Philipsdael: for the sake of those that are not from the east, pls is there any difference between nwosu and nwa-osu?There is notting like 'nwa-osu' in Igboland, unless ur refering to 'a son of an osu'? beside, the issue of OSU is fast disappearing in Igbo communities. |

@Danka777, You have spoken well, when I read "why we lost the war" by Major Gen. Mmadu Ebo.I begin to withdraw my love for Ojukwu....many people are unaware of this. |
abdul4hire: With regards to the violence, some of us muslims who leave our beards, jump our trousers(perhaps depiction of extremism by ignorant people) and try to adhere to the true teachings of the prophet(saw) according to how his companions narrated nd understood it......we know that most of these violence and protesting in Islam are forbidden. And there are texts clearly prohibiting such.Accepted. But what do you have to say about this nonesence killings and destruction of properties? |

Sky Blue: Just out of interest are you in Nigeria and are you willing to fight for your cause? War is not playing oga in the backyard with your sister, it is a serious thing. My brother nobody is praying for war but if anybody or nation brings war to your doorstep(as they did in 1967),what will u do?. You have to defend ur land.smh |
The shady deals of Nigeria govt of Yakubu G with cameroun during the Biafra civil war has just starting to manifest and this time bakassi people will be at the receiving end. If truly bakassi indigines open their nyansh and aided nigeria in order to exterminate Biafrans...let them go to cameroun but if it is the other way round...let seek for referedum or take their destiny by their own hand by declaring war against NIGERIA. If this will hasten the actullisation of Biafra...."who cares?" |
andrewza: A small conflict can become a large area. Let's say that there is a armed uprising. This internal affair turns in to state on state war but still local. The war puts strain on nigeria. BH takes advantage putting more strain on nigeria. Now solders are fighting 2 enemy's and strain the economy. Mend now sees a opening and now nigeria is fighting a war and 2 civil wars this will have repercussions through out the country and since nigeria is a regional power the rest of west africa and even the rest of africa then the world. Welcome to the butterfly effect where a small thing can cause a massive problem.I pray it wont escalate to that level because most of the secessionist like Biafra &co will see it as an opportunity to heat up the polity...and nigeria may not survive this one. *everything seems to be fallen apart this time* |
