Visa vignette at the moment are still 90days although that would be revised. It used to be 30days but was moved to 90days to cushion the effect of COVID and travel restrictions back then.

As long as they arrive before it expires it should be fine.

2. At the POE they may be asked to show evidence of maintenance via apps or recent statements.

Their maintenance is for their use in the UK

@duchess, in this kinda situation specifically, if the dependant couldn't make it to the UK before the expiration of the vignette, what could be the implication please ? And what could be done to validate the Visa for the dependant's future entry .

Sir , the money (your POF money ) MUST be in your account during the 28days maturity and even after it and after the issuance of Visa . This fund is for your studies in the UK as it has always been reminded here by @duchess

It's necessary you submit a copy of evidence of what you have been doing for the past ten years . This is where a reference letter and a copy of your employment letter or promotion letter suffice.

Considering the ban on dependants commencing January 2024, can a dependent's visa be renewed after the vignette had expired after 90 days of issuance by next year ? If the dependant isn't able to travel to the UK before the 90 days elapses ...

You need to ensure that your card is active for online transactions. Contact the call centre no at the back of your dollar card to confirm that please .

Depending on your course range . 12 months is $905.64 for IHS and Visa was $469 . You fund it using black market .

Yes , you choose Flexi on the portal. Then you pay for yourself and each dependants application separately. I think it's around 44k .

Paying the IHS and Visa application fee is a direct procedure as you proceed on the submission of your application . The UKVI site will direct you on the next process. Paying is by using a dollar card for both payments . But you have to pay for your IHS($905.64) first and you get a reference number which is automatically assigned to your visa application then the next is to pay for the visa fee($466).

If your card is declining, you may opt for another dollar card , or go to your bank to authorize them to enable your card be able to make online payment transactions. I experienced same issues last week Thursday while trying to make my IHS payment. I eventually ended up using two different cards for the payment . GTB prepaid dollar cards works excellently in this regards . You can get it within few minutes at any GTB branch closer to you.

Check if you have sufficient amount in you dollar card account also some banks has a different card account from the main dollar account

But what do you mean by some banks has a different card account from the main dollar account?
Does that mean the USD card issued to me by the bank could be different from the card ought to have been linked to my dollar account ? I already contacted the bank and they told me both the card and account are activated . Moreso, there is sufficient fund in the account.

Please anyone experience this on the IHS site ? I've been trying to pay for my IHS fee but this is the response I've been getting. I've contacted my bank if there are issues but they assured me my USD card and account is perfect .

Please what do I do ?

If you went through the thread from page to page you would have come across where I asked a question similar to this. However , I had no choice but to liquidate the investment account and transferred the fund to my savings account thereby losing huge interest .

Therefore, I will advise to do same in order to be on the safer side. As POF is clearly stated to be money accessible to the applicant at any time. Meanwhile, your invested fund can't be accessible until it's been liquidated .

Go to the Board of Internally Generated Revenue in your State. They will ask you to pay some certain amount of money ( I'm not sure how much) but in my state , it's 1k for one fiscal year . However, the fees would be paid spanning from three years ago e.g 2020,2021 and for 2022.

A tax certificate will be issued accordingly.

My advise will be same email for toddler and then your spouse's email for hers

I've filled my visa application form but haven't submitted it nor paid for my IHS and visa yet, because my POF is still running. I wanna fill out for my dependants (2) .

Do I use my own personal email to fill/apply on their behalf ? Or should I create an email to do that for them as my toddler doesn't have an email but spouse has hers .

Good day all, I applied to university in uk for Jan session, my visa was refused in Dec 2022 reason been that they were not convinced enough that I am a genuine student when interviewed and I applied for administrative review which I got a letter that the refusal has been overturned and also was told in the letter that my application will be sent to case worker for another decision. But to my greatest surprise it was refused, reason again was the school told UKVI that they are not sponsoring me and no CAS to be given. When I sent the mail to the school,they replied me that when UKVI contacted them if I can still join Jan that their response was no but can I can come in for September if my AR was successful and also that as at when UKVI requested for CAS l, the school said it was too early to issue CAS for September intake... I am just not happy with what I am facing and don't know way forward.

So sorry about your situation. I'll suggest you apply to another school . Two or more schools against the January 2024 intake.
