Please what birth certificate is sufficient to not get RFE on adjustment of status? I was born in 1991 and my parents were only able to obtain NPC attestation of birth. I also have sworn declaration of age (from both parents).
Are those sufficient to avoid RFE?
Or do I need birth certificate from hospital that I was born as well?

Also please does anyone know any NPC location that offers NPC birth certificate or contact info. I was born in 1991 and was hoping I would get birth certificate from NPC and not attestation of birth.
Please advise.
You have to use a birth certificate. That's what I used, but some people said they used age attestation. Don't do it since you are trying to avoid RFE.

Wow. First off, congrats again
Adjusting status from a B1/B2 in the US is really a rare case, I'm glad yours was successful.
Thanks a lot. I think it's faster when you are married to a white. My interview that took me sleepless nights to prepare for was a walk over.

They only asked us questions related to what we filled in the forms. In the end, I was like 'is this this the interview '?
2 weeks after the interview,I got my card.

Which SC did you file at and what city are you resident in?
This one think I have time to be on here exchanging words and arguing over shit'ty issues.
Who are you again? Why should I give you those details you asked for?

I am a self taught coder. I have never been to the US. I was just making a case for how one can become a software developer which is in the white collar job category or even way better without having a degree. There are tons of resources out there for one to learn how to code. This pandemic period can be used wisely

Thanks. All the best,bro

P.S: Creating a thread will definitely be awesome too, even if you post once or twice a week. Just share some experience over there so we too can learn from you
It was B1/B2..
I didn't get my permit 7 months of getting into the US. The process of applying for change of status took a total of 7 months .
I have been in the US for 1 year now

Oh..thought you were in the US since you mentioned dollars. My bad

Please, how challenging? How much did you pay,and what's the range of what you make now? Did it take long before you got the job?

I'm looking for what to study

I'm now a PERMANENT RESIDENT of the USA.

Blow'job, you won't believe how much you inspired me. I started following and reading this thread before I even applied for Visa. Here I am today,a green card holder. The process took just 7 months. I am super grateful.

I wish I could create a thread,but I haven't got the time.

Next thing is to know the right good paying certification course to study

Which state be that bros and which kain work? Abeg I go like make you ja mi si
It is a factory. The factories here are so neat and safe. You'd be amazed.I work for a company that manufactures chevy,Toyota,Buick etc head lamps and light .

The hard part about factory jobs is the standing. Every work is done standing. Imagine standing for 12 hours every day (though there are breaks). The thought of what you'd take home every Friday will ginger you.

I'm sorry I can't mention the state for security reasons .
America is a great country. If you plan well before coming, you could have your EAD in less than a year after entry and possibly get your green not later than 2 years of entry.

Leaving Nigeria has been the best decision I ever made. I only wish I left earlier.
I never get papers, but I'm balling hard. Making nothing less than 4000$ every month. I work 12 hours (6 times a week )My expenses every month isn't more than 1200$. This amount isn't near what I hope to be making once my papers land. It's almost here. Definitely going back to school...

If you want to hussle in the states, you must be hardworking and willing to do overtime .Start exercising before you come, that way the job won't be hard on your muscles lol. I don't see my job as hard though. Choose the right state. Forget the big states for a start. JOBS plenty where I dey.. Question is;you get the energy to work?

"You made 9k working". Did you have the right authorization?

As much as I wanted to advise you to buy property in Nigeria, don't buy a "rentals" if you won't be around to monitor it.

"Onigbese", plenty for naija especially when they know you ain't around. They will use your rental anyhow, not pay rent and run away with your funds. (True life story bro)

You're better off buying a land, do all your documentation of the said land in hope the flip it in nearest future (the downside is inflation and exchange rate). The land option is a less headache.

I'm assuming what you have is a visit visa. There's no way I can advise you positively without you breaking your Visa rule. What I can only encourage you to do is visit. Maybe something would come up that will change your immigration history.

Be aware that you showing intention overstaying your visit visa (AND TALKING OPENING ABOUT IT) is already a ground for entry refusal. And you're very easy to find ( A Nigerian passport holder, previously visited from August to Nov, has an Angola visa or entry permit stamps on his passport and possibly traveling with wads of cash). Thread carefully, mind what you say on public forums.
I didn't have the right authorization, bro. It was wrong of me,but better than engaging in crimes..which some of my guys be wan link me to.

I will go for the land option. Thanks.
I think I revealed so much . Just realised now that you mentioned it.I think I know what to do about it so as not to.....

Thank you for this.

Congrats G.

I need advice, guys. I was in the US last year (Aug to Nov)I made 9k$ working. I had to return to Naija cos I got an opportunity to supervise a project in Angola. Done with that and back in Naija.
I made 17k$ from Angola.

I was thinking about starting a business ,but Everything here is doing me' left hand left hand'. I can't live here anymore . Nigeria is a mess..forgive me... I enjoyed sanity while away(something Nigeria never gave and would never give me ),and I'm about to lose it just 3 weeks in? Kole work!

Now, i'm thinking buying a property with the money I made and running backto the US. I m also worried about getting my EAD and PR.. I no wan do arrangee..e don dey cast wella .

What do you suggest ? I'm already feeling frustrated being back.

150 to 200 years from now, marriage will be abolished.

^
Marriage is over rated.
Our women achieve more without marriage, and as a result they don't see the need.
Many who are married today, did so cos of societal pressure.
^
Dear humans, STOP birthing children you can't raise. So many lost and idiotic humans fill the earth. STOP!

They designed humans and disappeared back to their beautiful and well advanced planet . They should better come back and fix the earth.

From the comments here,it must really be tough being a woman in Africa . I feel for our women. We put so much pressure on people in Nigeria, men and women alike. If they are not pressuring you to marry and born unnecessary children, they're pressuring you to make money.

It's a tough world.
I feel her 'sold out' show was not hyped enough, like how Wizs' was hyped.

None of my business. I got my own issues, but ain't letting nothing weigh me down.

We Live. We Die. Enjoy life. Let no mofo pressure you.

I know the father personally. He is my friend. I was in service the day it happened. A4 has produced songs for Sinach, Eben, JoePraize, Frank, etc, and also Moments of Worship by Pastor Chris.

This is very valid. Very valid. To those saying the man didn't look like whose child passed on. That's faith. Faith calls things that be not as though they were. Roms 4:17, and that's why he prevailed. We had programs with Pastor Chris after the incident and the guy was still on the sound mixer; sometimes with tears in his eyes, but he refused to seat at home worried. The first one week of the incident, he almost committed suicide.

We can't say it all on social media, but let's thank God for his mercies and the gift of social media.

God bless you.
He had that much faith, and also almost committed suicide?
Ok o. Na una sabi.
