Even if we pray to live very long can we really move on from living to see some of our loved ones die.

When I think about death, it makes me feel sad and heartbroken.

Death is a normal thing in this life, and nobody can run away from it. So instead of feeling sad about it start thinking of how to fulfill purpose, how to make great impact in your world and also to set a good legacy before your time comes. At thesame time pray for grace.

lately, I have been thinking that for my life to change I must get married. I have been living in squalor for so long. Maybe when I get married and have another mouth to feed, I will have more derive to excape poverty.

Imagine the irresponsible question you're asking me. Nigeria women with their dependency and lazy mentality. If you women will even get the chance to get paid for doing nothing you all will gladly accept it. Learn to take responsibility for your life and do something that will earn you huge cash with less working time. I know people that work 3 times a week and the least salary they receive is 500k. Those people are highly valuable so their employers don't joke with them. But You dull-headed Nigerian women won't think of adding value to your lives instead ya'll are thinking of high pay with less or no working time.
This is my sincere advice to you, creativity and value is key. be creative and add value to your life and see if that huge paycheck and less working time you crave for won't find you.

The person I replied too is the one who brought up this talk of marriage not benefiting men and I replied her by telling her if she know the reason why we have more widows than widowers in our society she will know that marriage benefit women more than the men.


Secondly, men that doesn't benefit from marriage are those who got married to demon-like, selfish and heartless kind of women that's why they end up not enjoying their sacrifices in their family over the years. What does division of labor look like in your family?

It looks perfect. while I was growing up my mum does her part by bathing and dressing us before taking us to school, sometimes we go on our own cos we are 5 in number, then she comes back to continue preparing for her business because she sells food in one of those secondary schools in town. So after that she move to her point of business where she sales food till in the evening wen all of us go to her place of selling to eat our Afternoon food and also continue to help her with her business till we come back by 4pm or so. On my dad part he leaves the house as early as 8am in the morning to his shop where he does his technician job till in the evening by 6PM before he returns. To be honest it wasn't easy for both of them, cos sometimes I see it in their eyes. My dad escaped death twice because of the nature of his job, he always deal with gas. It got to a point my mum had stop instruct we the boys to go to our fathers shop and help him. It wasn't easy I won't lie. But as we were growing up we started helping out, my elder sister start doing anything that has to do with cooking in the house so my mum relaxed a little bit in that area. Sometimes my dad if his free he do cook for the house too, he was one of the people that encouraged me to start cooking on my own.

So that's just how it works, but it wasn't easy for both of them until we the children start playing our own role too by helping out. But there's never a day my mum and my dad quarreled because he or she is not helping each other out, rather is we the children that must do our work and if we fail my mum report us to our dad for serious punishment. So that's just it, everyone with his own role to play in the family, like I said it's not easy but you have to do what you have to do to keep the family going, it's called responsibility in English language.
