Family / Re: Why Do Men Do DNA Test ? – Lady Asks by addictiv(m): 2:04pm On Apr 05
The reason men should do a test is because they want to do one, and that reason should be enough. For me the question won't be why I want to do a DNA test, the question for my wife is if she wants me to inform her when I do the test or not to inform her. People check things to be sure and nobody gets offended, women check their mens phones daily, does that mean she doesn't love the man, does that mean she doesn't trust him? If people can check their partners phones, keep tabs on their whereabouts whenever they like, because they can and it's no big deal, then men should be able do DNA tests whenever they like and because they want to do a test and that's enough reason for anybody. And any woman who doesn't like it and won't support it, should be treated with a very long spoon.

VanuatuWycombe:

It would be released to the court and any other complainant joined in the suit. Not to you and I.
Even if it was requested by the SCN, it is not in the company's interest to release any data of its top 100 users in a country. This is not a case of terrorism or homicide where names of suspects on a platform are being requested by law enforcement. The situation surrounding the Nigerian Governments request goes against everything that Binance and Crypto stands for.
Business / Re: Court Orders Binance To Release Names, Details Of Nigerians Trading On Platform by addictiv(m): 2:11pm On Mar 18
Binance execs are not fools, they won't release anything. If they do, that's the end of the company. Customers from other countries will dump them because they will be weary the same can be applied to them if their respective countries request for their identities. Plus the lawsuits the will arise from those whose names were made public might bankrupt them. However if they say No to Nigerias request, they will retain customers confidence, possibly earn more profits globally and see increased market share amongst competing exchanges.

To be honest, some parents no get sense. If you doubt, I want you to take a look at every young person you know including all the jonzing guys, hookup babes, NFAs etc. They will all be parents someday and would have opinions on who their kids get married to. If you think your parents are well informed about marriage follow them. If you believe your way is better, follow it. Both roads have both blessings and lessons. The elder people no sabi anything wey the young ones no know, if they did, this country won't be the way it is currently.

Religion / Christian Section On Nairaland by addictiv(m): 9:53am On Feb 18
We need a Christian Section on Nairaland. While I have the deepest regard for our brothers and sisters from other religions and beliefs, we cant have every John comment on Christian threads while Muslims get threads get restrictions that ensure anyone commenting is Muslim. Christians should also have their own section with similar notices. When you read comments on Muslim threads, you see a rich depth of information accumulated from various responses and the threads dont get derailed easily, because most persons responding have similar beliefs. But Christian threads do not get similar views. In most cases it ends up becoming a space to thread words between Christians and non-Christians. This cannot be allowed to continue.

I have taken up this act of discrimination against Christians on this forum with the domain hosts. We should see changes shortly. We cant have every John comment on Christian threads while Muslims get threads get restrictions that ensure anyone commenting is Muslim. Christians should also their own section with similar notices.

Religion / Re: Couple Whose Wedding Was Cancelled Over Pregnancy Weds In Another Church In Aba by addictiv(m): 2:35pm On Nov 29, 2023
What I don't understand is, someone has committed a sin by having sex before marriage. And as a consequence they get pregnant, the person realising themselves wants to make things right by getting married. Isn't the church meant to counsel them and help them make right of the situation by encouraging and helping them to get married ?
What is the rationale behind cancelling the wedding? Does the church want to condemn them to their plight and they go on living their Iives in iniquity?

Isn't the church's primary objective to help people who re lost in the worldly way, find a way in christ?

Gwin007:
no.. thanks and they it going to be about 2weeks tourist visa.. Whc after it expires I will now start looking for my papers

See you see life long suffering...at the end of the day you will ask yourself... Was it worth it?
1. Europe is one of the worst places to become an illegal. If it's not an English speaking country your suffering is x10.
2. There are better ways to Japa legally with your family on a student, work, or permanent visa. Explore those options.
3. Don't believe what you see on social media, and anyone advising to become an illegal in Europe doesn't have your best interest at heart tbh.
4. Most countries have systemized their visa and passport processes to the point that you cannot even get anything including housing, a bank account, a car, a good job, healthcare.. Etc if you become an illegal.
5. The fact someone went 5 - 10 years ago and the person made it and became successful as an illegal, doesn't mean if you go now in 2023/2024 you will see similar opportunities to exploit. Policies and technology has changed many things and rules are changing everyday.
6. The options for papers you re talking about including getting married to a citizen or working with someone else's papers will put you at the mercy of someone else who on a whim can destroy you. Why would you want to do that to yourself and your family?
7. At the end of the day, you will loose your family. The people you are hustling for will move on with life without you. Then you ask yourself..... Was it worth it?

Hamas won't try it... Thats the end of Palestine if they do. All the global sympathy they have will just disappear. Technically I think isreal even wants them to start executing hostages and broadcasting live. So they can have more reason to level them. Hamas is screwed is they do and also screwed if they don't.

Foreign Affairs / Re: What We Will Do To Hamas Will Be Remembered For Generations To Come - Netanyahu by addictiv(m): 1:45am On Oct 10, 2023
Now even the Gaza, that Palestinians had will be claimed by isreal.... They should ask riverine people how to build bamboo houses in the sea,cos that's the only place they will be allowed to live. At the end of the day, we ask.. Was it worth it?
Foreign Affairs / Re: Israel-Hamas War Live Updates Thread (Pictured) by addictiv(m): 1:38am On Oct 10, 2023
To him that has, more shall be added. To him that has not, even the little he has will be taken from him..... Now they won't even see 1 square metre of land to call Palestine.
