Politics / Re: Why Do Yorubas Show Strangers Wrong Way When They Ask For Direction by ACM10: 1:27pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
I've had similar experiences in Oshodi, Iyaniba, Maryland and Satellite town. It is more with middle-aged Yoruba women. Most of them are barely educated and hardly speak pidgin English. They will first stare at you in a hostile manner, even after greeting them (maybe they expected me to prostrate). Despite my experience, I did not generalize, but I concluded that Lagosians are hostile to strangers. I noticed that I get better direction from nicely dressed men. |

He he he he he. . . . I came to this thread to laugh. I found some comments and retorts quite hilarious. ADVICE: that ancient city crap does not fly. Most of those buildings are less than a century, but you tagged them ancient architecture solely on the premise of brown roofs. Opiaoku and other pyschos should softpedal and treat Ibadanites with respect and dignity. 3 Likes |

The truth is that no Igbo leader wants to be in a bad book of Nnamdi Kanu. That guy is a mad dog and takes order from no one. He is more credible than any Igbo leader alive and commands more followers than all of them put together. No one wants to be attacked by him in the media. I'm afraid, ACF will fight this battle alone. Gone are the days of the tactics of using Igbos to fight Igbos. That tactics will not work against Nnamdi Kanu. 7 Likes |

Photoshop gone bad. I have this textbook. There is no watermark in it. He just informed me that he left the book in their family house in Gboko. I will update with pictures as soon as I get the book. |

LastProphet: From having a first hand account; your story is slowly assuming a new dimension. You must be an unscrupulous character. i am not hausa, ibo or Yoruba and have no wish to be any, am from kogi please, idah to be preciseDo we really care? you are the same guy with that hopeless ibo boy acm10 logging in with another profile since he has been put to shame. you ibos are a really pathetic lotNot only are you pathetic, stupid and unscrupulous; you are also delusional. Everyone cannot be a dishonest character like you. |
Politics / Re: If Igbos Are Butchered Again, Nigeria Will Break; Fani- Kayode Warns by ACM10: 8:05am On Aug 22, 2015 |
LastProphet: Normally, I don't insult people on this forum, but I can't keep quiet when a riffraff like you insults my father. I'm a busy person and the nature of my job makes me work round the clock most of the time. So, I hardly have time to engage in long fruitless debate with someone that resists knowledge. 1. I expected you to quote Nowa Omoigui article, that's what impressionable kids do when they are cornered in a debate here. I've been a member of NL since 2010; during my stay I've debated this topic over and over again. You will notice Nowa Omoigui frequent use of the term "there were reports", "alleged". To cap his fiction, he assigned a hit song (Ewu ne be akwa) released in 1964 by Late Cardinal Jim Rex Lawson to Celestine Ukwu. It may interest you to know that Rex Lawson is from Kalabari in River state. you can search for the song on Youtube. How can a song of 1964 mock an event of 1966? He must be a Nostrademus incarnate. There is nothing provocative about the song, I play it everyday in my car. I can provide the lyrics its translation, if you care. 2. Have you ever wondered why Nigeria refused to include th events of the civil war as part of the curriculum in school? 'cos they will be embarrassed by the truth. Why is Nowa Omoigui, the only author that referred to the so-called "Igbo provocations?" Do you know that Nowa Omoigui has been shamed over and over again with facts. No notable author bothers to quote his fiction. I can go on and on, but my program is tight; moreover I am typing with my phone. I will respond to other laughable assertions of yours if time permits? Duru1 we have Omoigui disciple here. |

LastProphet: You are not making sense. Are you mentally ret@rded from birth or did you acquire it from chronic fura de nunu drinking binge? You drew a blank analogy to cover your hate-filled fictional comment. You are too mentally slow to contribute to a discussion of this nature. #LastFoolishProphet |
