Igwe9:President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is running market economy with little government intervention , allowing private ownership/ market forces to determine all business decisions concerning how a business is run. This type of economy leads to greater efficient allocation of scarce resources, productivity and innovation. It’ll ultimately free up resources for government to fund education, health, transportation, agriculture and social investments for the benefit of the down trodden masses |
Fugazy2023:I quite agree with you but in order to maintain equity, fairness and justice, the North Central should retain the position of the National Chairman due to the fact that the: SOUTH WEST: has the President, Chief of Staff, Senate leader and APC General Secretary. NORTH WEST : Speaker House of Reps , Deputy Senate president . NORTH EAST: Vice President, APC Deputy National Chairman ( North), Deputy Senate leader NORTH CENTRAL: Secretary to Government of the Federation SOUTH SOUTH: Senate president SOUTH EAST: Deputy Speaker, Senate Deputy leader But in view of the fact that majority of the APC votes in the presidential election came from the first four zones above, the North Central geopolitical zone should retain post of the National Chairman and probably reserve it for tGovernor Yahaya Bello , when he finishes his tenure soon. |
Okwyjesus:Honourable James Faleke is missing in action. I think something is not correct with the list, because Hon. Faleke was Tinubu’s agent during the June 2022 APC presidential primary election and also the secretary of the 2023 APC presidential campaign council. Hope he has not fallen out of favour with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, due to his constant quarrels with Femi Gbajabiamila , over the appointment as the chief of staff. |
teeroy:Going down memory lane, I remember the Green Eagles of the 1973 All African Games that won the Gold Medals like Emmanuel Okala, Tony Igwe, Morton Owolo , Sanni Muhammed, Victor Oduah, Dominic Ezeani, Sunny Oyarekhua, Kenneth Olayombo, Haruna Ilerika, Yakubu Mambo and Josiah Dombraye. |
SalamRushdie:On the contrary, our economy is getting set for the upward trajectory. It’s a sign of redistribution of wealth, as more Naira will now be taken from the rich, by the government ,to execute projects for the common good of everyone.. |
jmoore:It’s the two guarantors that would be made to repay the loan, if the student is rusticated. |
OAFMods:Remove your glasses, wipe am clean , adjust am , take clean water and wash your face, wear your glasses back and take style read no. 2. Wetin you go see be Aguiyi Ironsi name |
solmusdesigns:The position of the Chief of Staff is not recognized by the constitution, it’s not subject to Senate approval. It’s just a position meant for the administrative convenience of the president. It’s meant to ease and streamline the heavy work schedule of the president |
MisterBanny:Let’s put it in another way and see whether your statement makes sense- It’s no longer news that APC failed us. That’s why Nigerians came out in their numbers to unanimously elect APC to right the wrongs of APC maladministration and it’s attendant consequence on Nigerians . This means It’s either APC did not fail and Nigerians unanimously re-elected them or APC failed, but Nigerians still preferred to put up with their failure. |
sirchim:What you know is irrelevant , it’s hearsay and not admissible . It’s what INEC announces that stands. Your personal opinion does not count, it is for your own consumption. If by tomorrow evening, if you’re asked who the president and commander- in-chief of the armed forces of the federal republic of Nigeria is, remember to say it’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Keep what you think you know to yourself. |
Cruztvblog:It means that wives of Public Servants, who have served for 35 years or have attained the mandatory age of 60 years at retirement, also deserve severance packages and privileges. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander |
LesbianBoy:The 2007 election was adjudged to be the worst in this fourth republic, not only because of Yaradua’s admission, but because it was conducted 100 % manually, without technology like card reader, BVAS , IREV, server , etc. If the 2023 presidential election was massively rigged as you have insinuated , then how could you explain why: 1. Buhari lost Katsina state , even as a sitting President. 2. Tinubu lost Lagos and Oshun states 3. The Senate president, Ahmed Lawan lost Yobe state . 4. Femi Gbajabiamila also lost Lagos. 5. APC chairman, Adamu Abdullahi lost Nasarawa state 5. Governors El- Rufai, Ganduje, Bagudu, Masari, Mai Mala Bunu, Inuwa Yahaya, Sule Abdullahi, Lalong, Sanwolu, Ayade, Hope Uzodinma could not deliver their states and yet, you think it is the worst election. I believe you can only rig at your strong base, but these people, with all their power of incumbency could not even win their states . With all due respect, Peter Obi was never in my contemplation to win the presidential election, he was only their to decimate Atiku’s chances, and hand the trophy to Tinubu on a platter of gold. |
bennybuhari:Fashola is the poster boy of the Buhari Administration. He has been the hero behind the huge achievements of this government in infrastructural development . He is the reason |
sirchim:Are you not aware that the Supreme Court recently ruled that the BVAS is the primary source of records and not the IREV or the server? No wonder, just like 2019 you have all gone to lay siege to hack the INEC server/IREV . For your information, no law compels INEC on electronic transmission of results, what the electoral law says is immediate transmission . |
sirchim:It’s an insult for a bronze medalist (3rd position) to be challenging the gold medalist (1st position) , without following due process by first sorting it out with the silver medalist ( 2nd position) . The feeble tsunami that cannot even match a wind , claims a stolen mandate that never existed. |
LeoDeKing:Bola Ahmed Tinubu won’t betray anyone, he is already planning ahead for the next election, by trying to bring as many A- list powerbroker on board as possible. He did the same thing, on his assumption of office as the Governor of Lagos state and that is why he has a firm grip of the state. Under Governor Ganduje’s watch as an incumbent, APC lost the presidential , senatorial, house of reps ,governorship and house of assembly elections in Kano state. Isn’t it obvious who controls the state. |
mandavodigital:Nigerians do not only WANT him, we NEED him at this critical period, to continue the development of critical infrastructure, provision of adequate security, economic development, good governance and fight against corruption. |
LeoDeKing:It does not take rocket science to establish Tinubu’s victory, having scored the highest number of votes and 25% in 29 states already in the kitty . He has won fair and square, with or without 25% in FCT. Nothing makes residents of the FCT more Nigerian or important than the rest of us. |
LeoDeKing:The mathematical interpretation of the provision of the constitution on this requirement is as stated below: 2/3 ( 36 states + FCT) = 2/3 * 37 states = 74/3 states = 24 . 667 states = 25 states ( approximately) As illustrated above, the use of the word AND in the constitution, with regard to this requirement, means PLUS. It does not mean OR , or separate the FCT for any special requirement. Therefore, it’s not compulsory to score 25% in the FCT |
lonecatt:Maybe you are referring to Tinubu’s extension of olive branch to Bode George . It’s not an indication of weakness on the part of Tinubu , but because of a friendly request from Governors Nyesom Wike and Seyi Makinde , in furtherance of the working relationship between the G-5 and the APC, during the 2023 presidential election , since Bode George also belongs to the group. |
David160:Whether Tinubu dances to the tune of the north or not, does not concern you. Where were you when the north gave him 63. 5 % of his total votes ? The north stood by him when you were busy condemning the Muslim/ Muslim ticket, questioning his health status, saying that he was too old, calling him a drug lord , accusing him of certificate forgery and dual citizenship. They stood by him through thick and thin, from the APC presidential primary to the general election, on the 25th February, 2023. |
Akwamkpuruamu:Live broadcast of proceedings of the presidential election tribunal does not make any difference, don’t we watch live broadcast of football matches, even with VAR. Has it stopped the referees from being biased ? Even if the court proceedings take place inside the National secretariat of the PDP at the WADATA HOUSE or inside the Labour Party secretariat, or both, it does not stop anything. |
Tntsi:Thanks for the explanation. The mathematical interpretation of the provision of the constitution on this requirement is as stated below: 2/3 ( 36 states + FCT) = 2/3 * 37 states = 74/3 states = 24 . 667 states = 25 states ( approximately) As illustrated above, the use of the word AND in the constitution, with regard to this requirement, means PLUS. It does not mean OR , or separate the FCT for any special requirement. Therefore, it’s not compulsory to score 25% in the FCT |
Parachoko:Don’t mind them, in addition to stepping down during the APC presidential primary, it was even Tinubu that facilitated Akpabio’s defection to the APC, when he was the PDP’s minority leader during the 8th Senate |
helinues:In my own opinion, the best news to the Obidients is not only when they are declared the winner but also if the APC is proscribed /disbanded and Tinubu is confirmed dead and buried . They are too desperate to see the backs of Tinubu and APC. |
Guyman01:It’s not supposed to be news to open a thread because the calamity was made by the ‘Almighty and infallible’ Peter Obi but when the president elect , His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, made a Freudian slip about PDAPC, it went viral. Different strokes for different folks |
Gbogbowa:Tinubu won the presidential election because in most of the states where the APC lost to the PDP, the margins were very close, but they led PDP with very wide margins where they won, even in states like Lagos and Kano , where they came second, they still led PDP with wide margins. Sorry for not mentioning Peter Obi, I never reckoned with him as a serious candidate, because I don’t know how he could have won without the massive northern Muslim votes , as well as the Yoruba people and since they won’t vote for him, I can’t see him emerging victorious. Strictly my opinion. |
tuborme:Peter Obi should forward his CV to Tinubu, before it’s too late. He can still be considered as the Minister of Education of the Federal Republic of Nigeria , since we now have the largest out of school children in the world |
lhordspy:According to them, Tinubu is in possession of a stolen mandate, they are already in court to reclaim it and until the supreme court gives its judgment, they can’t partake in sharing what they are in dispute of. Chikena. Moreover, Nigeria is made up of several hundreds of ethnic groups , it’s not compulsory that Ibos must be included in everything, especially where they did not contribute. |
Bhella5:I’m an Arsenal fan and I also support APC/Tinubu but Tinubu himself does not only support Manchester United, he is a shareholder. |
helinues:Ask them how many non- Ibos are in Peter Obi’s legal team, currently defending his fake claim of stolen mandate at the presidential election tribunal. It shows their level of hypocrisy. |
