If our team can play with purpose we will make him eat his words.

Come sunday he should just pray he doesn't face moses on the flank. In fact his comment should be a morale boaster for the team coz it's better to be underrated than to be overrated. Mikel should prove him wrong.

HAH: My brother ordinary ethiopia o and let me be honest if you ask experts there are possibilities that the match was fixed,

Just go back and watch the game and compare with other games found to have been fixed in the past.

Anyhow am happy that they scaled through but that amount is ridiculous
the match was fixed and the ethiopian coach was closed to tears ? a country that have been absent from afcon for 31 years will sell a chance to qualify ? guy you're sitting on the WRONG THING grin
Let's just hope we don't have to play Ivory Coast. Otherwise, we might as well forfeit.

Tonight's display was terrible. We didn't even deserve to win. Luckily Victor Moses was there to win and convert those penalties.

Now what we need to focus on is our midfield. Hope fully Fegor Ogude will NEVER see the field again. Even Mikel was useless. Why not put Ogeny Onazi on instead, or Obiorah Nwankwo?

And what of Reuben Gabriel? Certain people on this board were ranting and raving about him.

Also, Ideye Brown should partner Emenike upfront. They worked well together in the opening match.
guy as much as i would want to say shut up, i'll refrain from doing such.

from your comment it's quite obvious you didn't watch the match coz if you did you won't be spewing this trash. as far as afcon 2013 is concern this was our best outing. The midfield was superb though there's room for improvement(in terms of linking with the attack).

And mind you fengor is naija's gattuso if i most say, forget the yellow card and see the way he fights for every ball..

Someone was even insulting sunday mba, mind you the dude was creative better than igiebor. Had a good shot at goal. And was open to passes.

Gej is really trying most coz Nigerians don't appreciate anything
Sports › Re: How Do We Play Cote D'ivoire - Suggestions And Advice by Acecube(m): 4:12am On Jan 30, 2013
I think one of the major problem we had in our opening matches(zambia) was rating musa above moses... Coz most of our balls were channelled towards him whereas the dude hasn't improved on his final balls.

so in the match against ivory coast he(moses) should be our main threat on the flanks, emenike should be the lone striker coz of his strenth too bad uche isn't well built.

Ejike, or ideye should assist on the flanks. fengor won't feature and that's a big blow to us.. He's been effective as a defensive midfielder doing the dirty job well.

I'll advise keshi to bench yobo, coz he still hasn't improved almost committed a blunder against ethiopia when introduced.

And i love the fight for shirt kind of approach. keshi has been able to show selections are based on performance e.g yobo(c) hitting the bench for awful display, nosa replaced by mba, musa gave way for Ike. Kudos to the boss

imperiouxx: @OP,

You mean S. Keshi comes here to get advise? Unless that, if not, no amount of what is said here that will fall on their ears. Nigeria will still play that annoying and sluggish game. If they can push to draw sha, we see how it goes from there.
bro don't be so sure that keshi doesn't use the internet. I read an article earlier today (lol it's morning already) on goal.com on '' 5 things super eagles must do against ethiopia '' and behold most of the points highlighted were surprising implemented e.g pairing emenike n uche. So you can't be so sure o.k

Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Ethiopia : Who Is Your Man Of The Match? by Acecube(m): 11:13pm On Jan 29, 2013
Good thing we won. I Just can't imagine what this forum would have looked like had it been the other way round.

Good game, was impressed with the way our midfield and defense linked. But truth be told, we are yet to create enough chances for the attackers

Too bad we'll be missing fengor( naija's gattuso) in our next match.

As for the man of the match '' they all deserve it '' but moses n enyeama were most deserving.

Btw Mba brought something new to the team, as for musa he had better spray his hair black

personally after reading comments here, i was like 'was i watching a different match' ,... coz sincerely speaking this is one of the best performance from the boys in recent time. For the first time in this tournament i saw our midfield working ;the passes were more co-ordinated and mikel was a bit fast (compare to previous matches though his sluggish approach halted some counter attack)

And fengor which i'm begining to like ( let's be sincere he does the dirty job ) had a good game and Mba the homebase player seem to know how a creative midfielder should play (had a shot on goal which was spewed by gk sisay ).

Omeruo and oboabona did well, the former blocked a shot that would have ended in enyeama's net. Echiejile had an average game (forget outrun ) he almost found the back of the net same with efe ....

I could go on and on and on with our improvements so far, but i will stop here.Nigerians Let's learn to appreciate good whenever the need arise, imagine a SE player having access to NL, will he be happy to know that 90% of Nigerians couldn't see the effort they put into that match ?........mind you barcelona are the best according to analysts but truth be told they are still a work in progress.

Goodnight nigerians.. ( would definitely miss the service of ogude in qf match )

symbianDON: a friend of mine made a stop at a restaurant to have lunch while he was on a journey (don't wanna mention d town). He ordered pounded yam and egusi soup. Soon after he finished d first wrap, he made to eat a generous piece from the 'smoked fish' in d soup. Turned out the supposed smoked fish was actually blackened snake lizard usually kept in d soup pot as a fetish charm to attract customers!!!! The newly employed waitress hadn't learnt d ropes well enough. Needless to say, d madam nearly swooned and made frantic efforts to mollify my friend to no avail. Anyway, till date, he has not eaten in any restaurant since then!!
and the charm worked on him...... Seriously she ought to have been arrested and her license seized for eternity( i.e if buka get licence), that's why i prefer taking junks ( eggroll, meatpie, fishpie e.t.c) to visiting a restaurant.

dayokanu: I agree with most of the position except a few.

A very sensible list if you ask me

The Nigerians on that list I disagree with their positions. The best Nigeria should be the one who was ranked highest in the world by FIFA, who won 2 African footballer of the year awards, Won several club titles

Nigerian ranking should be

KANU Nwankwo
Finidi
Mikel
Yekini
Taribo
Oliseh
Amuneke
Okocha
Amokachi
Ikpeba
guy you placed mikel above okocha, amokachi, ikpeba ? where are bk boys when you need them angry
