Munzy14:

The Jamb route is best for her..

That direct entry is 50/50 and judging from the fact she is a first class chemist, they will likely deny her direct entry route and advise her to come pick a lecturing Job in chemistry..

Better she moved to start on a fresh note.
You are one of the few persons making sense on this thread.

Those shouting direct entry don't know Chemistry faculty is quite far from Medicine's.

She'd be denied admission in most schools irrespective of her Post De score/first class grade had she not taken the UTME route.

As for dominating medical school, it's not a certainty.

Because a 16 year old boy or girl might end up being the one dominating in a class with masters degree holder, first class first degree holders and the likes.

I wish her all the best.

Thanks for your insights.

(1) She has a passion for Medicine.

(2) She is based in Lagos and not Benin but has somebody in Benin

(3) She will accept the Physiotherapy and then do JAMB again.

(4) This Uniben PUTME is an eye opener for her. She initially thought that Uniben PUTME was based on JAMB but this year's was an eye opener as Uniben can change things without notice.

(5) Her UTME was strong. She got 299.

(6) She will study hard and start preparing for next JAMB as Uniben is not likely to resume till March/April

(7) If in the next JAMB, she scores high, she might consider Unilag as Unilag combines JAMB, WAEC and PUTME and her WAEC is very good.

(8 ) She will now study extra hard as she now knows that entering Medicine in any University is not easy and very competitive.

Perfect.

299 for a 16 year old is awesome.

From your response, I'm thinking you can keep her on her toes.

It's common place to see people flunking Utme after their very good first attempt due to complacency.

If she changes her mind about applying to Uniben again, you may reach out to me on her behalf.

Maybe, I can help with some information that may brighten her chances.

All the best to her.

And we would be glad to have her in Uniben Medical School.

Goodday All,

A quick update on this issue.

She is being transferred to Physiotherapy. Is Physiotherapy a Medical course or a Science course?. What are your thoughts?. To Accept or to Reject?.

She can accept it.

And still take jamb if she really has the passion.

16 is still young though. Though there's no harm in getting into school early.

Some questions I feel "she/you" should be able to answer.

Does she have someone that tells her the nitty-gritty of Uniben putme, how to pass it, what text to read ?

How was her Utme ?
Coz her foundation (utme) has to be strong

Is she based in Benin ? There are some lecture houses churning out great scores year in year out.

Maybe she should attend one and put in more effort.

Truth is, many persons take courses with the intention of switching and end up graduating like that

Some lose the zeal along the way coz why try ? When they are already in Uni ?

So many questions begging answers...

Caveat: I'm asking all these with the assumption she has a passion for medicine.

Physiotherapy isn't bad.

Health / Re: How Much Is Hearing Aid And Where Can Someone Get It? by Acecube(m): 5:21pm On Nov 14, 2022
SouthSidde:
Hi. If my memory serves me correctly, the average price of an adult hearing aid is about $2,000 to $3,000. It can range from $1,000 to over $4,000 for each device, depending on the level of technology. I used different hearing aids a couple of years ago too and as far as I'm concerned, the best one was the Oticon More BTE-R. It was perfect for me and it wasn't that big of a price, at $1400, which is a pretty good price for a hearing aid. I bought it online at the Hearing aids shop and it was probably the best purchase I ever made. I consulted with my doctor before I ordered it, and he told me what kind of hearing aid would be best for me. At first, he advised me on the simplest one, but in the end, I bought a Bluetooth hearing aid, and I haven't regretted it one bit.
are you based in Nigeria ?

olusegxz:

This thing happens. Most footballers do it, I mean the ones from Africa mostly even in diaspora it's just that there the law is much more harsh. What victor did is double dipping. In football transfer the rule says the super agent can liase with a local agent connected to players. Many times local players want to chop this money too as remember transfer fees goes to the club, the agent who brokered it, and any other agents. To ensure fairness players don't really get anything from this money because if they did they will sign contract and start looking for clubs to break the contract with huge transfer fees so players dont officially get commission. Which is also why if you have no club you can be bought free as a free transfer. You are only entitled to your agreed weekly wages and any other bonuses the club decides to give you. That money was meant for a local agent who victor put his inlaw as front there. Victor should have explained to the guy very well that the money is his own and he is just fronting (I'm sure he did). He should also have done something more for the guy when someone has that kind of money in their account and withdraw and give you ummm that person has the grace of God oooo. That's why daddy freeze was shocked. Even if it's to buy one better big car for the guy or even build one house with 150k dollars somewhere. Give the guy. This is what they all do. But victor forget them and was doing big boy spending anyhow and that is what is paining them. Because if that guy goes to court, he is the legal local agent on paper so he has a case. The only thing now is he gave victor the money with his hand and I am sure there is no where he can show that it was a loan. So in the eye of the law it will be forgone money except he has very good lawyer. On the other side a legal case can expose that he was not a real agent and put victor in trouble.
You have said it all bro. People don't understand the gravity of what Osimhen is being accused of... I'm an Osimhen fan but he messed up in this case and should becareful FIFA or UEFA doesn't get involved
