boxers, gyming his products on both hands, and his background was his toilet.

Omo, he's a rare definition of a shameless marketer….

Doing all he was doing, most people frowned at it, while others were excited at the fact that he was giving them the vibes.

The good thing is, as people were busy yelling back and forth, this Oga was busy receiving and delivering orders.

What does this marketer know that most people don't know?

He understands the place of BIASES.

I'm not asking you to run naked on social media simply because you want to market,

I'm not asking you to trample on your values because you want to do shameless marketing.

All I'm saying is, find the bias of your customers, then create a marketing angle around it.

Why do you think a male fashion brand would want to market their products, and they use photos of beautiful women.

That's a bias on display, in marketing we call it gender bias, the brand knows that photos of beautiful ladies would always get the attention of the male gender.

So for your case, whatever business you're in, start thinking about creative ways you can use to market your business.

People are dancing on Instagram not because they love to dance, it's just their own creative way of marketing their business.

And you would notice that their audience really likes it when they dance on the gram.

For you, Okechukwu, what creative ways can you come up with to market your business.

It might not align with everyone, but it would surely tickle the fancy of a few.

Business / If You're Having Money Trouble This Is Something You SHOULDN'T Do: by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 5:46am On Jun 21, 2023
continually doing the same old things. Which could mean..

applying to job positions that you don't qualify for or perhaps your qualifications aren't just good enough for the kind of jobs you want

it could mean seeking jobs when you should be starting & building your own business

it could mean learning a skill online or an online business model that can give you cash flow while you keep at your old job (or while job hunting) -- this was the case for

here's what you should do instead: INCREASE YOUR OPTIONS

•Learn what works
•Follow who know road
•Run ads & get new customers
•Network with valuable people
•Be humble enough to seek help
•Trust God

18 months ago I quit looking for jobs and decided to LEARN WHAT WORKS

I found copywriting, tech-related stuff, coding, real estate, affiliate marketing, etc

I realised most of the options took a long time & patience to master before you start earning big money from them or they just require serious expertise which I didn't have as a complete beginner

so I chose the simplest option that was both cost friendly & beginner friendly, which was affiliate marketing

now before you start thinking that this is one of those posts to sell you an affiliate marketing course or program, hold on till you get my point before jumping into conclusions

my point here is that you need to INCREASE YOUR OPTIONS if you're serious about ending your money troubles, instead of doing the same old things

affiliate marketing worked for me, I've seen content creation, tiktok, copywriting, crypto, forex, UI/UX, & other great options work for other people

the point is to INCREASE YOUR OPTIONS instead of flogging a dead horse

I recommend affiliate marketing because it's the simplest of these options for a complete beginner,

secondly because it is what has worked for me and my proteges so far, and I know exactly how to make it work for you

I recommend what I know, what I've tried, and what I can confidently help anyone willing to learn till it works for them

I'm talking too much already, but I hope you get my point all the same?

have a blessed New week as this month comes to an end

I'm rooting for you fam

I truly am 🤗

---------------------------

With affiliate marketing you can confidently scale your finances to 6-7 figures within 6 months to 1 year of practice, grow your online brand, & attract more opportunities if you know how. I can help you get started,

A fish out of water will never survive🤷‍♀️

"I wish someone could just take the thoughts in my head and shape it into a work in progress then I'll continue from there."

NEWSFLASH:
No one is coming to save you.

No one can do you better than you would.

No one can give expression to your thoughts better than you who bear the vision.

It's either you BUILD your dreams irrespective of your fears, one step at a time... Or

Admire what others are building and feel pathetic and sorry for yourself.

Which would you choose?

Friendly advice: start small.

It's okay to feel overwhelmed, MANY TIMES, and when you do, take a break. Don't quit ❌

If God says "be anxious for nothing" (Philip 4:6), it tells you that anxiety is a choice.

Do this instead:
✅ Wipe your tears and encourage yourself. 🥹

✅ Pray and ask the Lord to help you stay disciplined. 🙏🏽

✅ Write out the thoughts bothering you on a paper 📜

✅ Write out the plans you'd like to achieve in their order of priority. ⚖️

✅ Do the easier task that'll not take so much time first. A sense of micro achievements will encourage you to do more. 😊

✅ Get support and expert opinion on things that seem beyond you. Two good heads are better than one. 🫂

✅ Lastly, starve your distractions, especially the endless scrolling on social media, looking for things that'll make you feel pathetic of yourself.

This is not a golden rule but doing this will definitely set you on a productive track again.

Nairaland / General / Meet Nigerian Professor Who Drove Peugeot 504 From London To Kano In 24 Days by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 1:38pm On Jun 18, 2023
Professor Aminu Mohammed Dorayi is a renowned educationist and adventurer that drove from London to Kano with his car.

The elder statesman is a Record-breaker, who broke a world record by driving his Peugeot 504 over a distance of about 4,000miles, in 24 days.

Prof Dorayi is a distinguished Abusite (Ahmadu Bello University) and respected professor of Chemistry. He doubled as a former president of the ABU Students Union Government (SUG) for 1966/1967. Dorayi set up the Sharada Industrial Estate in Kano. He is also the first to organize trade fair in Nigeria.

He is called The Adventurous Chemist because of his passion for adventure. While in the UK, his journey was inspired by several adventure books he had read. For instance, he read about the Marcopolos, the Mungo Parks, these adventurous stories fascinated him.

Dorayi, therefore proceded to make a record-breaking trip by driving his Peugeot 504 over a distance of about 4,000miles in 24 days.

According to the elder statesman, “England is an Island. So when you reach Southampton you have to take a boat, you and your car, to Calais, France. I drove through Paris and so on through Madrid, Gibraltar. So when you reach Gibraltar, you reach the Mediterranean Sea, where you also take a ferry to Algeria.

"From there you enter the road all through, though there is no road, in the desert, you’re guided by your compass, your map.”

Speaking further on the trip, Prof disclosed that ”I became very keen during my PhD in the US. I had a Volkswagen which I bought for about 600 dollars at that time. I used it to drive across the desert over there.” He added that he is highly adventurous, that is why even his autobiography is titled, The Adventurous Chemist.

Dorayi disclosed that as he bought the Peugeot 504 for 1000 pounds and hit the road immediately.

He said, ”I was assisted by the British Automobile Association (AA). They gave me the guidelines, the map, the route. They told me what to do in crossing the desert, and what not to do. So, I was quite prepared.

Speaking of his preparedness, Doriya said, ”Since I went to secondary technical school, I was technically inclined and I could service my car. I came from a technical background. Going back to Zango in Kano and hanging out with friends, they taught me confidence. So this thing has been in me for years. I enjoyed reading about trans-Sahara.

In his encounter, Doriya noted that ”There was a place I passed in Algeria, and the day I arrived, it was raining heavily. Little children of 13 years and below were running helter-skelter and crying. When I asked the elders why they said those children had never seen rain before. No rain for 14 years, so they thought heaven was falling. They had to be counselled by their elders.

Career / "3 Ways To Work On Your Mindset So Won't Abuse Opportunities by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 12:57am On Jun 17, 2023
When I read the story of the happy boys sent on a scholarship by Apostle Chibuzor, I knew there was more to the story than was shared on social media.

Now, more stories are emerging of how those same boys were never serious with school and were living a flamboyant lifestyle, drinking, clubbing, and forgetting why they were sent to Cyprus. 🥺

You see, when somebody is poor in the mind, giving such a person more money isn't the solution.

Money doesn't solve money problems.

This is what I have learned recently,

"If somebody is poor in the mind, even if you give such a person a million naira, thinking you are helping him, you would be wrong, he will squander the money on frivolity, buying things to impress people that don't care, and in a matter of time, they would reduce the money to a level that aligns with their limited mindset's capacity to sustain

It is simple!

You can't be a millionaire with a thousandnaire mindset

This might be where Apostle probably got it wrong.

Those boys could've been trained and properly discipled before they were sent to that place. ( Maybe he did that 🤷)

This is why making emotional decisions at times can come back to haunt you.

It's sad, and I feel for the man who only wanted to give them a better life.

The few pictures of those boys I have seen, none looked like students, but more like hip-hop musicians and spoiled brats from rich homes.

They were not mindful of the fact that they were only on a scholarship on someone else's resources.

They abused the opportunity—an opportunity so many of us are looking for.

They did that because of their poor mindset.
and their entitlement mentality

This is sad but the truth is, when we reward mediocrity and laziness, we breed more mediocre and lazy people who feel overtly entitled to other people's resources.

Lots of Nigerian youths suffer from this mindset.

They believe that someone owes them something.

They think the man must provide everything for them.

This is sad.

And before you abuse the pastor, some others who were given a similar opportunity sorted themselves out immediately upon arrival, without having to wait for the pastor to provide everything for them.

Same opportunity, different mindset, different outcome.

See ba, work on yourself, so that when great opportunities come your way, you won't abuse them with your entitlement and poor mentality.

Actually I saw shege trying to figure out how to succeed on the internet space 😂

I wanted to do it on my own as a boss 😂

But then, I got tired and decided to lean on the shoulder of my mentor Joshua King TL ✍️

And I must say, mentorship is a valuable tool for anyone looking to be successful in business.

A mentor is an experienced professional who provides guidance, advice, and support to a mentee.

The benefits of mentorship in business are many, and they can have a lasting impact on both the business and the mentee.

One of the main benefits of mentorship in business is the opportunity to learn from someone who has been there before.

A mentor can provide insight into the industry, offer advice on how to handle difficult situations, and provide guidance on how to navigate the often-challenging business landscape.

Another benefit of mentorship is networking. A mentor can introduce a mentee to people in the industry, providing them with valuable connections and expanding their professional network.

I got in contact with Bripin Rita Tenane., IDONGESIT AKPAN and Francis Ebubechukwu through my mentor connection.

These connections may lead to new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.

Mentorship also helps to build confidence in a mentee. Through regular meetings and feedback, a mentor can provide encouragement and support, helping the mentee to develop their skills and abilities. This can result in increased confidence and improved performance in the workplace.

Finally, mentorship can provide a sense of accountability. A mentor can help a mentee set goals and hold them accountable for achieving them. This can encourage the mentee to stay focused and motivated, working towards their goals with renewed energy and commitment.

Overall, the benefits of mentorship in business are clear. Whether you are a new entrepreneur or an experienced business professional, mentorship can provide valuable insights, connections, and support, helping you to achieve your goals and reach your full potential.

it is easier to achieve the results you want when you lean on the shoulder of those who has gotten to that level.

Do you have a mentor?

would you like me to be your mentor?

Or What would you say about mentorship? Let's know in the comments!!!

Business / Who Is The Business Mogul Who Is Coaching You In Business? by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 7:24pm On Jun 14, 2023
Should I shake this table, or should I move on?

I'm already here. Let's do this…

A few years into starting my business Nellies Nigeria, I was dragged by a friend of mine to attend a conference here in Lekki.

See, It wasn't really my intention to attend, but because this person was involved I didn't want her problem so I had to tag along.

Reaching the conference I sat at the back, I wanted a space where I could easily leave, this was where God caught me, one Coach Lilian was sitting beside me.

This Aunty didn't let me breath, she kept asking me questions about my business, and giving me solutions in which I could use to grow my business.

It was one of the pieces of advice she gave me that got me established in business at that early stage. I made mistakes, but my mistakes didn't crumble my business because I had people like Coach Lilian beside me.

It didn't stop there o, doing what I do, I've had to pay cool sums to people who had been there to guide me into how they got their results, so I can implement to get the same results.

Today I'm doing good in my business, yes the idea came, but someone had to show me how to organize the program for massive success.

Ask those who have partook in the program, they can attest to the solid frameworks we use to ensure every participant gets the best from the program.

Damilola, you're a business woman, Nkem you're a businessman, who is coaching you to achieve those results you have on your vision board.

There's a vast difference between mentorship and coaching.

A mentor shows you the way, while a coach takes you through the way.

Let's say you're on the mainland and you want to visit Ajah.

A mentor's job is to show you the way to Ajah. But the job of a coach is to walk you through to Ajah, he tells you turn left you turn, he says turn right, you do the same.

Wait a sec, I want to be safe to assume that my business moguls aren't stalking people in their DMs with the phrase "please mentor me".

Don't be that guy or that babe that does that, you're ROYALTY, and royalties don't do that. Let the mobs do what the mobs would do.

You're royalty, and only royalties dominate their niche, to truly dominate in business, you must do this:

Have MASTERMINDS!!!!

Your mastermind is a circle of people that have passed the test of professionality and experience, and they are qualified to give you COUNSEL.

This circle consists of your mentors, coaches, trusted advisors, powerful allies, etc.

These people have much wisdom in the different areas you would need in business, areas like personal finance, tech, artificial intelligence, legal matters, tax, business growth, partnerships, etc.

You can never succeed alone, you need MASTERMINDS to help you scale.

if you want to learn affiliate marketing business and scale fast, them check the comments sections for Way out

I hope this helps you.

I am rooting for you.

🔹Organize and respond to emails.
🔹Manage day-to-day admin tasks.
🔹Manage and organize your CRM.
🔹Create and post content on your socials.
🔹Manage your DMs and messaging outreach efforts.
🔹Engage prospects in conversations to set up meetings and close deals.

And a host of other (legal) stuff you need assistance with.

Business / Re: How Fuel Price Still Remains N198 After Subsidies by AbuSadeegbiz(m): 12:20pm On Jun 14, 2023
AbuSadeegbiz:
following the announcement by Mr. President that his government will remove fuel subsidy, the price of petrol immediately jumped from N198 to N400 and above in almost all the filling stations across the country.

So , I went into the Bovas Filling Station to buy fuel but I was surprised when the fuel was sold at N198 the normal price.

I asked the attendant why they have not hiked the price like others filling stations but she told me that Bovas is selling at the old price because Bovas still has the old stock. And they're selling at the old price. They won't take advantage. They're not greedy. I don't know when I started praying for the couple who own the company.

THANK YOU BOVAS GROUP
Arch. Bamidele O. Samson - Chairman
Mrs. Victoria A. Samson - CEO/MD

BOVAS is owned by a very honest Nigerian couple. The husband, Arc. Bamidele O. is Board Chairman and co-owner while the wife, Mrs. Victoria is Managing Director and co-owner.

The BOVAS Group has demonstrated a high sense of service to humanity and maintained their integrity as the very best fueling station in Nigeria for years. This couple has never joined the oil marketers cabal to sabotage Nigerians.

The owners of BOVAS Petroleum deserves a National Award for their kindness to humanity despite the greed prevalent among other marketers.

Bovas brand is a shining example of righteousness. And Bovas is trying to pass one message to us, that we can fix Nigeria only if we all choose to be Bovas in our dealings as citizen.
