Exousiang01:Shell turned down the offer to run the refineries because Shell is part of the international conspiracy to perpetually ship out crude oil to their own refineries abroad and continue to import refined petroleum products into Nigeria. |
Bendeco02:PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RESULTS FROM GEOPOLITICAL ZONES NORTH WEST Tinubu scored 2,653,235 Atiku scored 2,329,802 Obi scored. 350,188 SOUTH WEST Tinubu scored 2,279,407 Atiku scored. 941,941 Obi scored. 846,478 SOUTH EAST Tinubu scored. 127,605 Atiku scored. 91,198 Obi scored. 1,960,589 SOUTH-SOUTH Tinubu scored. 799,957 Atiku scored 719,908 Obi scored. 1,210,673 NORTH EAST Tinubu scored. 1,185,458 Atiku scored. 1,741,851 Obi scored 315,108 NORTH CENTRAL Tinubu scored. 1,670,091 Atiku scored. 1,087,884 Obi scored. 1,133,840 Tinubu won the plurality of votes in the NW, NC, and SW Tinubu was second in votes scored in SE, SS, and NE. |
Biodun556:Atiku only won in the North East, he lost popular votes in the North West. Tinubu defeated him in the entire north, in fact it was the North that made Tinubu President |
Biodun556:The comprehensive modernization of all the four NNPC refineries actually started during Buhari’s administration but thanks to Tinubu for not abandoning them, which is typical of most Nigerian governments. |
dalongjnr:I quite agree with you. Buhari and Tinubu have complimented each other. Buhari laid solid foundations in the areas of provision of equipment for the military, provision of infrastructure, social investment, etc. It’s only in the management of the economy that I think he did not do well enough and Tinubu is doing well in that as well as building on the foundations laid by Buhari in security, social investment and infrastructure. |
Pakute:He should stay the course and not take us back to the dark years of the locusts. By the time Tinubu completes 8 years in office as President, Nigeria will never be the same anymore, just look at what Lagos state has become. He is the man with the Midas touch, Jagaban Borgu. |
helinues:I agree with you. I think Tinubu should reconcile with Nasr El-Rufai, he stood by him all through the turbulent period of the presidential primary and presidential elections, even when the President Buhari, Vice President Osinbajo, APC chairman Adamu Abdullahi, Senate President Ahmed Lawan and many others were against him, El- Rufai stood by him. |
rinzaugustine:Please consider the following before jumping into hasty conclusions: 1. NLC/TUC Labour unions have physically verified that the refineries are working. 2. Former Group Managing Directors of NNPC Ltd. visited the Port Harcourt refinery and confirmed that it is working. 3. The host community has also confirmed. 4. Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has confirmed. 5. South Africa, Angola, Namibia, Chad, Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic and Ghana are at advanced stages of lifting petroleum products from the Dangote Refinery. What other evidence do you want? |
IamtheTruth1:Emeka Ihedioha was removed by the court, just like David Lyon of APC in Bayelsa State. We are talking about those who were forcefully and unconstitutionally removed with brute force by Obasanjo. |
SiIk:The following are the state Governors unconstitutionally removed during the PDP years of reign of terror: 1. Ayodele Fayose (Ekiti State) 2. Muritala Nyako (Adamawa State) 3. Joshua Dariye (Plateau State) 4. Peter Obi (Anambra State) 5. Diepreye Alamieyeseigha (Bayelsa State) 6. Rasheed Ladoja (Oyo State) It’s on record that no state Governor has been removed under the APC tenures. |
SisterAnn:Kemi Badenoch does not believe in God. She is agnostic. |
Sheuns:Buhari did try a lot in security, agriculture and infrastructure, in fact he equipped the military more than any of the presidents. He also ranks highest in the provision of infrastructure. It’s only in the area of the economy that he could be scored low, which is understandable. |
STARTING FROM HOW AUDU OGBEH WAS FORCEFULLY REMOVED AS PDP CHAIRMAN AT GUN POINT BY OBASANJO "Because I challenged OBASANJO on some of his policies, all of a sudden, he rushed down to my house unannounced, requested for pounded yam. He came with all the fully armed security agents you can think of. My family was in serious panicking mood. After the meal, he washed his hands and brought out a letter asking me to read and sign. As I was reading, I saw it was my Resignation Letter as the PDP Chairman written by Obasanjo himself, a drop of water fell from my eyes, as I looked up, the security guards moved closer, I requested to go inside and get a pen, Obasanjo instantly brought out a pen from his pocket, 'this is pen sign it immediately". I signed and he told me 'Chairman, you know that for what you said today, you shouldn't be my Chairman again..." I remained dumb until he left. Thirty minutes after, he came again, I thought they wanted to kill me, I went to meet him outside, he brought out the letter and said 'you didn't put date there, oya write today's date below your signature'. I did and he left. It was a traumatic night for me and my family." - Audu Ogbe |
Tinubu should stay the course. He should speedily reinvest the proceeds of the subsidies removal as follows: 1. AGRICULTURE-He should finetune the Anchor Borrower Scheme such that payment by the Anchor, for farm produce, should be made to NIRSAL, which should now be an Agency of Fed Min of Agriculture instead of CBN. In this regard, loan defaulting would be drastically reduced if not eliminated 2. EDUCATION- In addition to the Students Loan Scheme, free textbooks ,at all levels,to be borrowed and returned at the end of every session, based on NIN. 3. NPower Program should be finetuned, such that apprentices should be attached to accredited and assisted workshops with proper assistance and monitoring. 4. CONDITIONAL CASH TRANSFER- Beneficiaries should be organized into groups and take turns to invest the lump sum on monthly basis, based on the enrollment of their children into schools. 5. FREE SCHOOL MEALS- should be extended to cover up to primary six by FG, while the state governments take care of JSS. |
Bimpe29:But the same APC has just won governorship elections in two of the most educationally advanced states in Nigeria, Edo and Ondo states. It means that the situation may not be as bad as you think. Tinubu just needs to quickly and sufficiently reinvest the proceeds of subsidies removal into agriculture, education, healthcare, critical infrastructure and social investment, until it reaches equilibrium with the sufferings of the masses, at a faster pace than when they were removed. |

immortalcrown:Uche Ekwunife (second row) is standing behind Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu state, |
BuhariAdvocate:I think Tinubu has done very well so far, but he needs to compliment the removal of subsidies from petroleum products, electricity and floating of exchange rates, with investment of the proceeds into sufficiently subsidizing agriculture, education, health, social investment and provision of critical infrastructure until it reaches the point of equilibrium with the pain and hardship being suffered by the masses. This means that removal of subsidies is just one part, he needs to continue to invest the proceeds to soothe the pains until it can sufficiently alleviate the sufferings. Please note that these subsidies were quickly removed, he also needs to quickly ameliorate the sufferings at a faster pace, without delay. |
DEROX:Not only that, by specifically referring to the 2023 presidential elections, it shows that she is deeply pained that Tinubu won the elections. Deep inside her, she supported Peter Obi. That is where her allegiance is, and it’s very dangerous to have such a person with you. She was a double agent, during the 2023 presidential elections. That was the same reason the APC lost the 2019 presidential elections in Ondo state. |
Malroux:But this same MONDAY was sworn in on TUESDAY, just as the first black American president Barack Obama was sworn in on Tuesday and presidential elections are held in the USA on Tuesdays. |
Racoon:There is a mixup. He didn’t say about 40% of Nigerian citizens, what he said was that 40% of NIGERIAN ELECTRICITY CONSUMERS. He did not mention 40% of ENTIRE POPULATION OF NIGERIA. Thanks |
StarRiderr:1. T-Pain = Temporary Pain 2. T-Pain = Timely Pain 3. T- Pain =Transformative Pain 4. T-Pain = Tactful Pain 5. T-Pain = Transient Pain |
tundegan:Tinubu is on the right course of taking us to the promised land of prosperity. Peter Obi said he would incur more debts to support the naira, while Atiku said that he would sell the NNPC and other assets. But Tinubu has taken the best way of restructuring the economy and the T-Pain in this context means: 1. T-Pain = Temporary Pain 2. T-Pain = Timely Pain 3. T- Pain =Transformative Pain 4. T-Pain = Tactful Pain 5. T-Pain = Transient Pain |
phantom:As at 29th of May 2023, when Tinubu took over, debt to revenue ratio was 97%, which means that out of every #100 government would use #97 to pay debt, leaving a paltry #3. Does it make sense for Peter Obi to continue to borrow to support the naira, considering the facts that : 1. By your own admission, Nigeria is a non productive economy. 2. It would increase our import dependency 3. Borrowing more would increase our debt profile. 4. Nigeria was already insolvent, during Jonathan administration, according to Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. In my opinion, let’s give these new policies a chance and stop the corruption ridden padding of our currency which has not yielded any meaningful results since 1960 when we got independence. |
BabaO2:I think it’s a gradual process. That was how the GSM started, it was initially available then affordable. Nigeria shall be great, it’s a matter of time. |
IFECHIGCON:It’s not always that we should be condemning the government. When the government is right, nobody remembers but when they are wrong, nobody forgets. Where I live at Ogba, behind Area G Police Command, Ikeja our power supply has greatly improved to the extent that for the past two months, not a single person has used generator. It’s not that they don’t take light, but on the average, we enjoy about 20 hrs daily (Band A). |
Sweetberry123:Yes,you are right. It’s Hassan Usman Katsina, Adekunle Fajuyi, Aguiyi Ironsi, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and David Ejoor. |
From left to right- Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, Murtala Muhammed, Aguiyi Ironsi, Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and David Ejoor. |
The acquired land along the Lagos-Calabar expressway should be used for tangible and employment generation purposes like agriculture, factories, tourism, etc and not wasted on building useless religious camps, like the one along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. |
etrouble:Unfortunately, it’s only the masses that want Nnamdi Kanu to be released. The following group of people don’t sincerely want him released, but they won’t openly admit it: 1. SOUTH EAST GOVERNORS: because the masses worship him. 2. LEADERSHIP OF THE OHANAEZE NDIGBO: because of their allegiance to the Governors. 3. SOUTH EAST TRADITIONAL RULERS: because he is a nonconformist. 4 LEADERSHIPS OF THE SOUTH EAST CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: because he practices Judaism and this may influence the masses, who worship him. 5. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT: because he is a security risk. |
Shadomaan7:If we go by Jacob Zuma tenure as President of South Africa which started from 9th May 2019 to 14th February 2018, it means Bola Tinubu would leave office in 2031. |
