Our anchor Scripture above reveals that the existence of human being on the earth is transient.  No matter how beautiful, handsome, tall or short a person is, his/her flesh is as grass. No matter how powerful, influential or popular a person is, that person’s flesh is also like grass that is liable to perish. There were people who lived as if their lives would never end. They brought pain and sorrow to humanity; they were so powerful that nobody thought they could bow to death, yet the bowed because they were flesh, and as grass they all perished.  For example, there was a man called Adolf Hitler of Germany; he was like the god of the whole world at a time, but he too was grass, and he bowed. What of Idi Amin Dada of Uganda? He committed unimaginable atrocities against his people, but he too was grass, and he bowed. There was another dictator called Mobutu Sese Seko of the Democratic Republic of Congo who was very corrupt, yet he too was grass. Sani Abacha of Nigeria was a military dictator. He was very autocratic and brutal, but he was grass too, and he bowed. Michael Jackson ruled and reigned in the pop music world. They called him the king of pop music, but he bowed to the King of kings because he was grass. Their money, fame, name and wisdom could not save them on the day of death.

Beloved, the only way to escape the disaster of the grassy nature of mortal life is to be rooted in God. Your longevity in life is connected to your spiritualty. Your depth in God determines your length of life.

ASSIGNMENT(S)

1. In all you do or achieve in life, be conscious of the fact that you are also grass(flesh) because it is the consciousness of consequence that imparts caution to life’s actions. 

2. Let investment into the kingdom of God and into the lives of people be a priority instead of investment only on the flesh that would perish.

 

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to be conscious of Your help in my life always. Help me to be deeply rooted in You. And deliver me from the decadence of this generation, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

The God-first mentality is the mentality that makes God the number one priority of one’s existence. 

It is the mentality that places kingdom priority ahead of earthly and personal priorities. And when God sees a person who is more passionate about God’s kingdom than his personal pursuit, God baptizes such a person with the mantle needed to impact his generation.

Get this: To be interested in the interests of God is to be treasured by God. You cannot trust in God and rust in life. You cannot put God first and come last in life.

The reason why many people crash in life is that they lack the God- first mentality. It is one thing to be blessed by God, but it is another thing to realize continuously that God is your Blesser. When money enters your hands, what do you do with it first? It determines whether or not you have the God-first mentality.

Beloved, in your life’s assignments and endeavours, make up your mind to exist with the God-first mentality. Let God be the Centre of your existence. 

I prophesy on your life the impartation of a heart and passion for God; a heart that places God above everything in life, in Jesus’ Name.

Some time ago, I heard the story of a young man who committed sexual immorality with another man’s wife. What happened thereafter? The following morning, when he arrived at his office, he was fired.



Was it merely a coincidence? Not necessarily. The frightening thing was that nobody in his office saw him when he committed the iniquity. He did it secretly, quietly and privately, but in the realm of the spirit, an attack went forth against his destiny.

When he was handed the sack letter, he asked, ‘what did I do?’ Nobody explained anything to him. But he himself knew what he did that was fighting his future.

Also, some years back, a young man on fire for God suddenly began to accommodate a lady he was not married to in his house. It was during our 21 days fasting and prayer which they both participated. They would fast and return home to continue from where they stopped in their immoral lifestyle.

Such spiritual activity diluted with the filth of immorality can never deliver any favourable outcome in the life and destiny of anyone.

My counsel is, possess positive actions in order to generate positive outcomes in life and in destiny.

Appointment can be understood as an arrangement to meet someone at a particular place and time. 

It is important to note that appointment goes hand-in-hand with preparation – be it a divine appointment or an earthly appointment. The question is, how prepared would you be if our Master Jesus Christ gives you an appointment to meet with Him today? If the King of Kings summons you now, could you meet Him the way you are now? 

If you were told that Jesus Christ wants to see you now, would you meet Him with your conscience that is smeared with compromise? Would you be meeting Him holding grudge in your heart against that person? Would you meet Him with those artificial things that have transformed your face, making you to look like someone? Would you meet Him with that lifestyle of pretense? You laugh or smile with someone as though you are happy with them but your heart speaks otherwise.

The truth is, when we get to eternity there will be a lot of surprises, ‘I am a Pastor or a Church worker’ will not mean anything to God then. 

What will matter is what you would be comfortable with when you appear in the Presence of Jesus and your conscience is justified. What do you think you would have to change in your life if you were told that Jesus is waiting to see you? Change it now! Adjust your life now because one day you will appear before Him on the judgment day (Hebrews 9:27).

It is an established fact that as we draw closer to the end of the age, there is an escalation of satanic wickedness and recklessness in all dimensions across the world (1 Peter 5:. The names of the sicknesses and diseases we hear of today were not even mentioned just over twenty-five years ago. The vices and criminal activities that bedevil our society today are unprecedented in scale and intensity. When we were growing up, we hardly heard anything like kidnapping but today, the act of kidnapping seems to have overwhelmed the whole society; people bargain human lives as though they are bargaining tubers of yam. 

Nevertheless, in the midst of all these, I have good news for you and bad news for the devil. There is a NAME that can both mesmerize and pauperize the works of the devil. That Name has the capacity to hide the children of God from the reach of any harm. That name has come to show that there is a power that the devil cannot contend with (Philippians 2:10). 

Proverbs 18:10 also reveals that that Name is not just a Name but a house, a tower of refuge. And no matter how mad a witch or wizard gets, they cannot pursue you into the tower of the Name of the Lord. Any level of curiosity that would make the goat to go and greet the hyena in the morning – makes it to become food instantly! 

My counsel is, you need to live right to be able to dwell inside the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This means that a liar is on his own; a gossip, a womanizer, a smoker, a thief, the unforgiving, the seductress, a cheat, etc. are all on their own; they have no part in the Name of the Lord. You must know the Name of the Lord in time of peace before He can answer you in time of war. 

Beloved, do not live your life carelessly in a time like this so you don’t end up as a casualty.

Today, I prophesy your exemption from all satanic traps in this season. You are preserved, in Jesus’ Name.

It is confirmed that one of the most critical directions to seek in life is the direction as to who to marry. This is because a larger percentage of a person’s success in life is connected to whom he/she married. Marriage failure at times equals destiny failure; a shattered home can equal a shattered life. No matter how anointed a man is, if his house is not in order, his ministry can never be in order. Samson’s downfall or tragedy was connected to the wrong women he associated with. (Judges 14:16-20 and 16:1-21).

Beloved, do not allow the flesh to choose for you whom to marry. That the man is tall, rich and handsome does not mean he is your husband. That the lady is beautiful, fair to look upon and intelligent does not mean that she is the right person for you. Sister, do not allow desperation or any form of pressure make you to make the wrong choice in marriage. Do not say, ‘I will manage him,’ or ‘I will manage her.’

Get this:

*Any relationship you manage can damage you; any relationship you pamper can tamper with your life and destiny. There is something worse than being single, and that is marrying the wrong person. Marriage is a fixed deposit.

*Sister, that man you are in a relationship with, and he can lift his hand to slap you but drops it on a second thought, when you eventually marry him, know that that slap must happen.

*Never marry anybody who you have lost your peace over. Do not marry anybody out of pity.

*Do not cheapen your life by engaging in premarital sex. Imagine that, the man has not married you but he has seen everything about you. Apart from eternal consequences, that sort of action is a major reason for the abortion or failure of marriage. That is, the marriage ended before it even started. (Hebrew 13:4).

But you shall make it, in Jesus’ Name.

ASSIGNMENT(S)

1. Wait on the Lord in prayer and fasting to know who to marry. Any time spent to know who to marry is not a waste of time (Genesis 2:18).  

2. Ensure you have an inner witness accompanied with a peace of mind over the person you are thinking of marrying.

3. Determine to keep yourself and the relationship pure devoid of premarital sex.

 

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for divine intervention in my marital relationship. I ask for your mercy in any area I have slipped in time past. Deliver me from marital confusion; I settle for Your Will for my life Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Lying is not only when you make a statement that is false, it is also living a life that is not true. It is living a fake life.

The tragedy is, there is so much fakeness and lie in our generation today. There is the fakeness or the lie of extra body parts, either behind at the lower region or in front at the upper region?  I heard the story of a lady who did breast implant; a constructive plastic breast surgery to make her breasts bigger. One day while she was in an air-plane flying, right in the aircraft, the fake enhanced breast exploded like a bomb because of the cabin pressure. What a life of lie!

There are people today who gained admission into higher institutions with other people’s certificates? What of the person who reduced his/her age in order to get a job? What about those who have transformed their faces with all manner of colours in the name of makeup? They almost turned themselves into village masquerades, looking the opposite of how God created them. What of the man who married a lady and refused to tell her before entering the marriage that he was impotent or that he had had a child with another woman before? What about the lady who lost her fallopian tubes as a result of ectopic pregnancies of sinful origin and refused to disclose it to her spouse before their wedding?

Yet for ten years now they have been holding hands together to pray to God for divine intervention. 

They have even continued to fast together, trusting God for the fruit of the womb, yet she hid the truth from the husband. What a demonic lie!

It is important to note that the will of God for everyone is to succeed in marriage. This is because marriage is the first institution instituted by God on the earth. (Genesis 2:18, 24).

The truth is, for a marriage to be termed successful; it takes a dogged sense of responsibility from both the man and the woman. Having examined some of the man’s responsibilities in marriage in our previous teachings, today, we shall be dealing with a few responsibilities of the woman as regards marriage:

1. Total submission (Ephesians 5:22):- This is the action of the woman accepting the authority of her husband.

Get this: Submission is not slavery but service; submission is not weakness, rather it is a great strength. Kindly note the following:

*When a woman submits to her husband in everything, it would increase her respect before him. 

*Do not talk back at your husband, rather, talk for your husband.

*It would amount to a colossal mistake to marry a man you are sure you will not be able to respect and obey.

*Wife, do not let your certificate become a weapon that makes it difficult for you to give due regard  to your husband. 

2. Interest in the Man (Genesis 2:18):- The woman is the help-meet of the man, hence she should be interested in the interests of the man.

As a wife, instead of resisting your husband all the times, assist him in fulfilling God’s plan for his life on earth.

We live in a very careless generation where people mind the immediate and ignore the ultimate. You see, people prepare for wedding but never prepare for the marriage – their wedding succeeded but the marriage is a mess. In the same manner, you see people with great ambitions of achieving diverse things on the earth but with zero ambition concerning eternity. What a tragedy!



The question is, what is the ambition of millions of those lying dead at the cemeteries of the world? What is the ambition of those in mortuaries? What do they want to achieve? What is on their expectation cards? Nothing!

Beloved, don’t waste your life chasing shadows. A time will come when ambition would be zero. That is, no more ambition to pursue, and that is when the Owner of life has taken it.

What will you do if the curtains of time are drawn and the channels of eternity are opened? What will you do when the silver cord is broken, when the golden pitcher is broken? What will you do when man returns to his age-long home, when dust returns back to his dust and the spirit returns to the Maker? What will you do when no one cares how well dressed you are because, of course, no one cares about how well dressed a dead person looks? What will you do when nobody cares how fine or beautiful you look because no one cares how beautiful a dead person looks?

Please, don’t spend your life time chasing vanity; don’t squander your time on things that don’t really matter. What will you do if you have just 24 hours to live on earth because one day you will have just 24 hours left to be alive? Will you be able to meet God the way you are looking now?

What will you have to straighten out in your life if you have been told that only 24 hours is left for you to be alive. Please straighten it now. Do it now!

Marriage is a relationship that places so much demand on patience and tolerance. That is why there is a popular saying that marriage is not for boys or for the immature. Indeed marriage is for the matured. And maturity comes with a lot of responsibilities.

Below are some responsibilities of the man to his wife in the school of marriage:-

1. Unconditional love (Ephesians 2:25): - This is an unrestricted affection that emanates from a man’s heart towards his wife.

 

2. Sacrifice (Hebrews 13:16):-This is the extent the man is willing to go for his wife in giving and forbearance. 

 

3. Forgiveness (Ephesians 4:32): - This is realizing that your wife is not perfect the same way you are not perfect. Therefore, be quick to forgive her whenever she offends you.

 

The tragedy today is, some men act so heartless towards their wives because of their inability to forgive them. Some even beat their wives. The truth is, any man that is given to beating his wife is not man enough. He is not qualified to be married in the first place. If you must fight, why don’t you go out there and engage a street gang who are always waiting for an opportunity to fight?

Beloved, you must realize that you didn’t marry someone’s daughter to turn her into a punching bag. You married her to be responsible for her. You married her to love her as yourself. You married her to care for her and to reduce the burdens of her life.

Today, I prophesy fresh grace in your marriage, home and relationship. The last time you failed in your marital responsibility is the last forever, in Jesus’ Name.

Marriage is the legally or formally recognized union of two people, a man and a woman. Simply put, it is the state of being married. 

In marriage, a man leaves his father and his mother in order to be united with his wife (Genesis 2:24). It is critical also to know that God is the originator of marriage. (Genesis 2:18). So, marriage is not just recognized by humanity but it is also approved and recognized by Divinity.

Now, marriage itself is responsibility. The man should be responsible to his wife and the wife should be responsible to her husband.

The truth is, you are meant to relate with your husband or wife the same way Christ relates with His Church. And this applies to singles who will get married someday. Anytime a woman sees her husband, she should be reminded of Christ, and not be reminded of the devil. The man is not meant to be a picture of wickedness in the home or a symbol of tyranny to his wife.

The tragedy today is, some men are the lions of the tribe of their families, including those who are Christians and church workers. When they are returning home from work, their children and wives would begin to quake. This is absolutely not of God.

Beloved, your muscles are not meant to fight your wife but to fight for your wife; it is not to intimidate your wife but to accommodate her. Masculinity is responsibility, and marriage is responsibility.

According to our anchor Scripture, rainfall refers to the end time move of the Holy Ghost. It is a quick work that shall be done by the Holy Spirit just before the coming of the Son of Man. Thus, it is critical for every Christian to consciously expose himself to that rainfall. Surrender yourself to the influence of the Holy Spirit. Be connected to the Holy Spirit, so you don’t end up dry in the season of rainfall.

Just as it is an abomination to suffer shortage in the midst of abundance, or to be thirsty around a river; so it is also an aberration for your spiritual life to suffer dryness in seasons of revival. Struggling in your personal prayer life or battling to study the Word of God in the season of revival is an abnormality. In the days of Pentecost (revival), none of the disciples was permitted to exist fireless (Acts 2:3). The rain of revival triggers spiritual fervency and intensity in the lives of the saints. The rain of revival ignites spiritual fire and revolution. 

Beloved, any revival that doesn’t affect your spiritual fire is a waste.

My counsel is, be connected to the frequency of the Holy Spirit at all times because the Holy Spirit is the channel for revival.

Today, I prophesy the release of the dew and rain of heaven over your life and destiny. The last time you suffered spiritual dryness and kwashiorkor is the last forever, in Jesus’ Name.

It is established that human beings are bound to make mistakes at one point or the other in life. For as long as you are in the flesh, failing or making mistake can be unavoidable especially before encountering Jesus Christ.

The truth is, there is no perfect man, and there is no perfect woman on earth (Ecclesiastics 7:20). Everyone on earth is striving towards perfection until we meet with Jesus Christ face-to-face.

Nevertheless, that no one is perfect on earth is never a license for careless living because careless living can ruin your life and destiny. The crux of the matter is, don’t kill yourself because you made a mistake in the past; don’t end your life because you messed up in the past. Determine to rise again.

Get this: it doesn’t matter how much you have messed up and missed it, you can still make it if you mean it; no matter how far you have gone in the wrong direction, a U-turn is possible. Don’t cry over spilt milk; don’t lament what you cannot amend. If it is not amendable, it is not lamentable. Rise up and move on!

My counsel is, apply for the mercy of God to wipe off your mess. Nothing mesmerizes your mess like the mercy of God. (Hebrews 4:16)

It is a new day for you, in Jesus’ Name.

Lying is the making of false and untrue statement intentionally about someone or something. A liar is a person who says what is not true.

One of the epidemics unleashed on this generation is the epidemic of lying. In our society today, you see people lying like water; a mature adult lying as if acting under a spell. 

Sometime ago, I was in an airport trying to board a flight, and a man who was also at the airport for the same purpose was answering a phone call, and the next thing I heard from his mouth was, ‘I am in Lagos now’ whereas we were at the Abuja airport. What a deceit! And I said, what if the air-plane he was about to board crashes and he dies? That is, he lied shortly before he died. What an expressway to hellfire!

Ananias and Sapphira died and went to hell in one day on the platform of lie and deceit. What killed Ananias and Sapphira was not a witch or a stray bullet, but a ‘little’ lie. Acts 5:1-10. 

Beloved, lying is tantamount to dying; falsehood is the enemy of livelihood. To lie is to die.

The truth is, in the sight of God, there is no small or big lie; a lie is a lie either told on April 1st or any other time. Some people tend to even joke with a lie. When you ask them why they lied, they would say, ‘I was just joking’. What a hellish joke! Anything you say that has the capacity of taking you to hellfire, is it still a joke?

Today, I take authority over the spirit of falsehood, lying or deceit in the lives of individuals, our society and among believers, in Jesus’ Name.

Sometime ago, I was in an aircraft and the man who sat next to me suddenly began to make some incantations. I asked within myself, what is this man up to here? Is he trying to cast a spell on this aircraft for it to crash? No way! So, I adjusted myself close enough to him so he could hear me and began to blast in tongues; jaarshtah… ketuakawa’teya izegenatoxelephratoyash. (It was incantation versus incantation). Then, the occult man looked at me and shifted, I shifted even more closer to him and increased the tempo of the tonguing; I said to him within myself, you were the one that looked for ‘my trouble’, I was on my own when you began to make incantations. Beloved that was how the power of his incantation was yeyerized (neutralized) and we landed safely.

The truth is, it is mystery that tackles mysteries. Nothing dismantles a satanic mystery like the mystery of praying in the Holy Ghost. (1 Corinthians 14:2).

When you are confronted with what you don’t understand, confront that thing with the language it won’t understand.

Get this: The season of praying in the Holy Ghost is the season of high spiritual irrigation that dissolves the mysteries of life and pushes a person to the realm of mastery in life.

Today, I prophesy the dissolution of every satanic mystery around your life by the power of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus’ Name.

Today, our study would be in the form of a question: ‘Is today tomorrow?’

Sometime ago, one of my children met me and made a request which I promised to attend to the next day. In my words, I told him, meet me tomorrow to get what you requested for. So, the following day he met me and asked, ‘Daddy, is today tomorrow?’ That is, the tomorrow you talked about, is it today? Are we in the tomorrow you promised to attend to my request?

After that scenario, as I thought within myself, I realized that time draws closer to us each day that passes; tomorrow will soon become today; today will soon become yesterday; yesterday will soon become bygone days, and bygone days soon become history.

The truth is, the finish line draws closer to us every day that passes; seconds soon become minutes; minutes soon become hours; hours soon become days; days soon become years; and years soon become lifetime.

Beloved, the bitter truth is that every human being on earth is closer to his/her grave today than yesterday. Do not waste your life thinking you have all the time in the world. The life you are living now is not a rehearsal, it is reality. Time is constantly in motion, so you have to keep moving. Please, those great visions you have planned to achieve in future, do them now because delay means decay. The future you have been waiting for is now!

Today, our study is in the form of a question, ‘What is your testimony on earth’? Life is accompanied and evidenced by testimonies. Concerning Samuel for instance, the Bible says:

Samuel said… Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed? From whose hand have I accepted a bribe to make me shut my eyes? ... “You have not cheated or oppressed us,” they replied. “You have not taken anything from anyone’s hand”.1 Samuel 12: 3-4. (NIV)

Incredible! What a testimony!

Beloved, what God says about you and what men say about you are significant to your life and destiny in time and in eternity. Your testimony on earth is crucial to your destination at the end. As a boss, how do you treat people? As a husband, how do you treat your wife? As a wife, how do you treat your husband? As a public office holder or a CEO of a company, how do you treat the people who work for you? Do you deprive them of their salaries and entitlements; do you divert their allowances to your pocket? As an employee, do you do a shabby or mediocre work because you think it is not your private business? Madam, how do you treat your house girl or house boy? Is he or she an object of hate or you care for them the same way you care for your children? 

The truth is, if the people around you do not think you are a  Christian, then, you are not. Be good to people; sow the seed of good deeds in the lives of people, and you will reap the harvest of it in time and in eternity.

2. Make up your mind to maintain a positive testimony before God and men.

According to God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, discipline is doing what is required in order to achieve what is desired. It is enduring the challenges in the immediate so as to create the platform for satisfaction in the ultimate.

The truth is, discipline is the foundation for the future. The future of David would have perished but not for his lifestyle of discipline. David practically became the King of Israel on the wings of discipline. (1 Samuel 18:18). While the rest of his brothers and peer group were squandering their lives at home in idleness, David was right in the bush alone tending the flocks of his father (1 Samuel 16:11). No wonder, the oil of kingship could not drop on the heads of his brothers. But when David arrived, the oil landed on him and he was anointed king over his elder brothers and the entire nation of Israel by the Prophet Samuel.

The meaning is, discipline will always rule over indolence any day. 

Beloved, discipline is a maker of people; if you must be great in life, you must be disciplined. Those who make global mark pay global price; nothing can be global without global inputs. There is no destiny for the undisciplined, there is no future for the indolent and there can be no prospect for the casual. The choice for discipline is the choice to maximally fulfill destiny.

Welcome to another impactful week. I hope you were blessed by last week teaching. Today, we shall focus on: Understanding Covenant Dimensions of Prosperity!

From scriptures, we understand that prosperity in the Kingdom doesn’t answer to fasting nor does it answer to prayer or prayer of agreement. It only answers to our understanding and practice of covenant details.

What we are selling or the business we are involved in is not what determines our prosperity. No! It is the light under which we are operating that determines the results we get.



As it is written, But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day (Deuteronomy 8:18).


Thus, the platform for wealth is released based on the covenant. When we step out into the covenant, we encounter the power to get wealth. Prosperity is not a promise we claim in prayers or with fastings and confession. No! It’s a covenant we practise. That means, God has set a stage for us, but we must understand our part of it and then the power to realise the promise will be delivered to us.


A covenant as it were is like a contract. So, it involves two or more people. In this case, it involves just you and God. God is the covenantor and we are the covenantee; that is, we are the beneficiary of the deal. All we need is a good understanding of what the covenant entails and we will be up in abundance.

The Bible says, My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips (Psalm 89:34). God is a covenant keeper. His side of every covenant is forever secured; it is our side that is variable. But when we lay hold on the terms that relate to us and apply ourselves to it, God is committed. And once we locate the covenant and we enter into it, our struggles will come to an end.

Since that day in March 1981 when I saw the covenant of prosperity, I entered into my rest. We don’t pray or fast for a covenant, we just enter into it.

As it is written, And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul; And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about (2 Chronicles 15:12, 15).


What Then, Is The Covenant Dimension Of Prosperity?

The Covenant will Always Prevail: When God said to Abraham, …Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:1-2).


He moved as he was commanded yet he met famine there (Genesis 12:9-10). But in spite of that famine Abraham prevailed! As it is written, And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold (Genesis 13:2).

Also, the Bible records that Isaac prevailed in famine, And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.

Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possessions of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him (Genesis 26:1, 12-14).

Note that the covenant is stronger than any climate! There is no economic dearth or crisis that can break the efficacy of the covenant. Furthermore, in Jacob’s time, … the famine was sore in the land (Genesis 43:1). But in spite of this, Jacob still had more than enough.

So, famine is not our problem, ignorance of the covenant is the problem. God said in Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… not for famine or for economic crisis of money failure.

In summary, if famine could not stop our covenant fathers, famine cannot stop us because the economy of our nation has no bearing on our covenant walk with God. I see the covenant prevail for you in your time! May everything that is against you bow to the power of this covenant!

However, the only way to prove the reality of new birth is to genuinely repent and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so.


Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me! Now, I know I am born again!

Divine inspiration is gaining access to that which only God knows. It is coming to the point where you are supernaturally connected to hidden secrets from God.

The truth is, the common man depends on his common sense and that is why he sees only common results in his life. But Kingdom people depend on Kingdom or Divine sense and experience extraordinary or excellent results in life. Divine inspiration is a ladder for distinction. There is something God would show you that can make you achieve in one day what would take others one year to achieve. 

Divine secrets are behind the making of kingdom stars. Nothing makes a star like divine sense. Nothing distinguishes people like the wisdom of God. 

Divine inspiration is critical to gaining unusual speed in life. To be devoid of supernatural wisdom is to wallow in struggles and frustrations in life. Nothing slows life and destiny down like the deficiency of divine inspiration and direction.  

Beloved, do not molest yourself by waiting for a mortal man for hours to beg for money. Rather, desperately wait on the Lord for a divine idea. One idea that God would give you can wipe off your long-term pocket affliction (poverty) and terminate the yoke of slow motion in your life.

Today, I declare the release of fresh light, insight, inspiration, wisdom and idea that would give you a 360-degree turnaround, in Jesus’ Name.

IMITATION – THE LIMITATION OF DESTINY

Imitation is the copying of a pattern of activity or thought of a person.

From our anchor Scripture above, it is clear that there is an imitation that is good, void of offence and free of competitive jealousy. On the contrary, there is an imitation that is bad. This type of imitation tries to outdo, undo and outshine others. It is potent with competitive jealousy and strife.

The truth is, imitation is the foundation for limitation; the struggle to be like somebody is the reason for nobodies. Nothing brings out the best in you like being yourself. To be the best, you must be yourself; to be yourself is to beat the rest. 

Beloved, the fact that your neighbour is flourishing in kerosene business or real estate business does not mean God destined you to do same. That your neighbour relocated abroad and he is now doing well does not mean your destiny is to live abroad. Most people run to America thinking that once they get there, all their problems would be over. On the contrary, the problems of some of them even worsened.

The truth is, help is not abroad; help is above. Your allocation is not necessarily abroad; your allocation is connected to where God wants you to be per time. If God did not send you to Germany and you relocate there, you must jam needs there. If God did not send you to England and you relocate there, you won’t be glad there. And if God didn’t send you to Russia and you go there, you must rush back.

My counsel is, locate your God-ordained spot and remain there. You shall make it, in Jesus’ Name.

From our anchor Scripture above, we can ascertain clearly that man’s greatest enemy is not the devil. Man’s greatest enemy is not a witch in the village, an occult uncle, native witch doctor, or a wicked step mother; man’s greatest enemy is not even cancer or other deadly diseases. Man’s greatest enemy in life is that old man called the FLESH. Your worst enemy is yourself, your flesh.

The truth is, your flesh can do to you what the devil may not do to you. The destruction your flesh can bring upon you, an outright enemy may not do that to you.

For instance, the children of Israel did to themselves what the ‘witchcraft’ of Balaam could not do to them; they allowed their flesh to ruin them by committing immorality and idolatry (Numbers 22, 23, 24 and 25).

Note that the flesh can terminate life and destiny faster than any terminal disease. To be crucified in the flesh is to be positioned for eternity with God.

Beloved, the greatest prayer to pray is not to get more money, fruit of the womb or life partner; the greatest prayer to pray is to ask God to set you free from the ways of the flesh.  The way of the flesh is the way of anger, bitterness, immorality, envy or jealousy. It is the way of lying, fraud, cheating, duping, falsification of age or documents. The way of the flesh is also the way of pride, arrogance, ostentation, lust and vanity. And the end of the flesh is eternal regret in hell fire. That will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name. determine to live above the ways and dictates of the flesh.

There is a connection between picture and future; there is a link between what you picture and where you will feature in the future. What you can see today is intertwined with where you can be tomorrow.

The truth is, what you picture determines what you can capture; your perception determines your possession; if you can perceive it, you can possess it. Your life will only move in the direction of your revelation. What is your perception about God and about life generally? It determines what you can achieve on earth.

Vision determines destination: Where you see yourself determines where you would find yourself eventually. If in the midst of frustration you can picture elevation, in a short time, that frustration would be swallowed up by the elevation you picture. You are not going anywhere until you can see somewhere. Your future is not at the mercy of your name or title; your future is at the mercy of your vision. How far you see determines how high you can reach.

The worst form of blindness is not the blindness of the eyes but the blindness of the mind. To be blind mentally is to be denied destiny. Shallow mind equals shallow life; shallow vision equals shallow future.

My counsel is, let the picture of your preferred future fill your mind always; if you can see it, you will seize it.

It has been confirmed that nothing is comparable to doing God’s will for one’s life. Will, in this context connotes plan, agenda or purpose. From our anchor Scripture above, what Jesus meant by, ‘Nevertheless not my will, but thine be done’ was, ‘Father, I abandon my will for Your Will in my life; I relinquish my will for Yours; it is not what I want for me but what You want for me.’

The truth is, to be wheeled into God’s Will for your life is to be wheeled into winning in life. If you follow His Will, you win; if you neglect His Will, you waste.

Beloved, there is nothing more fulfilling than being in the will of God for your life. The best place to be is not in Aso Rock (presidential) Villa of Nigeria; it is not in Paris, it is not the White House in the USA; the best place to be is in the centre of God’s Will for your life and destiny.

Concerning your career, what is God’s purpose for you? Concerning your marital destiny, what is His will for you? Concerning your business, concerning that journey or that step you are about to take, what is God’s Will for you? The greatest asset of anyone is knowing and doing what God wants him or her to do in life.

Looking up to God implies having total trust and confidence in God. Looking up to God is focusing your gaze completely on God. Looking up to Jesus is looking away from your money or possessions and focusing on Jesus alone. Looking up to God is turning away from man as your reason for living.

The tragedy today is, most people look at their pastor as their healer instead of God; But the pastor is just an instrument in God’s Hand. Some see their rich relations or boss in their offices as their savior or the reason why they are alive. They could go as far as telling such people, ‘If you don’t help me, I am dead.’ This is an aberration!  How can you tell a mortal man that if he doesn’t help you, you are finished? It means you are really finished; that statement has finished you already! Never put your trust in man. 

Nothing finishes a person like trusting in man; to trust in man is to rust in life. This is because man can fail, man can change, man can lie, man can die, man can age, but God is ageless, changeless, dieless and weariless.  God is too dependable to deceive you, He is too reliable to reverse, He is too faithful to fail you. So, fix your gaze on Him alone at all times. He will help you.

Responsibility is the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something. It is the quality of being accountable. It is the ability to respond appropriately to diverse situations of life.

There is a marriage between responsibility and authority. The acceptance of responsibility is critical to accessing authority in life. Responsible people are ‘authoritative’ people. 

Just as there can be no action without outcome, no product without a process and no provision without a condition, so also, there can be no authority without responsibility. Authority is not attainable in the absence of responsibility.

The truth is, irresponsibility is the enemy of authority; laziness is an attack on any form of attainment in life. Indifference is a reason for insufficiency in life.

It may interest you to note that there are three categories of people in the world. First, the people who make things happen. Second, the people who watch things happen, and third, the people who wonder and ask, ‘What is happening?’ The second and third categories of people are those who do not want to be responsible for anything happening at all. They prefer to fold their hands and watch others work; they dodge responsibilities all the time.  Such people are allergic to assignment and addicted to laziness. And you cannot be allergic to work and be worth anything in life; you cannot be addicted to laziness and escape embarrassment in life.

Beloved, authority is a scarce realm for the indolent. Please, embrace responsibility and eschew irresponsibility if authority is your desire.

It can be seen from our anchor Scripture that there is a relationship between the Blessing of God and the Defence of God.

The office of the President of a nation or an Ambassador to a nation is accompanied with strong security and heavy immunity; in the same manner, the Blessing of God is accompanied with the security and defence of God. To be blessed by God, therefore, is to be secured by God.

The truth is, the difference between those who get rich by fraud, corruption or diabolic means and those who are rich by the Blessing of God is in the security of their resources and the defence of their lives. In contemporary times, there are people who were in top government positions, some were even referred to as, ‘His Excellency’ or ‘Honourable’ but have been grounded today either by affliction or by poverty. Some were billionaires but today, they are either broke or bankrupt. There are so many diabolic rich people who cannot sleep at night. What a life! But God-given wealth is different; it comes with divine security, defence, rest and peace of mind. 

Beloved, any progress outside of God will end in disgrace; a life outside of Christ must crash. The fact is, nothing sustains riches like the Blessing; nothing guarantees the security of life like the Blessing of God. Make up your mind to pursue the Blessing of God in order to be secured and preserved in life and destiny.

Happy Independence Day Celebration-Nigeria!

I congratulate our great nation on this colourful day, for the attainment of political independence 59 years ago. It is indeed a special day in the history of Nigeria. I also congratulate you and appreciate God for making you to step into the tenth month of the year, 2019.

Today, I prophesy to you that the month of October shall answer for you; that long-awaited freedom you desire in your life and family shall happen in this season, in Jesus’ Name.

Now, today being the beginning of a new month and the Independence Day celebration, we shall look at Beginning with God – a key to freedom. 

The question is, what do you need to do in every new beginning in order to experience liberty and freedom in every area of your life?

From our anchor Scripture above, it is very important to know that every new beginning begins with God. This is why the Scripture says, in the beginning God… (Genesis 1:1). Nothing provokes freedom like beginning with God.

To know success in life, you must begin with God. Your liberation is connected to your revelation of God. Nothing can be successful outside of God; to be independent of God is to be deficient of good. Imprisonment continues outside of God; Confinement remains without God. To be independent of God is to be ineffective in life.

Beloved, if this month must deliver to you what you desire; if freedom from sickness, satanic oppression, poverty, affliction, barrenness, marital bondage or anti-marital spell is your desire,  then begin with God; invite Him into your life, involve Him in your life’s decisions, let God be the Centre of your life. Like Moses, you must come to the point of refusing to take a step forward if God is not with you,(Exodus 33:15). You shall make it, in Jesus’ Name.

Sometime ago, a man by the name William Carey worked for eight years translating the Bible into different Indian languages. After so much labour in that endeavour, the printing press caught fire and his translations got burnt; everything disappeared overnight. People expected him to cry. They asked him what he was going to do after such a disaster. He said that the fire has done two things to him: first, the fire has burnt off the interpretations that were wrong, and second, the fire has also given him and his team the wide publicity they would not have gotten. 

He worked at it again and came up with better translations within a shorter period of time because he refused to allow a setback to become his grave yard. He operated at his best because he decided to live beyond his past.

Beloved, you are at your best when you live beyond your past, when you do not allow your past to tie you down.

Daniel was a slave in a strange land but he did not allow his slavery to tamper with his destiny (Daniel 1:1-6). You are at your best when you do not allow your history to become your misery.

In addition, Daniel was a man who lived the life of purpose. He refused to live an aimless life. He also decided to take a stand with God both publicly and privately.

Beloved, determine to uphold these principles and no devil can stop you from living at your best, in Jesus’ Name.

From scriptures, it can be confirmed that Daniel, who was taken to Babylon as captive, lived life at its best. He became the head politically, academically and spiritually. The same Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the King’s food (Daniel 1:. He ended in excellence and became a notable personality in Babylon.

We are going to look at the character of Daniel and what it takes to live life at its best.

Daniel was a man who elevated principles above pleasure. This is refusing to violate your principles or lower your standards for anything. Daniel was also a man who elevated conscience above convenience. That is the way to the top in life.

Now, from the life of Daniel, here is one of the ways to live life at its best.

You are at your best when you are beyond stain

This is living beyond the stain of sin. Daniel purposed not to defile himself and he lived at his best. The quality of gold or oil is reduced by impurity. The quality of a man’s life is reduced by iniquity. It is not possible to live at your best when you live with the stain of sin.

Among the animals, there are two major animals that are leading in the animal kingdom.

The one leading in the forest is called the lion and the one leading in the air is called the eagle. They both have one thing in common – they do not eat rotten flesh. It is also on record that the eagle has only one mate for life. So, to be a lion or an eagle personality, you must refuse corruption.

It is crucial to understand that one of the most powerful forces on earth is knowledge. Both the right and the wrong kinds of knowledge are powerful; the right knowledge has a transforming power but the wrong knowledge has a destructive power. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the fruit that God told them not to eat, their original destiny according to the creative intent of God was instantly destroyed. On the other hand, when the disciples of Jesus knew Jesus as the Christ, the Saviour of the world, and also had the knowledge of His Word, they were transformed.

Now, let us see how powerful the right knowledge is. 

The right knowledge is key to stability. Isaiah 33:6 says, And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times…. So, knowledge gives stability. As a child of God, a business person, civil servant, pastor, etc., what you know determines your stability in life.

The reason many Christians are tossed to and fro by different doctrines from the pit of hell is the lack of the knowledge of God’s Word. 

If anyone tells me that he has seen Jesus a thousand times, I will not doubt him, but if he says that the Jesus he saw said something that is contrary to the scripture, I will discard his words; it does not matter how spiritual he claims to be. This is because God never breaks His Word or His principles.

Ignorance, therefore, facilitates instability. An ignorant person is an easily moveable person.
