Sorry I ve not bn in touch,series of events came up. My wife got a family Dr through her aunt in Maryland who because of the relationship he waved his doctors fees ( he is a well renowned Dr in Maryland- waived $3000 ) so we settled for southern maryland hospital
Our baby girl came via CS on the 21st October and every1 is doing well including me.
My wife stayed 2 days at the hospital and our fees now is just about $6500 but we stil I await the lab fees.
All in all am sure we wnt spend up to $8000.
I am totally grateful to the Doctor I guess we are just so lucky, we already have her birth certificate ,social security number and we will start the process for both the NAIja and US passport on Tuesday.
I am her till the 17th but they will be back home by the end of the month

I really appreciate it,this is really cool,was budgeting about $10k and now $6.5 is just great ,she can even do epidural and have excess money for additional shopping.

Thanks you ve been wonderful my family (wife,son and mother inlaw )leaves this coming week for newyork, wifey is not due til end of October but I wnt them to go early and settle well.i will also join them at the end of October for 2 weeks.
At point of entry she will declare she is coming to have her baby and will declare cash of about $13k( though at the interview in April it was holidays we said we wr going for and they never asked if she was pregnant)

Thanks, I am not traveling with her,she will be traveling with her mum and our 2 yrs old son,but I will join them for a few weeks after she gives birth in October by God's grace

Yes o my wife is,stil in NAIja but she will be leaving for newyork in exactly 4 weeks, so please we don't mind if you can help with the details of the hospital in newyork that charges 8k , we are paying cash so am sure we can still get a good bargain.
