Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups grated carrots 1/2 cup chopped pecanEasy Carrot Cake Loaf Recipe 🥰🥰 Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups grated carrots 1/2 cup mixed fruit (optional) How To Make It : Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in the grated carrots and mixed fruit (if using). Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan and transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve the cake as desired. It has both spiritual and natural consequences. Spiritually, positive speaking releases blessings, and negative speech attracts curses. In the natural, when you speak positively about your country, the collective testimonies of citizens will resonate globally, and your nation is likelier to attract foreign investment, and the citizens are more motivated to develop their GDP. You may sometimes hear Americans, Britons, Canadians, and continental Europeans speak negatively about their leaders, but it is almost anathema for them to speak derogatorily about their countries. And such positivity about their countries permeates every facet of their national life. It is the same phenomenon in sports. By cheering your team, you increase the likelihood that they will succeed and emerge victorious. You don't wait for your country to be ideal before you speak well of her. No. You speak well of your country, and your nation will become what you say of her. With this in mind, let us learn to speak positively about Nigeria. It will have physical and spiritual benefits for Nigeria. And I can prove it to you. If you take Nigeria as six geopolitical zones, you will agree with me that the Southwest of Nigeria is the zone where residents are most likely to speak positively about their region and their people. If that is the case, do you think it is a coincidence that the Southwest is also the most peaceful and prosperous part of Nigeria, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, and the World Bank? Scripture says, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people"-Proverbs 14:34. One of the most elementary and quotidian forms of righteousness is right speaking. This is why Scripture again says, 'A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth'-Proverbs 13:2. Additionally, prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said in the Hadith of Faith as follows, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak goodness or remain silent." You cannot keep saying, 'Nigeria is finished', 'Nigeria jaga jaga', 'Make I japa from this useless country', etc, and expect Nigeria to yield good to you. You are poisoning the atmosphere over you and making it difficult for goodness to penetrate. Look at the region where the most insult and abuse come from. What is their reality? Is it peaceful or economically progressive? Words are powerful. They are not empty. Once spoken, they do not return void. Words are like electricity. They are invisible but contain great creative power to affect your outcomes and reality. Scientists at the UC Davis MIND Institute have established that our subconscious mind finds ways to manifest what it hears into reality. What is coming out of your mouth about Nigeria? Whatever it is, it will affect you more than your leaders, because those leaders have a greater capacity than you to fly out of Nigeria to escape the consequences of our negative words. So you better make it good. Do you know one of the most popular phrases in America? Please Google it. It is 'God bless America'. To the best of my knowledge, one of the most common phrases in Nigeria is 'useless country' or 'yeye country'. Am I lying? No, seriously, am I lying? Even if you don't like Nigeria's leaders, you can attack them. But don't wait for Nigeria to be good before you speak well of her. Speak well of Nigeria, and she will be good. |

→ Lesson 1: Everything Is Hard At First Attempt. Think about it, the first time you tried writing. swimming. or riding a bicycle.. It's first hard before it becomes simple. I said "simple".. not easy. Nothing good comes easy You just have to keep grinding.. try consistently until it becomes easy to you. ____ → Lesson 2: See Failure As Feedback. Failure is not fatal. I used to feel bad when I missed my script. I'd cancel it all and start all over again. Give yourself the liberty to fail. It simply means you didn't get it right before. Now try again. And again. Till you get it right. ____ → Lesson 3: Document The Journey. In the final analysis.. your documented experiences become CONTENT. After many takes.. I kept the parts I got right and retake the parts I missed until we got it all right. The lessons we pick along the journey become our story. Our unique message. After living in the United States for 40 years and at the age of 70, Uncle Musa finally relocated to Salagie, The Gambia this year to live in his 5-bedroom house which took him 10 years to complete. Now in Gambia and in his house, Uncle Musa lives in the living room of the house downstairs while his caretaker lives upstairs in his huge master bedroom. This is because Uncle Musa cannot climb the stairs without the help of another person. Even with help, it takes him 10 minutes to make the climb. As such, Uncle Musa has decided to stay downstairs in the living room as all 5 bedrooms are upstairs. The house has a living room, toilet and kitchen downstairs; 3 rooms on the first floor and another 2 rooms (including the master bedroom) on the second/last floor. This is surely not how Uncle Musa anticipated his retirement. But that is the reality of his journey. This will be the life of many other Africans living abroad and building mansions back home. In fact, if you are building a dream house for yourself to live in and the house is not ready by the time you attain the age of 50, forget about it! Uncle Musa virtually wasted 40 years of his life doing menial jobs abroad, hoping to go and retire back home in his mansion and enjoy life. But, now he has no life to enjoy and someone else is sleeping in his master bedroom. Like most aged persons, Uncle Musa is not even able to enjoy a bottle of Malt at his age because it will shoot up his blood sugar level. Yet, he said he was working hard all his life in order to enjoy life, which includes eating and drinking the finest foods and drinks, when he retires. Now, he is only able to eat fruit and vegetable salads - and even that, without dressing! He cannot even eat any of the fine meats out there without his cholesterol sending warning signs. That is the life of Uncle Musa in retirement? This will be the story of more than half of us. The best thing to do is to take mini-retirements now and enjoy the luxuries of life now that you still have the strength to do so! We must all learn a lesson from the story of Uncle Musa. The plan by President Tinubu to pay ₦8000 monthly to 12 million households as fuel subsidy removal palliatives is commendable. It gives a human face to the harsh economic necessity of petrol subsidy withdrawal. But to help our nation grow, I would suggest to the President that he ties the ₦8000 monthly payment to the condition that children in recipient families MUST attend school and have their payment vouchers signed by the principal/headmaster of their school proving that they attended school throughout that month, failure of which they will not be paid. That way, Nigeria will reduce her current population of 20 million out-of-school children. And it will have an immediate impact on our economy, as educated children tend to be healthier, less likely to engage in terrorism and criminality, and also less likely to be teenage parents. Furthermore, as a nation, we should not only give fish to people experiencing poverty. We should also teach willing Nigerians how to fish. I, therefore, recommend to the President that he may want to provide free training and business grants (not loans, but grants) to at least half a million Nigerian youths to enable them to start up verifiable small and medium-scale enterprises. Nigeria's situation is similar to that of the United States of the 1930s, and this was how President FDR Roosevelt empowered Americans through the New Deal. In that way, the President will help Nigerian youths to help themselves as well as to help Nigeria. Once again, good job, and kudos to the President. If he, however, does wrong, he should also expect knocks.

In early 2019, a young man named Okinwande Waris Olayinka left his village, Owode in Ogun State to move to Lagos in search of greener pastures. He didn’t have anyone in Lagos and only called a friend he knew called “Ope” when he was already on his way to Lagos, and his friend encouraged him to come. If only he knew what lay ahead of him. His friend, Ope, lied to him that he stayed in Ajah, and that he had a house where he could stay. Ola got to Lagos only to find out that Ope was just a laborer who was squatting in the uncompleted building he was working at. He decided he would sleep in the uncompleted building with his friend since he had no choice but when it got dark and they were about to go in, the security sent Ola out and that was how he was left stranded with nowhere to sleep. He took his sack bag and decided to enter a bus heading to Ajah from Ikoyi (where his friend worked and squatted) and inside the bus he heard some laborers talking. When one of them was about dropping, he came down with him, knelt down and started begging him to let him sleep at his place for the night. The Good Samaritan agreed, took him home, fed him and allowed him to pass the night at his place. The next morning, he went back to his friend, Ope who now had lost his work and his squatting spot because he brought Ola. Together they were homeless, they kept searching for uncompleted buildings to work at, when they did, they begged security to allow them sleep there since they were workers. After a week working as laborers, Ola applied for a cleaning job in an office space in Ikoyi. At this point, the security at the uncompleted building where he was squatting was threatening to throw them out as he didn’t want to lose his job. Ola opened up and told his manager at work that he was homeless and needed a place to stay, the manager promised to help if something comes up. 2 weeks later, a better cleaning job with accommodation came up, they were 25 people that applied, Ola was the only one picked and after a week probation, he was given the cleaning work and accommodation. He was being paid N17,500 monthly as a cleaner in Ikoyi which he doubled by cleaning people’s homes in Lekki after work to make more money. He has always loved “luxury” especially cars and would always be happy whenever he sees these vehicles drive by. He would just bring out his phone and make a video of these cars, and post them but due to his poor camera quality, his videos didn’t get much views. He saved 12k out of his salary bought another phone and continued making videos. He was doing it out of his love for cars, he never thought it would make him money or bring him fame until the day Tunde Ednut posted one of his videos and it blew up. He started getting followers, this encouraged him, he became consistent, would run after vehicles, make videos and post. Tunde Ednut kept showing him love and kept reposting. One day Tunde Ednut promised to give back to one of his lucky followers 2 Million Naira if he gets to 2 Million followers. He got to 2 Million followers, a raffle draw was made and Ola of Lagos was the lucky winner of 2 Million Naira. It didn’t stop there, Davido added, he would be sending Ola to a Dubai Car festival on an all expense paid trip and that’s how his life changed. People trolled and made fun of him because of how his English but he was never deterred, he kept posting videos and making contents. According to him, he went to a school where they’re taught in Yoruba when he was in Ogun State. His first paid job was N3k but today he charges up to N1Million for adverts on Instagram. He has built a brand as the No.1 luxury influencer in Nigeria and he has done it in his own way and it all started from an uncompleted building somewhere in Ikoyi. It wasn’t always plenty for Ola who came from a very poor background but today IT’S PLENTY!!! Today he owns a luxury car dealership named “Ola Of Lagos Autos” and luxury clothing line. He has houses and drives two luxury Mercedes Benz, a boy that came to Lagos with nothing but a sack bag. And it’s all down to hard-work, honesty, CONSISTENCY and the Grace of God. He came to Lagos with nothing but a bag of dreams but today he’s at the top of luxury influencing in Nigeria. One thing is certain, people like Tunde Ednut and Davido will NEVER go down no matter how much people try because they’ve built people, they’ve invested in people. God will send our destiny helpers our way but until they come, start something, do something, so when they come, they will have something to invest in. 1 Like

There's this guy on social media that's very good at marketing, he uses unusual content to market his products. This time he was on his bare body, just his boxers, gyming his products on both hands, and his background was his toilet. Omo, he's a rare definition of a shameless marketer…. Doing all he was doing, most people frowned at it, while others were excited at the fact that he was giving them the vibes. The good thing is, as people were busy yelling back and forth, this Oga was busy receiving and delivering orders. What does this marketer know that most people don't know? He understands the place of BIASES. I'm not asking you to run naked on social media simply because you want to market, I'm not asking you to trample on your values because you want to do shameless marketing. All I'm saying is, find the bias of your customers, then create a marketing angle around it. Why do you think a male fashion brand would want to market their products, and they use photos of beautiful women. That's a bias on display, in marketing we call it gender bias, the brand knows that photos of beautiful ladies would always get the attention of the male gender. So for your case, whatever business you're in, start thinking about creative ways you can use to market your business. People are dancing on Instagram not because they love to dance, it's just their own creative way of marketing their business. And you would notice that their audience really likes it when they dance on the gram. For you, Okechukwu, what creative ways can you come up with to market your business. Professor Aminu Mohammed Dorayi is a renowned educationist and adventurer that drove from London to Kano with his car. The elder statesman is a Record-breaker, who broke a world record by driving his Peugeot 504 over a distance of about 4,000miles, in 24 days. Prof Dorayi is a distinguished Abusite (Ahmadu Bello University) and respected professor of Chemistry. He doubled as a former president of the ABU Students Union Government (SUG) for 1966/1967. Dorayi set up the Sharada Industrial Estate in Kano. He is also the first to organize trade fair in Nigeria. He is called The Adventurous Chemist because of his passion for adventure. While in the UK, his journey was inspired by several adventure books he had read. For instance, he read about the Marcopolos, the Mungo Parks, these adventurous stories fascinated him. Dorayi, therefore proceded to make a record-breaking trip by driving his Peugeot 504 over a distance of about 4,000miles in 24 days. According to the elder statesman, “England is an Island. So when you reach Southampton you have to take a boat, you and your car, to Calais, France. I drove through Paris and so on through Madrid, Gibraltar. So when you reach Gibraltar, you reach the Mediterranean Sea, where you also take a ferry to Algeria. "From there you enter the road all through, though there is no road, in the desert, you’re guided by your compass, your map.” Speaking further on the trip, Prof disclosed that ”I became very keen during my PhD in the US. I had a Volkswagen which I bought for about 600 dollars at that time. I used it to drive across the desert over there.” He added that he is highly adventurous, that is why even his autobiography is titled, The Adventurous Chemist. Dorayi disclosed that as he bought the Peugeot 504 for 1000 pounds and hit the road immediately. He said, ”I was assisted by the British Automobile Association (AA). They gave me the guidelines, the map, the route. They told me what to do in crossing the desert, and what not to do. So, I was quite prepared. Speaking of his preparedness, Doriya said, ”Since I went to secondary technical school, I was technically inclined and I could service my car. I came from a technical background. Going back to Zango in Kano and hanging out with friends, they taught me confidence. So this thing has been in me for years. I enjoyed reading about trans-Sahara. In his encounter, Doriya noted that ”There was a place I passed in Algeria, and the day I arrived, it was raining heavily. Little children of 13 years and below were running helter-skelter and crying. When I asked the elders why they said those children had never seen rain before. When I read the story of the happy boys sent on a scholarship by Apostle Chibuzor, I knew there was more to the story than was shared on social media. Now, more stories are emerging of how those same boys were never serious with school and were living a flamboyant lifestyle, drinking, clubbing, and forgetting why they were sent to Cyprus. 🥺 You see, when somebody is poor in the mind, giving such a person more money isn't the solution. Money doesn't solve money problems. This is what I have learned recently, "If somebody is poor in the mind, even if you give such a person a million naira, thinking you are helping him, you would be wrong, he will squander the money on frivolity, buying things to impress people that don't care, and in a matter of time, they would reduce the money to a level that aligns with their limited mindset's capacity to sustain It is simple! You can't be a millionaire with a thousandnaire mindset This might be where Apostle probably got it wrong. Those boys could've been trained and properly discipled before they were sent to that place. ( Maybe he did that 🤷) This is why making emotional decisions at times can come back to haunt you. It's sad, and I feel for the man who only wanted to give them a better life. The few pictures of those boys I have seen, none looked like students, but more like hip-hop musicians and spoiled brats from rich homes. They were not mindful of the fact that they were only on a scholarship on someone else's resources. They abused the opportunity—an opportunity so many of us are looking for. They did that because of their poor mindset. and their entitlement mentality This is sad but the truth is, when we reward mediocrity and laziness, we breed more mediocre and lazy people who feel overtly entitled to other people's resources. Lots of Nigerian youths suffer from this mindset. They believe that someone owes them something. They think the man must provide everything for them. This is sad. And before you abuse the pastor, some others who were given a similar opportunity sorted themselves out immediately upon arrival, without having to wait for the pastor to provide everything for them. Same opportunity, different mindset, different outcome. See ba, work on yourself, so that when great opportunities come your way, you won't abuse them with your entitlement and poor mentality. No one can do you better than you would. No one can give expression to your thoughts better than you who bear the vision. It's either you BUILD your dreams irrespective of your fears, one step at a time... Or Admire what others are building and feel pathetic and sorry for yourself. Which would you choose? Friendly advice: start small. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, MANY TIMES, and when you do, take a break. Don't quit ❌ If God says "be anxious for nothing" (Philip 4:6), it tells you that anxiety is a choice. Do this instead: ✅ Wipe your tears and encourage yourself. 🥹 ✅ Pray and ask the Lord to help you stay disciplined. 🙏🏽 ✅ Write out the thoughts bothering you on a paper 📜 ✅ Write out the plans you'd like to achieve in their order of priority. ⚖️ ✅ Do the easier task that'll not take so much time first. A sense of micro achievements will encourage you to do more. 😊 ✅ Get support and expert opinion on things that seem beyond you. Two good heads are better than one. 🫂 ✅ Lastly, starve your distractions, especially the endless scrolling on social media, looking for things that'll make you feel pathetic of yourself.
