ONE HONEST LEADER.
How can a former Head of State who earns 300 million Naira per annum, say he has no N27 Million to buy presidential nomination form? A very pertinent question, I must say. And as someone who believes in knowing the truth before acting, I took my enquiry to the Nigerian ministry of finance and this was the response I got: Yes, it is true, All heads of states collect on the average 23 million Naira every month, apart from General Muhammadu Buhari. He (General Buhari) objected to collecting most of the allowances, insisting they were bogus and therefore amount to corruption. He personally wrote a letter to the ministry to that effect. As a result he collected only N2.3M a month equivalent of 10% of what he is entitled, which he believes is his legitimate earnings!! Imagine how honest this man is!! May God give us the wisdom to accept reality. Please let's vote wisely, we need a leader that can fight corruption. Buhari is that leader.
Investigation also has it on authority that he is the only one amongst past presidents who returns his car after a 4 year cycle for a replacement as required. Others get the new and keep the old. Share with Nigerians.

MzNelly: "Woo" in this context means walking up to a guy and asking him to be more than a friend to you. Like.... "Will you be my boyfriend?"
Now, why shouldn't you do that? Read on:
1. It's a man's world. Let HIM do the "chyking."
2. His respect for you will decrease, even if it's just a LITTLE, trust me.
3. There's a 99.9% chance he'll turn you down.thank God it's not islamically wrong
4. If he doesn't turn you down, he won't take you seriously.
5. If he does turn you down, his friends will hear about it. Get ready to be labelled all sorts of names.
6. His ego will feel bruised. He's a man. All men like to feel on top of every situation.
7. There are tons of guys who'd ask you out. Must you do that to yourself?
8. If you send him signals and he doesn't pick up on the hints, HE'S NOT INTO YOU.
9. Ignore these feminists. You and a man don't share any equal rights. Pfft.
10. It's Biblically wrong. You doubt? ---Genesis 3:16
"Woo" him at your own risk.

The goodnews is none of their family members have threatened to kill them or even called them infidel for converting to Islam. That's how a peaceful religion should be. And that Moji is making a mistake. You don't need an intermediary to know God in christianity. I'm a Muslim and my elder sis is a xtian and we still live in peace. That is what Islam teaches |

eherbal: Recently a lot of Nollywood famous stars have dumped Christianity for Islam. Each one of them had his/her own reason to do so.
Liz Da Silva
This Nollywood actress was dating Christian, MC Oluomo, but later she left him for a younger Muslim man Olaoye. They got married and have a baby boy.
Because of son, who was named Roheem, she changed her religion. She converted to Islam and adopted the Muslim name Aishat.
Laide Bakare
After this Nollywood star divorced her Christian husband, she met a rich man from Lagos. His name is Alhaji Tunde Orilowo aka ATM. Because of the union, she converted to Islam and joined his fleet of wives.
“Why I Converted To Islam” – Popular Nollywood Actress Speaks Out
Moji Olaiya
She has Christian parents, her father is a famous Nigerian singer Victor Olaiya. But due to family troubles, she left her husband and three children and then converted into Islam. She states that Islam gives her more power and inner calm. She commented:
“Honestly, Islam is a peaceful religion. The aspect I love most is that you don’t need any pastor to get closer to God. You don’t really need anybody to pray for you. You can always pray on your own and Almighty Allah will answer your prayer without any intermediary. I have been doing that since I became a Muslim and it has always worked for me.”
Lizzy Anjorin
Lizzy is a popular Yoruba actress. She was born in Christian family. Soon after she traveled to Mecca for Hajj, She insisted to critics that she has always been a Muslim because her mother is a Muslim as wekk. But rumors have i that her conversion was made because of her new date, an Alhaji – a big boss from Lagos.
Why I Converted To Islam – Actress, Liz Anjorin
She said on her conversion that:
“Actually, my conversion to Islam is not new, it’s only that people were not aware. I have been a Muslim for long. I even have pictures to support that. Although my name is Elizabeth, which is the Christian name my dad gave me because he was a Christian.
Then, I also have a Muslim name, Aishat, given to me by my mother, who was a Muslim. Also, some from my mother’s family members also named me Sekinat. Even my daughter’s name is Rufaidat. So, I grew with the two religions. And being the only child of my parents, I was given so many names, including Egandogo, Omosolape, Akanke. My Badagry name is Yenukunmun, meaning Isoju ota ni nse maa se rere (I will excel in the presence of my enemies).”
Vivian Metchie aka Fareedah
This gorgeous Nollywood star was born to Catholic father and a Deeper Life Mother. Then she married a man who was a member of the Redeemed Church. Due to religious confusion, Vivian left Christianity and converted to Islam. She confessed that: “It is a personal decision. I understand the Koran more than the bible… I was probably looking for peace. Yeah! That was what I was looking for and I found it in the Koran.”

Islam › Re: Poetic Da'wah And Other Da'wahtic Writings by Adek15(m): 10:05am On Nov 28, 2014 |
sino: Assalam alaykum brothers and sisters,
Having read some good poetry recently, i decided to recreate this topic, even though i should have done so earlier....
I believe most people do have something to write, but are not willing to write or share, perhaps, they are shy (like me sometimes), perhaps they are just plain lazy (like me again!)
So lets learn about the deen, inspire and motivate spirituality, and most importantly, lets do da'wah in the most amazing way....
Poetic Da’wah and other Da’wahtic writings
In the name of Allah the creator, May His Peace and Blessings be upon the noble prophet Muhammad (SAW), his household, and his companions and upon us all ameen.
Allah says in the glorious Qur’an: “who is better in speech than one who calls to Allah, does righteous deeds and says indeed I am among the Muslims” (Quran 41 vs. 33)
“you are the best nation raised up for mankind, you enjoin what is good and forbid what is bad and you believe in Allah” (Quran 3 vs. 110) “Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong; they are the ones to attain felicity.” (Qur’an 3 vs. 104)
Narrated Abu Hurayrah ra
“Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said: He who called (people to righteousness, there would be reward (assured) for him like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect. And he who called (people) to error, he shall have to carry (the burden) of its sin, like those who committed it, without their sins being diminished in any respect.” (Sahih Muslim)
This thread, as the title implies, is basically about da’wah. Initially, I wanted it to be only about poetry, but I observed that most people do not find poetry fascinating.
Therefore, the idea is to share poetry, as well as any form of writing, written by you or anyone else, which connotes da’wah, something that will rekindle our faith as well as invite people to this beautiful way of life.
NB. Da’wah is an Arabic word which simply means call or invitation, in Islam; it means to invite people to Islam or inviting to good and righteous deeds. It is one of the responsibilities of a Muslim. The prophet (SAW) was reported to have said; “convey from me, even it be only a single verse” (Sahih al Bukhari)
I shall begin with poetry, which I had earlier posted on this section ma sha Allah and will subsequently add more in sha Allah.
I look forward to everyone’s contributions wow!!! |

UjSizzle: That's confusing. Because Esther told Klaus he was the reason they were a family again (she and Mikael). At that time Freya was taken, she had only Finn. Then Mikael wandered off and she had an affair with the wolf guy, hence Klaus. So how then is it that Elijah is always seen as the older one
Tell me I'm heard wrong when I watched, or this is one TO glitch Esther was pregnant when freya was taken and the child she gave birth to is ................ Elijah |
Christianity Etc › Re: Akudaya:myth Or Reality? by Adek15(m): 9:09pm On Nov 15, 2014 |
Empiree: Akudaya: Myth or Reality?
What is Akudaya? It simply means incarnation or reincarnation.
Myth or Reality? Both
Explain please: It is a myth because when a person dies he(or she) does not come back to life(world). He(or she) can no longer be seen. How then is it real. But we hear stories about them. So?. Jinn(Alujonu) at work. They take form of dead people. They could take form of your grandfather that died longtime ago and people who know your grandfather will confirm seeing him. In short, the reality is 'he' is seen. The myth is the person seen is not your real grandfather. You can get deep sense of this in Islam. When someone dies, that's it. The person is dead for real whether natural death or murdered. Jinns reside in dirty, filthy places, like bathroom, filthy uncompleted building. That's why it's advisable to wear clothe to cover private part when taking shower. Cover yourself with blanket (etc) during intercourse. Don't be scared now. They don't necessarily reside in all dirty bathrooms or places. Jinns are endowed with supernatural perception. They lodge where they can see human but human beings can not see them. They can see you taking shower, having intercourse etc. Most of them are liars. Never take their words seriously. In a nutshell, if you see "Akudaya", a relative, he or she is not your relative so long as the person is dead. Hope this answer your question. See if you can find useful info in this link. https://www.nairaland.com/209195/islam-exorcism then how come he even sired children.. I really wanna know more from Islamic perspective pls |
