Christianity Etc › Re: How Do I Explain To My Parents That I Don't Want To Belong To Any Religion by actright2(m): 11:42am On Aug 09, 2021 |
You only need to understand what religion really is and what it is not. For instance, you have taken Islam as nothing else other than the ideology and operations of Boko Haraam and other terrorist organizations. This is far from it. As a matter of fact, Muslims do not agree with such actions as those exhibited by such terrorists. Holding on to pristine Islaam gives you the peace of mind everyone seeks. Study Islamic religion and you'll appreciate this. indadi: My Dad called me this evening to tell me the essence of praying. The thing is that I don't believe praying solves anything Atleast to me. the day I stopped believing and started working more on myself, I found out that things started getting better for me than those who goes to the Church and Mosques.
When I think about a lot of things I have read and what I have experienced I feel like I have always been deceived all my life.
The Pastors and Prophets with their fake miracles or the Boko Haram and their suicide with the reasons of going to heaven to get virgins.
I currently live with them though I plan on moving to my own place by the end of this year or early next year.
I really want to tell them in a polite way so they can accept my way.
My Dad won't accept this, as he believes that it is God or nothing. |

Firstly, you need to know that those schools are Government Schools and not Christian Schools. Secondly, Government Schools with names such as Nawair-ud-Deen, Ansaru... etc. also admit non-Muslim pupils and they are not treated the way those CAC, CMS,Baptist etc.. Government Schools treat the Muslim kids. Check the records! Danzakidakura: can Islamic schools admit a Christian student in their school, not to talk of allowing her put on her religions clothes. Don't be bias. Why can't the Muslims withdraw their children from the said Christians school and take the to were hijab is accepted. |
Education › Re: Kwara Hijab Controversy: Government Deploys Security To Schools In Ilorin by actright2(m): 12:20pm On Mar 09, 2021 |
Common! Al-Hikmah University is a Private School established on Islamic principles. The schools in question are some of the mission schools which Kwara State Government has been funding 100%. You may compare such schools with the likes of Nawairu-ud-deen, Ansar-ul-Islam etc. which were established by Islamic Missionaries but were also taken over by Governments just like the CMS, Baptist etc. Schools (in question). Christian pupils in such schools as Nawairu-ud-Deen etc. are not forced into Islamic dress codes or even taking Islamic Studies. Please check! 4ckyou: We are saying the same thing, if it is compulsory for Christians to wear hijab there then Muslim should also abide by the rules governing a Christian school |
