Ogun state has recently and constantly been in the news for negativity. What's really happening? Very soon, it might overtake Katsina with the level of infrastructural decadence bedeviling the state or could this be the handiwork of political rivals? Like people who want to get into power through the backdoor? (According to Buhari) |
Apc SMH. They win elections by propaganda and rule after elections by propaganda. Even after elections, they continue to campaign. The other day, Femi Adeshina was listing imaginary achievements by Buhari amidst the height of insecurity, religious and ethnic divisions bedeviling the country, rising cost of foodstuffs and other house hold items and daily maiming perpetrated by Buhari's nephews and distant cousins all the way from Niger and Chad Republics on the indigenous people of Nigeria. Well, all these ends in 2023. The good news is that Buhari is giving it hot hot to everybody. Hardship of penury and insecurity does not identify people by either their PVC or whatever party we represent. By the time subsidy removal is fully implemented, north will suffer more on pricing because if fuel sells in Lagos @ N400 per litre, the projected rate in North East will be about N600 per litre. |

A Federal Government that can't manage Doctors, military men, Lecturers, and other facet of the economy thinks it can manage Farm estates across the senatorial districts of the country? Who is fooling who? Buhari should know we already know his gimmicks and antics. Why don't they implement this farm estates down north? After all , they have the massive land. Which land do they expect from Lagos, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Cross River, Abia, and Akwa Ibom that will be sufficient for farming if not that this is a decoy to spread Fulanization across the country. The untapped lands in Borno, Katsina, Sokoto, Kaduna, Niger, Kano, Jigawa, Yobe etc is enough to feed the whole Africa. They think we don't know? |

I was very thrilled at this recording. I hope Africa Magic Epic can copy this category of movie. If this sort of movie can be shot in the backyard, why can't Nollywood give us something similar instead of Royal blood, the prince is mine, Stolen crown, My father my father!!! ![]() https://www.linkedin.com/posts/emmywilliamsabani_emmywilliams-film-filmfestival-activity-6832357719215767552-G2gH |
raybenny:Akinwunmi Adeshina, Prof Pat Utomi. There are several other people we do not know yet |
Abohboy:That's very insightful. Does MOP have a presidential candidate or a list of aspirants yet? |
No one cares. We're aware you lots want to just take advantage of the calamitous situation Buhari has put us to. Not like you guys have any roadmap or selfless plans to improving the economy. Just like what APC did in 2015. They just took advantage of the situation without any plan. Just so y'all know, we're going to be looking beyond you two (APC & PDP) in determining which party our next president will emerge so as to enlighten the incoming president to be aware that power is transient and that power belongs to the people. It's nobody's right. If you do anyhow, we show you the way out. I'm soon waiting for a time in this country when we will be able to hoist out a non performing president. We won't have to suffer and bear with the incompetencies while a vast majority of citizenry bear the crunch of the hardship. |
Their reasons for divorce may be understandable, what is terrifying is celebrating it all for show off. We're gradually losing our culture as Africans. We tend to copy the whites in all that we do forgetting our roots. This ought to call for sober reflection, assessing the shortcomings that were made but they rather chose to chase clout with it. |
Come 2023, please nobody should vote either APC or PDP coz we know all of them prostitutes except suffer never do us. We're used to their gimmicks and tactics. We need a fresh party void of all the dull criminals who have contributed to where we are today as a very poor nation despite the abundant natural and human resources that exists in this country. If we vote PDP, Buhari and his cohorts will all decamp to PDP and if we vote APC (although God forbids it), Wike, Okowa and Ortom will all decamp to APC so their sins can be forgiven. Enough of the frolicking. Meanwhile, please Nigerians, let's vote with our common sense come 2023, we are not voting for any pastor, military person, lawyer, engineer, medical practitioner or a teacher. Who we need come 2023 is an economics expert. Someone with the pragmatic capacity and intellect to revive and reposition this already dead economy otherwise such a person will become overwhelmed and will give room to corruption. Let's begin this sensitization now. It's never too early or too late. The candidate must also agree to a presidential debate. We will not be whitewashed by any person parading himself in the behavior of Buhari again. Because, I believe if we had all insisted Buhari partook in a presidential debate, many people would've seen his flaws. We can not keep doing same thing and expect a different result. It's not possible, this is no miracle. See the way bright minds are running out of the country. We will soon be left with bandits and terrorists if this country is not quickly repositioned soonest. I strongly believe if the economy becomes revived, and we are able to implement laws that will enhance ease of doing business, grow our GDP, so that Foreign Direct Investors can be encouraged to come in and invest, then everything else such as corruption, insecurity and others will automatically be tackled with the good policies in place. |

I can relate to this dehumanizing treatment. The dichotomy does not end in when applying for jobs. Even when you're working in that company. You can't go beyond a step on the ladder as an HND graduate. Many times, HND holders are used as contract staff while their BSC counterparts are permanent staff. Very dehumanizing. However, in all fairness, it's easier to get a job as an HND holder than as a BSc holder because they are subjected to meagre pay and most Nigerian firms follow the use and dump approach. I started to notice this disparity during NYSC whilst commencing the orientation registration process. I heard something like this. Graduates from Federal universities, form first line., Foreign universities, second line Private university, third line, state university, fourth line, Federal and State polytechnics, be on the 5th line and colleges the 6th line. That profiling was all shades of wrong on every side. As I was waiting for my category to be called, I remember how my self esteem dropped drastically. Seeing most of the polished in first, second, third and fourth lines and I had to just be on the fifth line. Why The annoying thing is that many people in the 5th and 6th lines looked one kind. Majority of them had natural low self esteem, could not communicate properly, and looked very dull. I felt bad that a bright HND holder like me that graduated with distinction in Banking & Finance could be ridiculed this way. Because of this, throughout my three weeks in camp, I refused to participate in camp activities. Although, it was not difficult to get a job in the financial sector, in fact, I was employed within 4months of completing the NYSC one year program but I could not also watch people that were still in secondary school while I already joined the bank, graduate from the University and become my boss. They had promotions, better career path, were giving cars while my salary remained same for 9years as a contract staff. This was what led to me quitting working in the bank despite my long years of working in the bank and having a PGD and masters and performing excellently well in my designated functions. I was angry that even though, the dichotomy between HND and BSC prevented me from being converted, why wasn't I converted despite furthering and having a masters degree? School is scam!!! Nigeria is scam!!! |

Poiu11:Why do you think it's more important than religion? |
What do we call this now? Messi came to play, score and destroy? |
theTranscriber:AntiBalaka is such an intelligent fellow but I wonder why he reasons this way. |
AntiBalaka:I think there's a misconception here. The topic suggests the scrapping of the question as it bothers on religion and ethnicity to be replaced with state of residence instead. This is not to say religion or origins of ethnicity is to be dismissed in it's entirety but to enable peaceful coexistence because humans have always existed before the advent of religion. |
AntiBalaka:Anti Balaka, you can not use a problem to create a solution. Religion is the reason for this anarchy today. Does a moslem agree with this? No... Does an Atheist agree? No... Even among the Christian denominations, not everyone agrees to this. So why can't we reach a consensus or speak in a language that everyone understands or agrees to otherwise, the world might just be completely desolate with the rising spate of killings and nonstop violence before Christ comes |
143WaZoBia:I wonder. Exactly my point. This is why the division continue to exists. As far as a Muslim is concerned, that's a christian's stuff and vice verse. |
Dymaco:Odiegwu!!! |
AntiBalaka:Only Christ? But we're able to converse freely and understand each other in English language. We need Christ to come down before we can coexist peacefully? I'm sorry, I don't agree with you. |
