excal: Thanks for replying @adedammy009. The organisation applied at turkey even before I applied here..following due process. The embassy sent a reference number 3 days after applying for the company to complete their application. I just want to know if there is anyone who can share their experience with a work visa. I am actually in Turkey so let me share a personal experience. You have to get a visa using documents you received for the company, normally they give like a month visa validity, then apply for resident permit (ikamet) when you get here. The company will then apply for your work permit from here. That's the easiest way, I think. |

weaseloo: Hi guys,
What are the alternatives or way out for this family:
The visa interview date (eb2 niw application) has been released and the location is Lagos. But due to unforeseen circumstances the wife cannot attend the interview in Lagos because she lives outside Nigeria and will not be able to return to Nigeria for the interview.
What can they do not to miss this opportunity? Getting immigrant visa interview slot these days are very difficult. I suggest she finds a way to attend the interview by all means possible. When was I-140 approved and how long before getting to visa interview stage? All the best. |

excal: Good day house. Has anyone received a turkish work permit in the last 6 months? And is the 30-day max approval by the Turkish Ministry of Labour real or should I expect more delays? It is quite difficult to get a work permit from outside Turkey. This is because the organization you are joining will have to apply for you. More so, on paper, you'll need a resident permit first. |

Hello, I already booked my student visa appointment on March 26 for May. I don't think I still need email appointment. I hope I am correct. heybaby12: There is a notice on the embassy site "from 01/04/2018- please note that student visa appointments have to be booked via email. The earliest possible appointments will be scheduled from June. ..... So winter ppl make we relax.
I guess they want to have control over the booking since this period has more crowd. You need your . Data page .admission letter .bank details/sl/ scholarships letter |

Scholastica16: Use B.Y MAFIT if Walspring's offer is done.
If you do it on your own the GRE would cost you circa 78k in Naira.
Edo and Enugu may not have ICT venues worthy enough of the ETS folks so you might consider taking the paper based option or consider PH as a venue.
Hope this helps.
NB: register the account yourself only use B.Y MAFIT to pay. They charge N50k. Pls where can I register for TOEFL in Ibadan or Lagos. Thanks |

You don't need all of them. First, try and locate the ETS TOEFL iBT prep software in the first link (You might have to dig into the folders to find the exact location). Thereafter; you download and install. Make sure you take all the practice test for all sections after going through the noteful videos in the second link. The videos are all you need. Don't bother to read the bulky materials therein. Focus on the sections in this order; Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening. I had five days to prepare and the materials helped land a 107. I came across a well structured format for each of the six speaking questions. I don't have that on drive but could forward it to you at a later time. @ProfTPE Thanks for the link. I have tried downloading the ETS TOEFL iBT prep software but installing it is difficult. It keep saying error even after 2 downloads. Kindly help. Thanks |
