Like I said earlier, if the high commission approved his request via the letter, then it is also culpable. One thing I know about UK and US government is that rather than embarrass themselves they would issue a ruling that removes such possibility. There's no way you can exploit someone that offered a product or service willingly, you have to prove that the victim did not know of the procedure and was coerced, a good lawyer would have the case thrown out. The bigegst issue is the age, once that is resolved, it becomes a more defensible case.

You can't exploit someone that gave consent. Furthermore if the letter is evidence against him then it is also evidence against the high commission. They gave their approval for a procedure that is against UK regulations?

1. First go and find out what the UK law defines as exploitation.
2. In the letter ekweremadu only stated David is going for a private medical treatment not to donate his kidney. He didn't fully disclose the reason for his travel which already makes him look culpable in the eyes of the law.

Proving David is not a minor just reduces the amount of jail time ekweremadu will face. If you think the case will be dropped just like that then you don't know UK. Unless FG gets involved ekweremadu is in a deep mess

Believe me the distinguished senator cannot get away from this without jail time or at least heavy fines and possibly be banned from the UK. Even if its established in court that David is 21 and consented to donated his kidneys, he is still a vulnerable person according to UK law because of his age and his financial status compared to the ekweremadu's. The fact that ekweremadu promised him financial rewards for the endeavour digs the pit deeper because its illegal to pay or induce someone to donate organs in the UK.
