Abakaliki itself is a glorified village. When person comot Abakaliki, the poverty level outside the state capital is scary.

It was so hard for me to see a Yoruba man in abakaliki. I didn't see a single Yoruba man throughout my stay in Abakaliki and other part of the poverty ravage Ebonyi state.

Go Shagamu, Ijebu ode, ijebu Igbo, Abeokuta, Ota, Sango, magboro and other parts of Ogun state, you will see Igbos in large numbers.

Oga dustbin landlord ur area is very doom with dirty everywhere, in Abakaliki u feel like coming back.

This is a good architectural masterpiece but it is not helping the prevalance of the poverty of Ebonyi people especially the civil servants who are groaning under the financial crunch Dave Umahi is subjecting them to.

So what happens to the old government house along Ogoja Road? Instead of wasting mearger state resources, why not embark on projects that have meaningfully impact on the lives of the natives?

There's confusions everywhere even in Abuja, so what I think Dave is trying to do is to open all channels for massive development, he wants to open everywhere so that the next person can focus on other areas.

Say what you know, the major market the state capital are open but no single shop is open, the state government threatened to deal with any chairman of the market who refuses to open their gate for anybody.


Yet the International market, motorcycle spare parts market, Building material site, motor spare parts site and timber shape were all scanty.

Do you know that an average Nigerians loves themselves being it Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba to an extent until our politicians put a knife on what hold us together, today nobody wants to see each other face to face again.

I can still remember when many Nairalanders shares money last year during covid-19.
