You want to man to commit his time, resources and energy and hustle for you, provide and support you, give you a roof and make sure you are comfortable, risk his life to protect you in the face of danger, help with chores etc, You want a man to forsake the numerous women of the world and be loyal to you and the very thing that gives the man joy you deny him based on sentiments that you are not in the mood. After he has kept his own end, he still has to beg and cajole you to do your part. The same thing he can get for free elsewhere if he decides to give in to the whims of his mood. How about men start telling their wives that they are not in the mood the next time she needs him to perform his role as a husband. Let men just pay bills and start doing things based on how they are feeling and only do what they are in the mood to do and see how many women will enjoy the marriage.

well if you feel your wife has relegated you to the background and gives the kids more attention, it's only natural for her to do so because that's how women are wired, some women are able to create a balance but not all are able to so successfully. If you want to tip the odds in your favour, focus all your love and attention on the kids and spend most of your time with them. Help with homework, bathing and dressing them up for school, taking them to games, getting them gifts etc. Reduce the attention on your wife and focus on the kids. You will discover she will begin to draw closer to you but will find it difficult to complain about your little attention for her, because she sees you are giving everything to the kids. It's a good thing that DNA test can be conducted without the knowledge and paticipation of the woman. And women fear it so much because its an undeniable proof of her philandering actions and failed attempt at paternity fraud. No criminal likes what will expose them so their attitude to it should be expected. The focus however should be how to make the tests affordable and easily accessible to all and sundry. Compulsory military service for 4 years after secondary school, on completion they can either continue in the military or law enforcement or chase any passions they might have, make everybody go learn discipline, responsibility, leadership, common sense and how to protect themselves. Maybe if this was the 19th century, what you are saying would have held sway, however we live in the 21st century. Where we have birth control of different kinds both conventional and unconventional in even the remotest of locations. There is no baby that is born in this time without the mother wanting the child to be born and there is nothing a man can do about it, nature has made it so. This is not an emotional topic, at least not for men but one borne out of necessity and reason. Personally I don't care if a woman is polyandrous or wants to get pregnant for different men. It's her choice and she has every right to do what she wants,however I as a man also have a choice and a right to ensure that kids she said are mine are actually mine. Which is a logical and reasonable approach given the different circumstances we have continued to witness. Facing the other men is of no consequence as unless she was forced the woman first made a choice to sleep with them, chose to get pregnant with their seed, chose to birth the baby, and lastly she made a choice to lie about the father of the child yet it is the man she slept with that should be blamed and held responsible. Perhaps it is also the same man that is guilty of lying to me and telling me that the child that was born is mine only because I am of favourable standing than the man who got her pregnant. Most men would never want their kids to be raised under another man's roof, and most men would always prefer raising kids that belong to them biologically than raising kids that are not.. The primary biological purpose for a man on earth is to progenate, and for a woman it's to Birth his kids. Back in the days, there used to be a saying "only a woman knows the father of her child" , but thanks to science a man can find out too if he is the father and I absolutely encourage all men to protect themselves from such situations by verifying the origins to avoid severe pains and anguish later. If every man is to be tested for all the children of his exes, it will become obvious that men are their own enemy. And if made a requirement before marriage or having children, it would be interesting to see men comply or remain single. If men got pregnant we would hear a lot of dirty stories and fear them. Somewhere the real father is hiding and acting like a saint.

If you don't trust someone enough to get married and have children with them, why bother when it's a transaction of insecurity? Be ready for transactions to always fail.

If the embassies thought trust and word of mouth alone was enough verifiable proof then they won't bother to request for dna tests. Why should a man stake the future of his geneology on the words of a woman that a child is his especially when there are strange and unanswered circumstances that surround the birth of the child?
If organisations that have no blood ties or vested interest in the welfare of the child or family request these results and it is made available without stress, argument or bad blood why should it be a problem when the said man who is expected to bear to major brunt of providing and catering for the welfare of the child till adulthood and independence requests for the same document? Children are not developed in the factory( at least not all) , they are made by the conjugal relations of men and women. So saying men are their own enemy doesn't change the reality that men are being deceived to raise kids that do not belong to them. And the only way a man can protect himself from falling into such circumstances is by either not getting anyone pregnant and hence having no offspring to propagate his genes or carrying out a dna test to verify if the said kids are his. Anything aside this such a man has left his genealogy to chance and should be ready for deep despair and grief should the choice be unfavourable.

Men are not the ones preventing these women from committing adultery as in most cases the act is committed by a man and a woman. The issue at hand is why lie about the origin of a pregnancy ? Like the woman is satisfied, and sleeps well at night watching a man believe the child is biologically his and the child also believes the man is the father, watching the family live a lie all their lives and she's OK with it. A man cannot father a child outside and make another woman believe the the child belongs to her. He won't even bring the child home without her consent. Why can't these women extend this same decorum to men? Like you said we should have more honest conversations...

There is nothing wrong with a woman wanting to be polygamous and father kids by different men, however why commit paternity fraud? Why lie to a man about the origins of a child that is not his and make him commit emotionally, financially, spiritually etc to the upbringing of the child? Why not just tell a man, look this pregnancy is not yours and allow him to decide on supporting you in raising the child on his own free will?

There is nothing wrong with wanting to verify the origins of one's supposed offspring. Only a little minded person or guilty party will look at wanting a DNA test as casting aspersions on the integrity of the mother of the child. If organisations and embassies can request for these test results and we provide them willingly how much more the very man to which these kids are supposed to propagate his genes and possibly inherit his wealth
