Dear Scholar, I need your judgement in the light of Islamic Shareeah over the act of zoophillia also know as zoo-sexuality or such acts whether it is done with animal or dead animal or dead human body the punishment for this act is not available by Muslim scholars. Kindly brief the Islamic point of view over all these type of acts e.g homosexuality, beastality, zoosexuality having sex withe dead corps or such types of other evils. I urge to publish the judgment for the above topic over the internet so that the common people can know and answer the non Muslims who say that in Islam it is not prohibited and as a proof they also quote the fatwa of some scholars. Jazakallahu Khaer.

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Bestiality is a grave sin and a reprehensible misdeed. Allaah, The Exalted, says (what means): {And do not approach immoralities – what is apparent of them and what is concealed.} [Quran 6:151] The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "Cursed is he who curses his father; cursed is he who curses his mother; cursed is he who dedicates an animal sacrifice to other than Allaah; cursed is he who meddles with the borders of someone's land (unjustly alters the landmark to encroach upon that land); cursed is he who misleads a blind person away from his path; cursed is he who has intercourse with an animal; cursed is he who does the act of the people of Loot (sodomy)." [Ahmad - Al-Arnaa’oot said its Isnaad (chain of narrators) is Hasan (good)]

The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, also said: "If someone engages in sexual intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill the animal." [Ahmad and others - Al-Arnaa’oot said its Isnaad is Hasan]

We have underlined the punishment of having sex with an animal in Fatwa 197803, so please refer to it.

There is no difference of opinion among the scholars regarding the prohibition of having sexual activity with a corpse; however, they only held different opinions as to whether the person who engages in sexual activity with a corpse is liable to receive the Hadd (i.e. punishment prescribed in the Sharee‘ah). The Maalikis maintained that he is liable to receive it. The Hanafis, on the other hand, held that he is liable only to receive Ta‘zeer (i.e. discretionary punishment); this was also the more valid opinion according to the Shaafi‘is and Hanbalis. As to bestiality, the majority of the scholars held there is no prescribed Hadd associated with it.

Al-Mawsoo‘ah Al-Fiqhiyyah (Kuwaiti Encyclopedia of Jurisprudence) reads, "The Hadd is not required in case of sexual contact with a corpse according to the majority of Muslim scholars because it is repulsive to sound human nature and thus does not require the application of the Hadd for Zina (fornication) as deterrence. The outweighed opinion according to the Shaafi‘is and one of the scholarly opinions of the Hanbalis is that the Hadd is incumbent on whoever engages in sexual activity with a corpse because having intercourse with a dead woman is similar to doing so with a living one. In addition, the sin is graver and the prohibition is more emphasized as it also involves violating the sanctity of the dead body. This is also the chosen opinion of Al-Awzaa‘i."

As for homosexuality, which consists of sodomy, the jurists unanimously agreed that it is prohibited. They also unanimously maintained that it is prohibited to have intercourse with an animal. This is well-known to all Muslims, so how could it be claimed that such acts are permissible in Islam, although lay Muslims, let alone scholars, know that it is prohibited?

Dear Brother, please note that being in company of the righteous servants of Allah and in gatherings where remembrance is given is one of the things that can render the assistance you require. Gathering of remembrance here do not mean "Asalatu" gatherings, rather I mean gatherings where Islamic lectures are been given. Please identify one or two of such gatherings near you and cling unto it. Another thing is frequent recitation of the Noble Qur'an. Make the Qur'an your companion and always reflect upon the messages therein. Never stay a day without reciting at least a page or two from the Qur'an. This would in shaa Allah strengthen your faith. May Allah increase you in Eeman and make good deeds and sincerity easy for you.

please i need your help and guidance because i am loosing my faith day by day, i begin to see more reality in science than religion. Some times it will seems to me like i am just wasting my time over religion, i don't know whether it is Satan that is trying to confuse me, but every day i will be having unnecessary thought.




Note: i have positive and negative side of me.

Positive;

I don't skip my five daily prayers, and i always pray 3-4 out of the 5 in congregation, I hardly miss juma'at congregational prayer, i don't "fornicate" in any way, i always give out saddaqa to the needy, i neither drink nor smoke.


Negative side of me:


I don't recite the Quran often in fact since after Ramadan i rarely lay my hands on the quran, i don't usually fast except during Ramadan, clubbing is now part of me, i rarely pray subhi prayer in congregation.


But the problem is whenever i pray the immann is not there,
i hardly feel the connection between me and my God, please help my faith is just dropping on daily basis.




My dad is so westernized that he doesn't care about religion, while my mom is from a well known religious family in her home state. I think i took after my dad.










Please i need help, is just like i am fast becoming an Atheist.

This verse is often quoted to show that Islam is intolerant.

Quran is a complete book of guidance and while studying various issues it should be kept in mind that a particular issue may be discussed over several chapters or several verses in the same chapter. A complete understanding can only be achieved by understanding the whole issue as presented over all the verses and chapters and not by looking at only part of the Quran. God specifically warns us against doing just that, upholding part of the Quran while disregarding the rest.

.. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do you reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life? – and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For God is not unmindful of what ye do. (Quran 2:85)

To understand the issue of befriending the Jews, Christians or people of any other faith, we have to study all the concerned verses from the Quran collectively.

Let us look at some other verses about this issue. The following two verses regulate relations with any people, regardless of faith:

As for such [of the unbelievers] as do not fight against you on account of [your] faith, and neither drive you forth from your homelands, God does not forbid you to show them kindness and to behave towards them with full equity: for, verily, God loves those who act equitably. (Quran 60:

God only forbids you to turn in friendship towards such as fight against you because of [your] faith, and drive you forth from your homelands, or aid [others] in driving you forth: and as for those [from among you] who turn towards them in friendship; it is they, they who are truly wrongdoers! (Quran 60:9)

From the above verses, we learn that we are only discouraged from befriending those who fight Muslims because of their religion. Now let’s go back to the verse immediately after 5:51, to see if it sheds some further light on the issue.

And yet you can not see how those in whose hearts there is disease vie with one another for their good will (the hostile Jews and Christians), saying [to themselves], "We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us disaster." But God may well bring about good fortune [for the believers] or any [other] event of His own devising, whereupon those [waverers] will be smitten with remorse for the thoughts which they had secretly harboured within themselves- (Quran 5:52)

During the time of the Prophet when the Jews and Christians were in open conflict with the Muslims, there were some Muslims who were more concerned about maintaining there alliances with the Jews and Christians at the expense of the Muslim community. The above verse is referring to such situations where Muslims with doubts in their hearts will ally themselves with the enemy.

Chapter 5 Verse 57 of the Quran makes it clear again, who are not to be taken as friends; O you who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but remain conscious of God, if you are (truly) believers. (Quran 5:57)
