I wonder what's the difference between the proposal to sell national assets to fund the 2019 budget by the PMB led administration and the proposal to sell NNPC by Atiku to boost the economy? If APC supporters can endorse the sales of National assets by PMB, why are they against the sales of NNPC that has been the center of so many financial scandals of misappropriation and corruption? If Atiku is been accused of wanting to sell the NNPC to his friends and cronies, who are the persons the present administration want to sell our national assets to? I ask these questions no because I want us to be objective, unbiased and not hypocritical at this critical period of our National history. As it stands, I think PMB is doing a better job at campaigning by focusing on issue based campaigns and not attacking personalities. APC should be focused on selling their candidate, trumpeting his achievements and showing his strengths and not engaging in opposition politics of smear campaigns and propaganda. troublemakea:I just hope u're prepared for the journey u're about to embark on. If they're also cultists and yahoo boys, reporting them will definitely not be the end of the drama because they'll definitely come for payback sooner or later. If u're a family man, consider the safety of ur family and the disaster this action u're considering might bring. Talk to them calmly, look for their leader and tall to him. Tell him the music is really affecting ur health and that of ur family especially ur kids. As for their business, Pls mind ur own business. Don't start something u won't be able to finish. |
NOW YOU WON'T HEAR APC ZOMBIES SHOUTING AND SCREAMING CORRUPTION IS FIGHTING BACK! Just imagine if Ganduje was a PDP Governor |
A high court in Kano on Monday ordered the Kano state house of assembly to stop investigating allegations that Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of the state, received bribe from contractors. This followed a legal action taken by a pro-democracy group called Lawyers For Sustainable Democracy in Nigeria. After videos of the governor allegedly receiving kickback went viral, the assembly set up a panel to investigate the issue. The panel summoned Jafar Jafar, publisher of Daily Nigerian, the platform which released the materials and subsequently summoned Ganduje who failed to honour the invitation but sent a representative. The panel had slated November 6 for playing the video clips in the process of investigation. At the court on Monday, A.T Badamasi, the presiding judge, ordered the assembly to suspend the probe. ustice A.T. Badamasi gave the order on Monday while ruling on an ex-parte application by one Muhammad Zubair, the National Coordinator of Lawyers for Sustainable Democracy in Nigeria. Badamasi also issued a four-day ultimatum for the respondents to respond to the application and ordered the parties involved to ‘maintain status quo ante’ pending the hearing of the motion on notice. He thereafter adjourned the case till Monday next week for the hearing. Joined as defendants in the suit are the Kano assembly, the house committee investigating the allegation and the attorney-general and commissioner of justice in the state. https://www.thecable.ng/court-stops-kano-assembly-from-probing-ganduje https://www.channelstv.com/2018/11/05/breaking-court-stops-kano-assembly-from-probing-bribery-allegation-against-ganduje/ |
Muslims are sometimes very hypocritical, MURIC and the fanatical OP will not speak out against this move by El-Rufia but if it were to be a Christian governor doing same thing they'll cry blue murder to the high heavens. They cry when it doesn't suit them but turn blind eyes and deaf ears when it's all about them. They always want fairness when they are disadvantaged but always intolerant of others when it suits them. This issue of mixing religion with politics was initiated and inflamed by those of the said religion. This move by El-Rufia is capable of causing and inflaming the religious crisis in the state without considerations for other religions. For a multi religious state like Kaduna, that's constantly plagued with religious crisis, it's only fair to have all religion involved in political decisions. |
I think AL Jazeera is on Nigerian Governments payroll. From the interview of Liar Mohammed two weeks ago to other Pro government stories about Nigeria recently. Even the government admitted that they're trying to launder their battered international image through various international information agencies. Election is around the corner so things like this is very much expected, it doesn't take away the fact that the school feeding program is a massive fraud and doesn't make sense economically on the long run. The government should focus more on reducing the cost and standard of living, adequately fund the educational sector of the country and also increase minimum wage. Feeding of children by their parents and guardians will not be a big deal. We like to copy things but we forget that before you build a very tall house, you must have a very deep and solid foundation. Nigeria does not have the deep and solid economic, financial and social foundation to sustain all these social intervention programs. Soon government will SELL ASSETS TO FUND LIABILITIES SUCH AS THESE PROGRAMS FOR CHEAP POLITICAL PROPAGANDA, DESTROYING OUR COLLECTIVE FUTURE THE MORE AS A NATION! I LOVE MY COUNTRY BUT I'M ASHAMED OF OUR LEADERS! |
