Since Nigeria is now operating Free Market economy, even election victory is now determined by market forces, the same way as petroleum products, foreign exchange transactions, etc
All the major political parties were deeply involved in votes-buying, it’s only when they lose elections that they would be claiming non-existent stolen mandate.

Prophet Ayodele’s prophecies are full of sounds and fury, signifying nothing.

No, it’s not a lie. Take for instance, when the GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) was first introduced, the costs of purchasing a phone,SIM card, and recharge card were very high.
There was even a time that both MTN and Econet (Airtel) refused to allow per/second airtime, but when Glo entered the market, everything normalized through market forces.
Tinubu’s government operates free enterprise capitalists system which allows market forces to determine allocation of resources, efficiently and effectively until we get to the equilibrium point.

Monday Okpebholo is already doing debates by talking directly with the masses, not the manipulative, artificial and stage managed media debate, in which questions would be deliberately leaked to their preferred candidate ahead of time, in order to dubiously skew public opinion in his favour.
For instance, Ruben Abati of the Arise TV was not only a PDP card carrying member, he was also their Deputy Governorship candidate in Ogun state.
He recently mockingly said they were ready to interview Okpebholo in pidgin english.
Imagine having such a person as the debate moderator or among the panelists.

Stupid questions. Atiku should first explain how he sold federal govt assets to his friends under Obasanjo. If he was sent to jail then he wouldn't be asking stupid questions. Govt should bring up his case file.

I wonder why Atiku is so agitated about acquisition of private ownership of business when he almost sold the entire assets of the nation in a jiffy, without due process and proper documentation.
He should realize that this is the era of automated single window of ease of doing business and not what obtained during his time when you have to physically shuttle between Lagos and Abuja, to get things done.

He has been vocal about his support for local refineries. But you and your people will rather spread lies, propaganda and innuendos just to suit your narrative. All due to the lack of sense and sensibility to you and your village people.

I quite agree with you. It was the President that raised a memo and sought the approval of the Federal Executive Council for the NNPC to prioritize the sales of crude oil to local refineries in Naira.
I think the President should go a step further to encourage the local refineries to come together to form an organization of local crude oil refiners and broker a truce between them and NNPC, International Oil Companies, as well as other petroleum industry regulatory agencies, because of clashes of interests.

This is a step in the right direction! When FG takes initiative like this, it shows they are listening to the needs of the people.
Affordable rice is a big deal, especially with all the rising costs lately. If we can get staple foods at reasonable prices, it will ease the burden on many households. Let’s hope this becomes a regular thing!

I actually commend all the steps being taken by the Federal Government to ameliorate the suffering of the masses, but it’s better to subsidize production rather than consumption in order to:
1. Reduce the cost of production.
2. Produce more products cheaply
3. Reduce the selling price
4. Reduce the rate of unemployment
If this protest flops,it’ll be a massive boost and a true test of the popularity of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government.

Umahi is the current minister of work. He is the immediate past governor of Ebonyi state. He was elected into the senate in 2023 election, but resigned to take the appointment of minister of works.
Simon Lalong:
Lalong is currently a senator. He is the immediate past governor of Plateau state. He was appointed minister of Labour, but resigned his ministerial position when the court declared him senator of his senatorial zone.
Considering the uncertainties and failure of this govt so far, who do you think made the right decision between the two of them?

The choice made by Simon Lalong to protect the Plateau South Senatorial position, was in the interest of the party (APC). If he had chosen to remain as a minister, there would have been a re-run election which could have probably been won by the PDP.
On the other hand, Dave Umahi chose to relinquish his Senatorial position for ministerial position because the APC is more popular in Eboyin than the PDP, based on the 2023 election results .. He has also performed well as a minister of works.

Don’t mind them, it’s the last kick of a dying horse. Monday Okpebholo completed his secondary education and obtained his senior school certificate in Jos, Plateau State. Afterwards, he obtained a degree in Business Administration from the University of Abuja and is currently undergoing a Masters' degree in Policy and Leadership Studies at the University of Abuja.

Check this out, in all public schools funded with government money in Nigeria , our money oh, including military schools, all students are forced to recite Christian prayers at the assembly , regardless of their parents religious beliefs. The only exception is on Fridays , in a very few number of schools.
Even at that, the Muslim students would be separated from the rest, before they could be allowed to say their prayers in isolation.
I challenge you to confirm this from any public school(s) of your choice.

There is nothing wrong with concurrent operations of the 4 budgets provided the under listed conditions are fulfilled :
1.The 4 budgets were those initially approved by the National Assembly.
2. The request to extend their implementation is approved by the National Assembly.
3. The budgeted amounts for each capital project is not altered
4. The elongated implementation is for the general good of the masses
I personally think it is an unprecedented innovation and creativity, never witnessed in the history of Nigeria. Let’s give it a chance.
