Politics › Re: Why I Am Owing 13 Months' Salary - Okorocha by ACM10: 10:01pm On May 06, 2015 |
I thought Abagworo posits that Imo state is Nigeria's tourism capital. So tourism can't generate enough revenue to pay Imo workers. Which kain fake tourists dey visit Owerri. Obiano raised workers salary despite shortfall in federal allocations by closing the gap with IGR. I guess chino / oneeast is right after all. |
Politics › Re: Igbos Picket Dr Ariyo's Office Over Hate Comments - Pics by ACM10: 7:34pm On May 06, 2015 |
The man deserves all the attention he is getting. Though I will feel bad seeing him lose his job or licence. I think he acted foolishly. There is nothing wrong with sympathizing with his kinsmen, but calling for the extermination of the other tribe is condemnable. Igbos have suffered violence on a great scale in this country. There is hardly any Igbo family that has not lost a loved one through war or violence in this country. That explains our aggressiveness in nipping hate speeches to the bud. Our fathers failed to fight the propaganda, lies and hate speeches pre-1967. It snowballed to civil war and great massacre. All these events are green in our memory. Nigerians wondered why we rejected Buhari, not knowing that he took part in several atrocities during the war; e.g execution style killing of 300 worshippers at Apostolic church Onitsha. Sometimes I wonder why it is so difficult for Nigerians to place themselves in another tribe shoes.
The man is a big fish and his position carries a lot of weight, so he should be mindful of what he posts online. When he starts getting unwelcome attention, he should blame himself. Envy has nothing to do with it. |

Choi threadi a di very hot na mgbede a. Umunnem wetue nu obi ana. Iwe unu dajuo. Frankly I am angry with Obiano for his preference of Tata over our own indigenous IVM. The excuse of availability of spare parts is bullshyt. Innoson buses spare parts are readily available. Innoson vehicles are far better than Tata in terms of performance and durability. I have used the two buses when I was a student in Enugu so I'm in a better position to make a review. Most of the Tata buses in Enugu town service has broken down, but Innoson buses are still active. Obiano's excuse is ludicrous. But I still support his developmental strides. Anything that can moves the state to the next level of development will have my support. |

dBard: Aribisala, like him or not, has raised Very Important points that I thought would be the basis of intelligent discourse but as usual, it's a replay of the usual ridiculous NL response, even by the self acclaimed intelligentsia, most of whom didn't bother reading the post.
it is well.. It is well my brother. Don't expect intelligent response here. NL is filled with ultra-partsan posters who never accept opinions other than to their own. Pastor Aribisala made some interesting remarks which should be of concern to every average intelligent Nigerians who are interested in strengthening our democracy. But trust majority of Nigerians to exhibit their usual shortsightedness. Aribisala's take will start making sense 8 years from now when north will use their apparent poll superiority to intimidate other Nigerians. |

Princeojua: Hi Nairalanders. I am a confirm elite of this great forum. I go by the name Sammy.
Last year I packed into a Self-Contained apartment near my school. Opposite me is a wonderful family with two daughters and two sons, with a strict and disciplinarian. father.
I was seating right in my veranda reading because I suppose that's my purpose of being there, when, a young girl of 17years old and in SS3 approached me with an exercise book supposing to be a Maths assignment. I didn't hide the fact that I know nothing about maths. I boldly refused doing the assignment, so she left.
Two days after, she resurfaced with English assignment, and I quickly did justice to it. after the assignment. I didn't know when I said "you're beautiful and I Love you."
She quickly reciprocate in strong affirmation I LOVE YOU TOO. So last week, she came to my house 6days after her menstruation and I had an unprotected sex with her.
Ever since then, my conscience has been disturbing me that the sex may result to pregnancy. Her Dad is a brutal and uncompromising man.
Please what should I do in case anything go wrong? Because I am already giving up on her due to her Dad. she told me today that she feel guilty ever since the day I deflowered her.
Help me out please. I think my Dad will not support me either because he's more brutal than her Dad. God, help me. Having sex six days after menstruation will not result in pregnancy. Quote me any where. You should be more worried about STI |

The truth is that opposition is yet to master the act of ruling. While in power, they may still behave like opposition by acting irresponsibly. Opposition has poor skills in consolidating power. You guys should stop acting like sissies. Any attempt by Buhari and his cohort to marginalize the east will hasten his downfall. Relax and watch the events unfold. His ardent supporters might turn against him one year from now. Igbos are bigger than Buhari. He is the one to work hard to win our support. He can't afford to make Igboland the hotbed of opposition because, opposition can use it as a base to spring back to power, just the same way APC used Lagos. Seriously I don't see any dark cloud in Buharis government. We should not be afraid of the future. |
