My brother was scammed of 6m 3 years ago in Onitsha. The scammers were tracked to Lagos and arrested.

I was scammed of 1.5m here in Lagos last year. The guy ran to Abia and hide himself and was still taking calls saying he is in lagos Police tracked him, called him on phone and told him his exact location and gave him 24hrs to refund the money or get arrested. He refunded only 1.3m sha.

Some people were threatening my younger sister in Onitsha two weeks ago. Saying they are IPOB and my sister should send money for 10 bags of rice or they will come and kidnap some kids from her school. We tracked them and find out the idiots are in Lagos

3m is huge amount. Normally police don't track criminals if the amount is small because of the cost.

Something terrible happened to me and other guys involved last week friday. It all started 3 to 4 months back when I was introduced to this guy named joshua abolaji boluwatife by a friend who works in thesame hotel this guy who claimed to be a football agent was lodging. He told me wen I met him that he is the zonal agent of a football academy in lagos named hoffnung international football academy. He said he was sent by the management to come open a branch in kano, that his boss gave him 4 slots to bring any player of his choice that will be included for the coming trials in lagos, benue and abuja. So I agreed with mr joshua and told him am ready if he will include me, so he said no problem that he will pick me and give some form to fill. After I collected and filled the form he started bringing up money issues that i need to send some little amount for the waybill of the document to lagos, is around 10k, and i paid 4 to 5 times for that waybill. Secondly, he started charging money for other stuffs, that I don't need to participate in the trials that I'll just be included among the successful players that will be travelling to Germany, but I'll have to spend some little money b4 my name will be on the list. I suspected this guy from the beginning, I told my friend that introduced me to him that I don't trust this guy, and I also told him that football system doesn't work like this, I sensed a lot of lies in his statement. And also each time I question the guy about his management and their office in lagos his countenance will change, it got to a point both of us had issues because of the way I was questioning and watching him, but my guy kept on telling me to calm down that opportunity sometimes can disguise itself. That I should just follow him gradually, and I told him you don't know much about football me I know how football things work, this guy doesn't look like someone that comes from a big academy in lagos, his appearance and words is not showing it, but what he said is calm down and follow him and see how it ends. So I agreed with my guy and started following him gradually.

To cut the long story short, he told me and other footballers and my guy too, my guy later joined because he promised to give him job abroad, he told us to get what they call Basic Travelling Allowance which is €600 euros , that we will use it as our pocket money wen we get there, but their boss and the foreign scout from Germany must see the money when they come to commission the office in kano before we finally move out of the country. So we agreed. He gave us the number of two other people who claim to be his boss and coach of the academy, so I normally communicate with them most time on phone. So last week Thursday was wen they said they'll be arriving in kano so they can finish their engagement and then move out. So the guy here in kano we've been having face to face discussion with went and book the hotel room in another place in town for them. But according to them, Thursday they came but can't see any players until Friday. So friday we are supposed to meet the management bosses in the hotel, he collected our BTA that he will change the naira to a foreign currency since me I didn't change mine and my BTA is not complete that the boss will secure some euros to help me complete mine. Only for this guy to keep me in a separate room in the hotel where he claimed is for some staff that are coming and the other players and jobseekers in his room in the hotel, but later he told them to move to the upper floor which is an open bar, that the interview will take place there with the management and the job seekers. But while he was telling the others to go up, he told me to wait that he's bringing my visa and passport and also the changed foreign currency to me in the room, so I said ok. After all this arrangement by the guy, he was planning to move with our cash which he later did. The guy disappeared from the premises. It was after like 1hour something started telling check me that might have ran away with our money o, that's wen I started the room if I'll find any luggage from him or the incoming staff but I couldn't find anything. I called my guy in the other room to ask him but he told me the guy went out that he's coming. I tried his
lines and other of his colleagues line but all was switched off. Immediately I went to the room where other people were sitting waiting for him , I checked everywhere but couldn't find of his luggage but saw all our passport where he dropped them inside an envelope, that's wen I concluded that the guy has ran away with our money. That's wen other people's eye got opened and they started shouting, but it was too late.


Pls I need help on how I can track this guy, he uses opay account no 7040531431 joshua abolaji boluwatife, opay. The transactions we did with him was transfer to his opay account and hand-cash delivery. What he collected from 4 of us around 3million naira.
