FK081, do you really take these pictures on your own initiative? Because what you are doing is indeed a difficult task. I visited Anambra last two weeks to attend the burial of my former boss late mother. After the burial, I drove to head bridge to buy some drugs. I was so impressed with the newfound cleanliness of the area. I parked my car in the car park close to the rest room. I wanted to snap a pix of the restroom, but my patience was stretched thin. I took the pix of the area during the time of Peter Obi and Hausa saga, when he wanted to clear and beautify the area. It was an eyesore. The pix is in one of the threads here. We've come a long way. I paid #10,000 in Onitsha FRSC office to get mine. Even at that, it took me six months go get the permanent licence. Those who insisted on the due process were made to go through process that consumed their precious time and ended up paying more. Before obtaining my permanent licence, I was forced to pay extra #3000 by the Anambra IGR office, even though I work and pay my tax in another state. FRSC is corrupt.

These antiquated machines belong to the museum. What a joke!

It is wrong for a doctor to rely on the patient account only. Any case of bleeding per vaginam, amenorrhoea and lower abdominal pain with a positive BHCG test should make the doctor think of ectopic pregnancy and abortion(?type). This is when his clinical skills comes into play in making proper diagnosis. He has nothing to lose if he operates. Infact he will be commended for doing a timely exploratory laparotomy.

The doctor was out of it entirely, it is ethically wrong to operate a patient based on the clinical history, is there no ultrasound machine?or a radiologist who would have confirmed whether it was ectopic pregnancy or ruptured appendix? You just went and operated upon a patient based on suspect . Dts why she came to the hospital for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Any case of acute abdomen is an indication for exploratory laparotomy. The doctor did the right thing by operating, but he intervened late. Doctors working in the rural facilities do not have the luxury of ultrasound machine. So they must rely on their clinical acumen to do the right thing.

This is not a joke, my dear. The doctor is clearly incompetent. The doctor should atleast do BHCG and abdominopelvic ultrasound scan. His index of suspicion for ectopic pregnancy should have been high when a young girl of child bearing age presented to him with amenorrhoea, bleeding per vaginam and acute abdomen. He should have atleast stabilized the patient and refer. Relying on patient's account can mislead you. This is a case of negligence of duty on the background of incompetence.

2000 Avalon uses Dexron 3 fluid. When i am in Nigeria, the best place i can trust to get it is Oando. They usually sell for about N1,000. Not sure about the current price as of now but should be in the same range. Any Oando should have it.

Make sure its Dexron III and not 2.

Sometimes if you remove the gear oil gauge stick, it will be written there.

I thought Indonesia is a country with more than 100 islands. If I'm a trafficker, I won't dare use the airport. I met one retired trafficker two years ago, in the course of our gist, he told me how he use to enter Vietnam, China, Thailand and Malaysia through Appian way. He went ahead to show me some of their paths on Google map. I was so surprised by how well he knows those countries. Presently he has gone legit. Youths should stay off drugs. I don't support drug trafficking.
