I have heard many cases of God's word preachers who have been killed, slaughtered and brutally mutilated while preaching or on other duties in respect to biblical God's commandment. Many were burnt alive while withing the church premises praying and praising God, many captured and were easily slaughtered, many were captured within their own house, raped and eventually killed and many more cases like that.

Seriously, all these occurrences left me with one critical question that has been dominating my mind for years, that why would God keep silent while such horrific murder is being unleashed on his consistent servant ? Why can't God, weather spiritually or physically, prevent such tragedy, to at least encourage other worshipers and consolidate the believe that God is truly mighty as it is being claimed. Preventing such tragedy, to me, has the efficacy of preventing many people from waking up one day and start thinking at all weather God exist or not.
Should we say our so called popular pastors, knows that there is no divine assistance they can enjoy while facing assassinating temptation and that is why most of them move all around with sophisticated security outfit...

James 1:13 says that when under trial, let no one say I am been tried by God for with evil things God cannot be tried nor does He try anyone. So any evil that happens to man cannot be attributed to God, rather its Satan (1John 5:19) that is causing the death and suffering that church goers and other humans face.
Please remember that Stephen, a devoted Christian in the first century was also killed in cold blood (and Saul/Paul who later became a disciple was present and supported it). Stephen was a righteous man, but he died like a common criminal. Please recall that the Christ- Jesus was also killed like a common criminal.
To summarize it all, Isaiah 55:9 says that the ways and thoughts of God is higher than that of man. The way we see things is different from how God sees things. He is far wiser than us. Even if what we expect of Him is not realised, we should just be patient and continued to look up to him. Remember God is Wisdom!

Youthful exuberance and desires incident to youth has always led young ones and even matured people astray. If only many people had proper guidance the life, they would have been directed along a more rewarding course than the one they are currently taking.
For all round success in life, the Bible is the manual or text that gives one guidance in any and every aspect of life.

Based on the topic at hand, there are numerous Bible verses that warn people regarding the dangers associated with sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:9&10; Galatians 5:19&20). But most importantly, it warns that people who practise it, will not enter into God's Kingdom.

Avoiding vices such as sexual immorality, lying & stealing, helps to secure a healthy future for us ( kindly note the ending part of Acts 15:29).

Arguing about everlasting torment does not really help anyone to achieve everlasting life. We have all sinned against God (Psalm 51:5), and we still continue to sin in our day to day life. Irrespective of this, we know that God is Love (1 John 4:, he is patient and kind. And he does not desire that any one of us should die, but that we should repent of our sins and enjoy the gift of everlasting life (2 Peter 3:9) and (Romans 6:23b).
Let each person not be distracted by doctrines which are can be formulated by man; the bible is very clear. The whole obligation of man here on earth is to fear the true God and keep his commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

When Adam and Eve sinned, God told them that they would die. Not go to hell. Remember that it's them that introduced us to sin. And their punishment is just death.. And if we sinned we get to suffer forever in fiery hell.

Does that make sense?
Remember that God is a God of Justice and justice required that we suffer the same punishment for sin.

Hell definitely is not the Devine punishment for sin.

If a human father can love his child(ren), discipline them when they err, and still call them his children; how come a God that is love (1 John 4:8 ) will be looking at his creation (the works of his hand) burning forever. First let me say that it is a good thing that u believe that there is God (Jehovah). If u believe that there is God, it is only reasonable that u believe everything that He tells u.
2Timothy 3:16&17 tells us that it was through God's inspiration that all the books of the bible was written, and that the bible is complete in its entirety, covering severing single area of life. If u believe that there is God, u ought to believe this direct alluding of the authorship of the bible to God.
The bible is the only medium through which God speaks with humans today.

Acts 2:44-47. There we read of how first century Christians sold some of their possession so that it can be distributed amongst all, such that no one would lack sustenance. Everyone on this thread would agree that Christianity started when the Christ came into this world as a human. Now tell me where Jesus instructed us to pay tithe. And where in the bible from Matthew to Revelation that servants of God are told to pay tithes?
Gal 3:24&25. There we are given enlightenment that the mosaic law only led to the Christ, it served as a tutor for people aspiring to serve God. But servants of God are now under a new commandment of love as instructed by the Christ when he came to the earth (John 13:34&35).
So Christians of today are not under any obligation to pay tithes, just as they are not under any obligation to carry out animal sacrifices.
Please note what the account of James 1:27 say the kind of worship that is pleasing to God is to look after orphans and widows in their tribulation and to keep oneself spot free from the world.
Please recall the words of Prophet Samuel to disobedient King Saul: “Does Jehovah take as much pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrificese as in obeying the voice of Jehovah? Look! To obey is better than a sacrifice, and to pay attention than the fat of rams.
Just obeying Jah's instructions (as found in the bible) is enough to gain God's approval.....

1Cor 5:11. There servants of the true God are told to quit being in the company of someone that is sexually immoral. Intact in verse 13 of that bible chapter, it advises God's servants to remove such a person from their midst. This explains what the lady told you. She would be given a caution (reproof), if she willingly goes to the elders in her congregation and confess any immoral wrongdoing. However if she conceals her sins and thinks she is smart and that nobody will know and continues practising immorality, then when she is discovered, she will be disfellowshipped.
Gal 5:19-21. Sexual immorality (includes fornication), is said to be a work of the flesh. True servants of God do not want to be guided by their fleshly desires, but rather, they want to be guided by God's Holy Spirit. People who engage in fornication WILL NOT inherit God's kingdom. If the lady in question gives in to your sexual advances, even kissing, petting and touching intimate parts, she should know that she is making it impossible for herself to inherit God's kingdom.

Its not God that allows such wickedness to thrive, but rather its the devil. God does not try people with evil things (James 1:13). More so, this world that we are living in, is been controlled by satan (1John 5:19). A world that is under Satan's control is bound to have such a level of wickedness.

Rev 12:7-9. In that bible portion, we learn of how Satan was driven out of heaven and he had nowhere left to go than the earth. Eventually, woe was pronounced on the earth because the devil had come down here, knowing he has a short period of time.
The truth is that the end is very near for the devil, and he will do whatever it takes to draw as many people down with him. He uses dreams and false beliefs (embedded in some traditions and common beliefs) to scare people, these people in turn, turn to the wrong places for relief (herbalist, fortune tellers, spiritual homes) and eventually are caught in the web of the devil.
James 4:7. It tells us that oppose the devil and he will flee from you. Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. The devil is cunning and he has his powers, but he is very low in power when compared to the Almighty God. To oppose the devil, we need to put away all what Jehovah hates from around us. Fornication, adultery, pornography, spiritism, spiritistic books, violence and flee from people who practise such things (1Cor 15:33). Seriously, if u continue to do things that are pleasing to God, and avoids the things he detests, the devil has no chance to torment u with dreams or demonic visits.
Isaiah 48:17&18. There Jehovah is telling you that he is the one helping u to help yourself, why not help yourself today (me included), turn and start serving God, and you will see your peace abound like the sea.

The nurse should weep, feel bad; but later, she should gather herself and be focused. hopefully, it would not result into an unwanted pregnancy for her. However, we have a strong promise in the bible (Rev 21:3&4) that comforts such ones, a time is coming when weeping, pain and outcry will be things of the past. Such things wont happen anymore when God's kingdom arrives. But sadly, these things are happening everyday in different parts of the country/world.

I am grateful to Jehovah God for finding me worthy, and drawing me close (through the Jehovah's Witness organisation). I was not always a member, but I recently decided to become one due to the fact that I know that they have a better and thorough understanding of the bible than other denominations. They also follow exactly what the bible instructs Christians to do. They do not add their own ideas to the bible.
If u call on a JW in Lagos, and any other one in Nigeria or even in overseas; and you ask them a question from the bible. Notice carefully that each of them will give you the same answer or a similar answer. But honestly, this is not the case with other denominations.
For a fact, they are interprete the bible correctly, and I have never regretted been a member ever since I joined. My life has changed for the better, and I am protected from a lot of things. Jehovah, I thank you for drawing me towards You.

Sex is holy within marriage, & there is no prescribed style. Nowhere in the Bible or Quran does it say that the missionary position is the only sexual style. Not discussing sex in a relationship leads to separation! Many husbands leave their wives to seek sexual pleasures in clubs and brothels, or with girlfriends. Have you ever asked yourself what those ladies have that you don't? Wives have become very frigid and even sleep with their panties on. If you're a married woman, you should sleep naked and let your bum touch your husband. Today you find men going out of their way to get a glimpse of a vagina. They page through magazines and even go to lingerie departments in stores hoping to see what's hidden under panties, because their wives hide it from them.

Marriage is about being free with your body in front of your partner. A woman should parade naked and do some modelling to tempt her husband. There are many married women who don't know what their husbands' "kobokos" look like. They only feel it when he enters her. They always switch off d lights before undressing. The koboko is a wife's toy - she is supposed to play with it. I blame couples for not making time for sex & complaining about being tired after work. You find couple who've been sexually starved for years.

When it comes to men and extra-marital sex, it goes beyond the wife. She could be the neatest woman on the planet, she could even be prettier than miss world; she could even walk around the house for 365 days year round; but that would not make a married man to not patronise another lady.
Have u ever read from the bible that stolen waters taste sweeter, and a meal eaten on secrecy is enticing? See, its only by been close to God (having a personal and intimate relationship) that a man can be free of such a lifestyle.

All that was said is sad but true. I see them every single day of my life. Why can't most girls have some decency these days? It pains me when I see young girls, ladies, married women and even mothers degrading themselves by engaging in this shameful immoral attitude. For real, there is nothing to gain from it.

Have u never read about the faithful man Job? Did u not notice that it was the devil that was the cause of all his misfortune? Was it Jehovah that wished Job to suffer? In fact humans are suffering today because of the devil.
We are suffering because its d devil that controls the world (1 John 5:19). Notice that when the devil offered to give Jesus all the kingdoms of the earth and their glory, Jesus never contested that it did not belong to the devil (Luke 4:5-.
Remember that the devil even made our first human parents- Adam and Eve to sin. In effect he made them to choose a path of independence from God, and we are all witnesses of its consequences.

Why would a reasonable human try to shy away from the truth? U can see, feel and hear the truth, yet u are still asking a baseless question. People in authority in Nigeria only care for themselves and their families, that is why there are many people suffering unnecessarily today.
Every problem that we are experiencing today, is as a result of the greed and selfishness of a few people in authority.

A happy, fun filled, spontaneous and fulfilled marriage does not come as a result of marrying ur friend, sending raunchy pictures to ur mate, sending exciting text messages, having sex in weird and funny positions etc.
Just pause and ask urself, who instituted marriage? And in the bible, how many eventual marriage mates knew themselves b4 marriage?
The truth of the matter is that success in marriage comes as a result of applying principles found in the bible. Husbands are told to show honour to their wives as weaker vessels, wives are admonished to respect their husbands, and children are told to obey their parents. The principle of headship also places the husband as the head of the family. The only draw back is that their is the risk of becoming too zealous when modelling our family lives to suit bible requirements. We should watch out for this so that applying bible principles does not become a burden to us and our families.
The bottom line is that having a successful married life comes with applying bible principles.

The bible book of Revelation 20:3 tells us that Satan will be abyssed for one thousand years so that he may not be able to mislead the nation. During this period, mankind will be free from the influence of Satan and his demons. And this will be a period in which peoples faith will be put to test. We should note that the people that will be tested then, will be people that never had that opportunity to prove their faith. They will be brought back to life and will be given the opportunity to prove their loyalty to God, and this will be under the reign of Jesus and his anointed co-rulers (Revelation 20: 2&4). Such ones will be raised up from the dead and would be sane. But if they prove to be disloyal to God, they will be destroyed just like every other unfaithful humans (Psalm 37:9,10&20). However, if they prove to be faithful to God, they will enjoy all the rewards of God's promise in the Bible- that is, everlasting life and all the good things that will make life enjoyable on earth (Revelation 21:3&4, Isaiah 65:21-25, Psalms 37:29).

When anybody dies (sane, insane, blind, deaf, lame, etc), he ceases to exist. He returns to the ground from which he was made (Genesis 3:19). He becomes dust after a long period of decay. However, he does not have any knowledge of events around him. He does not roam about the earth trying to save friends and relatives from evil, neither does he try to harm anyone. In fact, he 'ceases to exist'. But most importantly, his spirit (breath of life) goes to his maker, God Almighty (Ecclesiastes 9:5; Psalms 146:4).
The way we are currently living our lives will determine our fate after we die. Righteous people have hopes of living forever, some in heaven, while the rest will be on an earthly paradise (Psalms 37:29; Revelation 14: 1&3). Everyone that dies returns to the ground, however, some people may not have had the opportunity to prove their righteousness before God prior to death. For such people (such as a mentally ill individual or a person that lived an isolated existence prior to death), they also have a hope.......

There are people who are living well, physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically, financially etc. However, there are some who have one draw back or the other. Some are handicapped, mentally ill, paralysed etc. However, its not God's wish that some people are well off and others are not. Sometimes people just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, that's why bad things befall them (Ecclesiastes 9:11)
We should also note that this world is currently not in the control of God Almighty, that is the reason why bad conditions are prevalent; and there are some people that are sane, while others are born with one mental disability or the other (1John 5:19)........

Its not a good thing that u av done Op. Its not easy to find someone that loves u for who u are, someone that stood by u for several years and aborted six pregnancies she had for u. Its not easy to find such a person. But one very funny aspect of human nature is that we tend to under-value people that love us with all their heart. Op, i do know that blessings work, but the bible says that we should not swear by anything in the heavens or on this earth (probably its because the curse may come true). Jehovah's Withnesses as a group are really a very organised religion. They know the exact number of members that they have worldwide,they humbly go from door to door to preach God's message, and they are good neighbours to live with. They seem to be the true followers of Christ.

Dis is a very good write-up, and a very interesting one at that. Some tenants can be very frustrating, refusing to pay their rents and not vacating other pples property. Some people are just inhuman. Its injustice for the court to have granted damage payment in favour of the tenant. One can only imagine what the landlord must have gone thru in the hand of that tenant b4 resorting to forceful ejection. Some tenants just like to play on the loopholes of the law....

Its not reasonable (it doesnt make sense), but it happens every second in Nigeria. Dont be surprised, pple that u think are decent (girls especially) are going to far away areas (far from where they reside) just to ride on a stranger's joystick. Its not only silly; its dangerous and pathetic.

What so ever a man/woman is sowing, that he/she will also reap. One cannot eat his cake and have it. She taught that she could enjoy the comfort of a home and still be exposing her private part to outsiders; buy unfortunately, she reaped the fruit of what she was sowing. Although its not ok to speak badly of the dead, i do not have any sympathy for her. I only pity her husband and children that she was unfaithful to. Women are ruled by emotions and anyone can penetrate their wall of defence to get to their emotions. Its easy for a lady to admire a guy due to his charisma, infact many 'attached' ladies do that sometimes. However, it becomes dangerous when the guy in question is a 'bad' guy and uses his charima to his selfish advantage. Infact a guy that has charisma and has some change in his pocket will fk almost every girl and women if he so desires.
