Genius000: @ adedrizzy who is your sponsor? is it your Biological Parents?
What is the relationship between you and your sponsor, did you prove it?
Did your sponsor declare any specific amount for you?
Did your sponsor proof his source of income?
The inflow/outflow from your sponsor(s) account was it consistent and substantial?
Did you pay your fees? Not compulsory, but important if sponsor is third party.
Did your sponsor transfer money to your account and justify it? Not compulsory, but important if sponsor is third party.
The available balance in your sponsor account could it cover your total expenses for a year?
Answer all the questions, we can continue later.. Hello @Genius000 My sponsor is not my biological parent, he is my uncle and we aren't bearing the same surname. He had an account balance of 9m with an inflow and outflow of more than 30m, he even did an affidavit of sponsorship for me , he didn't transfer any money to my account but showed proof that he was the one that paid half of my fees. How exactly do i tackle this or do i need to order for a GCMS note? Cos i was thinking of paying my full school fees and also hostel fees. |

Good morning nairalanders. I woke up to this message from CIC from CIC that my application has been delayed. I just want to thank God that they didn't waste my time cos i submitted Dec 13 and i believe i still have enough time to reapply as my school starts in May. I would love all the gurus in the house to please assist me on this cos at the moment all what have learnt on this forum has blacked out of my head temporarily and as i can see from here my refusal details is a little bit different from others and i believe may be simple to tackle. God bless you all.

pokerboy: Hello guys... please i'm new here and I need help... I submitted my application at Lagos on Dec 5 2016 and now I've only been told that my application has been transferred to Lagos and is under processing.... Do i go ahead to do a medical exam ? How will i go about it ? Also my last and final resumption option is May 1st 2017... does it usually take this long ? its been about 8 weeks now... Sorry, did you mean to say it was transferred to Accra Ghana? Cos i don't think it can be transferred to Lagos and still be under processing. I believe a decision has been made for it to be transferred to Lagos and no need for medicals. You can clear me up should in case i didn't get you. |

ChristoBam: Hey guys a friend told me that it's a compulsion to pay tuition fees before one can obtain a Canadian student visa. Please how true is this Its not true. Paying tuition fees just gives you an edge and shows your financial strength. A lot of people have gotten their visas without paying any tution, but for me, i will advice you pay maybe a half of it even though its not compulsory. |

jayjayjay007: Hello All,
Praise the Lord with me my visa has been approved and I have been called to come and collect my passport.
I applied for a Post graduate certificate degree in George brown college. I already have a masters so was scared they were going to reject me cuz i was going for pgc. 2ndly I was changing field. my bsc is in chemical engineering, masters is project mgt yet the program i applied for is IT business analysis (lied abit that i have 1 years experience in it). 3rd challenge was my passport needed renewal which i found out when they told me submit my passport (luckily this ended up not being an issue. I just had to go to passport office sharp sharp it took like 5 days to get it.
I did my Medical and police report upfront and submitted with my application Online. The documents I submitted were what was asked for in the document checklist. The only extra thing I submitted was Statement of explanation (subtly highlighted why i changed my field).
Date of Online application: 17th Sept 2016 Date of Biometrics: 27th Sept 2016 (couldnt get time off work sooner) Date of passport request: 28th Nov2016 Date of passport submission: 2nd Dec 2016 Passport ready for collection: 13th Dec 2016
Thank you all who helped me through this journey and answered my queries and concerns. May God do your own too. I personally found a lot of things that could be have disqualified people on a normal day in this your application ..... But this has taught me God's grace on everybody is different.... Congratulations! And shoutout to everybody assisting for one thing or the other on this platform. God bless ya all..... |

Mikymiko: What programme are u going for (PGC/PGD, Undergraduate, Masters or Ph.d)?
Pay your school fees first and include the receipt in ur application.
Let your sponsor provide an affidavit of support sworn before a Notary Public.
Remember to add your parents or your personal assets i.e land documents.
Then include your birth certificate. Boss.. God bless you! Its an PGD course and my sponsor has his letter of support ready but not an affidavit of a Notary public, i hope this will be also fine |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Adedrizzy(m): 7:47pm On Nov 13, 2016 |
Nony1: Mine took 11 weeks and 4 days. But always bear that 15 weeks in mind.
You need to write a good letter of support as well as affidavit of support. You should work on proving the relationship between you and your sponsor.
Are u applying for winter term?
I wish you all the best. Thanks a lot.. I appreciate it. Its for Sept next year |
