Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 12 August 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Understanding The Tithe

TOPIC: Understanding The Tithe (Seeds Of Destiny 12 August 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The tithe is not yours; the tithe is God’s portion in your possession.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2022 MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that understanding is key to outstanding existence in life; what you know is what you can show. In other words, knowledge is showledge. Also, what you see is what you can seize.

One reason people remain under the bondage of poverty is the ignorance of the secret of the blessing of abundance and supernatural supplies which is accessible through the tithe.

In our study today, we shall seek to understand what the tithe is all about.

The tithe does not address the needs of God; it is targeted towards addressing the needs of man
It is important to know that nothing changes with God if man does not pay tithe, but everything changes with the man who does not pay tithe. We do not pay tithe because God is in need, we pay tithe because we are in need. It was not because God was looking for fruit to eat that He told Adam not to eat the forbidden fruit (Genesis 2:15-17). So, the tithe does not address the needs of God; it is targeted towards addressing the needs of man.

The tithe is not a giving but a payment
A person gives what he owns but pays what he owes. You give your offerings but you pay your tithe; you give what is yours but you pay what you owe. This is why God said in Malachi 3:8 that we rob Him if we did not pay our tithe. It is robbery if we spend our tithe. If you use your tithe to buy a cloth and wear it, you are literally wearing a stolen cloth or cloth bought from stolen money. That is not your portion in Jesus’ Name.

So, the tithe is not yours; the tithe is God’s portion in your possession. The tithe is God’s portion in man’s possession.

Remember this: The tithe is not yours; the tithe is God’s portion in your possession.

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 11 August 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Quality Association – A Key To Greater Heights In Life

TOPIC: Quality Association – A Key To Greater Heights In Life

SCRIPTURE: He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Proverbs 13:20.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you walk with giants, you cannot take dwarfish steps.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2022 MESSAGE:

It has been established that association defines destiny. The association you keep directly takes you to or away from your destiny. The company you keep determines where you will end. So, company is critical to destiny.

Now, one major effect of association is that association determines assimilation and impartation.

Assimilation means absorbing knowingly or unknowingly what the person you are walking with carries. What the person you keep company with carries flows into you consciously or unconsciously.

For example, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego charged each other in maintaining their stance for God by refusing to bow to the image of the king. Peter and John also charged themselves. And if your association is with a person of higher level of unction, it brings impartation to you. Your association with a higher anointed person makes his/her unction to flow down upon you because water will always flow down the gradient.

For example, one reason God has helped us to build a massive structure like the Glory Dome is because of our association with a higher unction, God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo. I saw the foundation of Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland. I saw how the structure was built from the scratch. We once worshipped in that structure when there was no roof on it. So, the Glory Dome is a product of such massive inspiration and impartation.

Beloved, if you walk with giants, you cannot take dwarfish steps. By all means, your steps will become those of giants. And if a giant gave birth to you, you are genetically implicated for height.

Remember this: If you walk with giants, you cannot take dwarfish steps.

The Scripture makes it clear that it is the Will of God for His children to exist in the realm of enviable Blessing. God’s Purpose for His children is for them to become channels of Blessing.

According to our anchor Scripture, God seemed to have told Abraham, “If you are ready to be a blessing, I will bless you. If you want to be a flowing river, your river will not dry”. The truth is, one way to remain permanently blessed is to remain a channel of Blessing.

Now, the question is, what are the categories of people that God wants us to be a blessing to?

Being a Blessing to the Kingdom.
God wants us to be a Blessing to the Kingdom. David made up his mind not to give sleep to his eyes until he became a blessing to the Kingdom of God (Psalm 132:4-5). And that decision brought him to a realm of unstoppable blessing.
Being a Blessing to the Poor.
In Genesis 14:14, Abraham raised other people’s children in his house. He trained and armed them. No wonder he was a blessed man.
The Lord will always deliver anyone that blesses the poor (Psalm 41:1).
Being a Blessing to the Family.
If your parents eat from you and bless you, no witch can curse you. If your wife and your children eat from you and bless you, no devil can reverse that blessing.
Ephesians 6:1-2 says,
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise

Obedience is different from honour. To obey your parents means to carry out their instructions, but to honour your parents means to communicate value, appreciation or to give them of your resources. It is a doorway to the Blessing.

Beloved, determine to remain a flowing river and you can never run dry of the Blessing.

Remember this: One way to remain permanently blessed is to remain a channel of Blessing.

MESSAGE:

Character has been identified as one of the greatest assets of life and destiny. Where there is no character, there can be no sustainable destiny. One thing that distinguished Joseph from his brothers was his positive godly character.

In our study today, we shall look at how important character is to life and destiny.

1. Who you are (or your character) is more important than what you can do.

Your character is more important than what you can do. It doesn’t matter what you can do, if your character is out of order your destiny is out of order. A disordered character will always produce a disordered life and destiny. You may be the best artiste, carpenter, fashion designer, architect or doctor, all these pale into insignificance when compared with your character.

2. Who you are (or your character) is more important than who you know.
You may know the president of your country; and the president may give you recommendations to get a job, but it is who you are (or your character) that keeps the job.

Who you are (or your character) is far more important than who you know.

3. Who you are (or your character) is more important than the grade of your certificate.
Your character is more important than your grade or certificate in school. You may have a first class grade but without a first class character, your destiny or future is not guaranteed.
Beloved, what is my counsel to you today? Treasure a godly character. Prioritize the development of quality, positive and godly character above all things. Let people see the character of Christ in you.

Remember this: Who you are (or your character) is more important than what you can do.
