OP, your vision and ideas is nice; but only people who understands your vision will appreciate it enough to partner with you. I used to have this same idea too(not food business) but the key to unlock it lies on capital. Then I picked these books series on investment, sales and management by the likes of Donald Trump, Brian Tracy, Robert Kiyosaki, Zig Ziglar and a host of others. I get an understanding that if one wants to hit a $million business, first trade with $1 if you can grow this to a $1000 and subsequently invest in something else till you climb up, it will be easy. Though I understand that you have started this some years back and also involved some experts, but still press on. Hardly will you find people who carry your vision in heart without waiting to get something in return. #BigDreamBigSuccess |
OP, really no one cares. I made up my mind long ago to govern my life not living it in the hand of any man in the name of "Government". I started business right from the university selling stuffs on my bunk in Awo Hall, OAU. I started with 5k borrowed from a friend and later got a turnover far above 30k weekly. During my service days in Delta state, I owned a tutorial centre where I employed corpers like me ad get them paid per period. I also got two PPAs and also did pop-corn business using gas cooker(one which a welder devised for me). After my service year, I got a job in Delta but paid far below my expectation(N30K). Later pulled out of the job and became an education trainer and consultant. I trained people in AutoCAD(especially most Poly students in Oghara, Ozoro and environs all in Delta including the Delta state University). I later got a job here in lagos after spending more than two years out of job, yet the salary was nothing to write home about. Later on another job came which promised big fish yet the company was hit by recession when we have to go several months without pay. I almost threw in the towel when my wedding was approaching and no money to put things together, yet people believed you are working and also a graduate. To end my story, every point you pass through in life, learn from it because you will need the knowledge to pass the next test of life. OP, I ensure grooming my self in my field but I also distribute Packaged Pounded Yam for corporate workers close to my office(guess how much I started it? less than 20k. I pay my workers 1k per day since it is targeted for Lunch hour only). Though, I employed people who helped to pound it while I reach out in calls to those who placed their orders. Whether salary comes or not, I feed my family and pay bills (ask married people how messy it could be if yo are the last yet to pay soakaway, PHCN, Security etc.) That is settled, my co-workers even lend from me. Mehn! challenges also teach us lessons we may hardly learn within the four corners of a classroom. What you are going through is not typical to you alone. |
Also you can add a potash alum stone (yoruba calls it KAN-UN). This works very well even when I try cooking beans. |

From your comments, both of you seems to just dabble into the relationship without knowing each other well. In a case like this, just take a break (I don't mean you should tell her you are done). By this, you relieve yourself of too much concentration on her. Though the feeling will trap in, but it will allow you to work on yourself and become a better you. If she is for you, she will surely yield when time comes. If you continue this way, you might lose her and also not fit for another relationship because you fail to work on yourself. To marry an angel, you need to first make a heaven for her. |
Source:brightside.me In our era of advanced technology and high-speed Internet connections, you can find information on virtually anything. In the space of just a few minutes, we can find recipes for the tastiest pie or learn all about the theory of wave-particle duality. But more often than not, we have to sift through a vast body of knowledge to get the information we need, and this can take hours rather than minutes. This is why Bright Side has put together a list of the most effective methods for searching Google to help you find the precious material you’re looking for in just a couple of clicks. 1. Either this or that Sometimes we’re not sure that we’ve correctly remembered the information or the name we need to start our search. But this doesn’t have to be a problem! Simply put in a few potential variations of what you’re looking for, and separate them by typing the “|“ symbol. Instead of this symbol you can also use ”or." Then it’s easy enough to choose the result that makes the most sense. Jennifer aniston or lawrence 2. Searching using synonyms Our language is rich in synonyms. Sometimes this can be very convenient when doing research online. If you need to find websites on a given subject rather than those that include a specific phrase, add the "~" symbol to your search. For example, if you search for the term "healthy ~food" you’ll get results about the principles of healthy eating, cooking recipes, as well as healthy dining options. 3. Searching within websites Sometimes you read an interesting article on a website and find yourself subsequently wanting to share it with your friends or simply reread it. The easiest way to find the desired piece of information again is to search within the website. To do this, type the address of the site, then a key word or entire phrase from the article, and it should come up immediately. 4. The power of the asterisk When our cunning memory decides to prevent us from recalling that one key word, phrase, or number we need in order to find what we’re looking for, you can turn to the powerful "*" symbol. Just use this in the place of the word/phrase you can’t remember, and you should be able to find the results you’re looking for. 5. When lots of words are missing If it’s the lengthier half of the phrase you can’t remember rather than a single key word, try writing out the first and last words and putting “AROUND + (the approximate number of missing words)“ between them. For example, ”I wandered AROUND(4) cloud." 6. Using a time frame Sometimes we urgently need to acquaint ourselves with events that occurred during a certain period of time. To do so, you can add a time frame to your search query with the help of three dots between the dates. For example, if we want to find out about scientific discoveries during the 20th century, we can write: scientific discoveries 1900...2000 7. Searching for a title or URL To help find the key words and name of an article, type “intitle:“ before the search term, without any spaces between them. In order to find the words from a URL, use ”inurl:". intitle:husky 8. Finding similar websites If you’ve found something you really like online and want to find similar websites, type in "related:" and then the address of the site, again without a space between them. 9. Whole phrases Framing the search term within quotation marks is the simplest and most effective way to find something specific and in the exact order you typed it in. For example, if you type in the words I’m picking up good vibrations without quotation marks, the search engine will show the results where these words appear in any order on a website, as opposed to the specific order in which you typed them. If, on the other hand, you type "I’m picking up good vibrations" within quotation marks, you’ll get only those results where these words appear only in the order you typed them in. This is a great way to find the lyrics to a song when you only know one line from it. 10. Unimportant search words To remove unimportant search words from your query, simply write a minus symbol before each one. For example, if you want to find a site about interesting books, but you aren’t looking to buy them, you can write the following: interesting books-buy To share or bookmark go to the original site:https://brightside.me/wonder-curiosities/10-ways-to-search-google-for-information-that-96-of-people-dont-know-about-256760/ |
Nice one OP. In addition to the online tools that can help one in becoming a better blogger: Pixlr.com for logo designs especially if you want to add some common brand logos or edit. A nice product form Autodesk. Logomakr.com is also a good place to download any logo. Unsplash.com a nice site to download high resolution photos without watermark. Also it is important for every blogger to have webdesign skill especially with HTML, WordPress, Joomla. It gives you flexibility of maneuvering your web to your taste. I love following bloggingways.net cos it has helped me greatly. |
Some fairly used deep freezer or fridge that can occupy 40 quantities can do it too at an average price of 30k-50k. Better still, approach any refrigerator repairer in your area, they can get you an affordable one. I beleive you know that this needs to be powered by a constant electricity. |
OP I appreciate your works so far including many several posts you have to your credit. But there is something I notice, you hardly share the points on which topic you raised in the FP. Rather you want people to click on your link first before they are referred to your site, this is a bit wrong. As far as you need traffic to your site, you could do this in a very easy way without using this approach. I love your niche because I work in the Power sector and also plan having a domain in that niche too. If I could suggest, since you have good intention for people, not just because you want to win them for traffic sake. First explain your points, lead them on gently like a mother taming her little toddler. Gradually, precept upon precept, line upon line, no white hat, grey hat or black hat spot. Till they fondly fall in love with your information. That is what brings them to your site without saying "CLICK THIS LINK". I could give you an instance for the first 5 posts you want to release next and you will appreciate this golden rule. Nice work! |
I dough my hat whenever I still go to visit my parents and I could see the old home appliances still working. These old people so much cherish their old fridges, TV sets (black and white), radio, pressing iron ( especially Phillip product), speakers (Kenwood) and may more. Though, I have made an attempt in the past to spoil some of these appliances since we have bought new ones but they keep on telling you the history and genesis of how they struggled to buy them. You can imagine your parents telling you,"I bought that one in the 70's when I was working in Wharf. I bought that one 2 shilling, 3 Naira and so on". The story is good but we need to move on in life and embrace technological advancement but there seems to be something you cannot take away from these old parents which is their past. So which of your parents old home appliances is older than you?

What a great story to learn from. I love the part where the guy had to drop his education certificate and embrace technical education. This is so hard to find among many graduates especially from well-to-do homes. This summarises the whole story: sacrifice+opportunity=breakthrough. #OnMyWay2BetterDays |
From my little stable of experience, getting a job is good and running your own business is pretty nice too. When it comes to dumping one for the other there arises alot of things to consider. Idea as I do reframe it means I dare. One is battled with the enemy of success which is FEAR(false expression appearing real). Since you are yet to get a a paid job, just continue your business and don't worry about getting a white collar job anymore. I was employed and well paid yet I also run a flexible business along side. Until what I earn from my passive income is sufficent to run my bills as a family man then I can bade it goodbye to my 8am-5pm job. It could be frustrating if what you projected to earn from starting the business is not forth coming and you begin to ask if you really planned well. In all have a good plan for your business this should be in addition to what people have shared here with you and also be ready to face the challenges when they come in the business line and don't forget GOD in your doing. I wish you ll the best as you consider this lifetime ticket offered to you. #RiskIsBusiness #BusinessIsARisk |
Resignation and firing is the order of the day in my side here. Though I seemed not to be bothered because I have acquired more knowledge in the building services(Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing), Power and Energy field(Power Plant), and also could make passive income through blogging, SEO, PBN, Affiliate Marketing, Domain and Website Flipping, and other online means. I could blog using my acquired knowledge in Building Services, Power and Energy blend with all I know. 2017 holds the best for me! |
Really helpful tips for bloggers. Though some niches which has to do with gossips or blogger's lifestyles may seem flexible compared to niches where one needs to do enough research before blogging. I love the aspect of outsourcing my blog to an expert to write while I go about my other duties. |
In our society, connection is rated more than the individual passion, that is why it matters alot in this part of our country. I don't doubt if per chance you could get a job without connection but it is narrow. I would rather implore you to look elsewhere or consider other vocational skill you could develop rather than waiting for government job. #IfYouWaitToKnowWhenTheCrabSleepsYouWillStayLongAtTheRiverBank |

Nice eye opener to adding values to people, I appreciate you for this thread OP. More importantly for anyone who loves guest posting, at times the benefits attached to this may not come quickly as expected, infact, several writers are been turned down by highly respected bloggers but this is part of the test you must pass to go higher. Then for those who are asking what this BLOGGING or Guest Posting is about. Every time you make a comment on any forum, like Nairaland, you are partially engaging in the act. Not everybody will be a blogger, but there is something you know that others want to know too. Sharing this on platforms will increase your morale and build you for a start incase you later want to consider it. Lastly, I use to encourage everyone I meet who is also a blogger to think of others first before you. The following are the principles I preach to bloggers: 1)Like people's posts or videos if you gain something from it. Don't forget to reference or give credit to any article you copied tomyour post, this makes you a professional and shows you make research too. 2)Follow people on social media like twitter, facebook, google plus, etc and they might reciprocate same. And also ensure you follow back should anyone follow you. 3)Knowledge is meant to be shared and not housed. You think you know it all, you will be surprised someone is thinking ahead of you. So share what you know. 4)Do not try and stop because it doesn't work unless it is not applicable, so far it is good and worth trying, go on even when you don't know where the road ends. 5)Every visitor or friend you are luckily to meet is your potential customer and would one day fetch you the dough or pleasure you want in blogging, this I term the MULTIPLYING FACTOR OF DIGIPRENEUR. "I share what I know and have except my ATM Pin and Passwords"-Adding to what Dan Hover@AuthorityWebsiteIncome usually says. |
Hi OP, should you still have a slot for me. I need one for a blog about cash and earning. The motto is: daily cash life philosophy you must know. A white back group will be ok. Thanks for your kind works. |
A nice way if you really found out a means to dupe Google. It is a game; you enjoy while it lasts but as soon as you are caught, you get burnt. Ask from webmaster ancestors before you. But if you really mean LEGIT, you can go on playing! #WhiteHat #GreyHat #BlackHat #GoogleSeesItAll |
Guess your site is matured enough for google adsense approval. I understand that the joy of many bloggers and site owners is to monetize them but more importantly is your contents. All the while you are waiting for approval, go online and search for ways to increase you PR, Trust and other means by which your site will not leave a foot print to google. Invariably, you can build it up using PBNs or linking to trusted sites. I think if no skeleton in your cupboard, you will land yourself a fortune not long from now. Make your due contribution to knowledge before you start reaping. #GreyHat #WhiteHat #BlackHat #GoogleCanSeeAll |
Anyone afraid of risk? Then such is not fit to live. Robert T. Kiyosaki explained about the 21st century conspiracy and that is what we get from government. Once you don't play the game they want, they tag you and call you all sorts of names. I am a risk taker, so MMM is not my first, I had done many and will still do more. MMM is a good traffic marketing site and is anyone feels so afraid to log on his money needs not crucify others who wants to. I work in a reputable organisation who could not pay his workers' salaries for up to 7 months now due to the situation in the country. But as soon as we heard of MMM 98% of my co-workers quickly got connected. It didn't make many of them to bother about their unpaid salaries. The GOOD NEWS is that, the company paid all owed salary last month. As you would expect, many of us logged our millions earned 7 months salaries in just a month. Go do your calculation if you can get the 30% saving it in banks. #NoStory #RiskIsReal #ToGainYouMustLoss #ToughTimeNeverLasts #ToughPeopleDo |
Common, did you just say internet marketing? And I figure out that you really want to make money form this and you are asking about Penguine 4.0 update. Hence you have data on your phone and google or other search engines available too. Common, internet marketing or business is meant for anyone who is ready to go the extra-mile to get info of what he loves or want to make a living from. Read up first then you can find someone to put you through the little one you don't know or get help from google support that is their role. Hope I'm not too harsh? The world is neither fair on people too. |
Story like this is so uplifting. Perhaps I do ask if there are favorable conditions in the so-called "turned to a billionaire" kind of story which have been same repetition of their kinds for like 3 decades now mostly outsde the continent of Africa. I learnt about many people like these that once failed but braced up and later become somebody in life (read the book HOW THEY STARTED). One thing I discovered that is common about such people is the ACTION they take after once FAILING. That is where the KEY is. From this case study, it was reported that he first went to take up teaching job(the available) and then later found OPPORTUNITY in online business(the desirable); refusing to Pass Over Opportunity Repeatedly(POOR). |
I believe whatever a well-known organisation like GOOGLE will do is based on legal standards. The idea of google adsense, adwords, backlinks, affiliate marketing, SEOs etc. were never our innovations. But what we fail to do most time is we never want to learn the "terms" "agreements" "Policy" of use. We only want to make money(I love that too). But recently, I have been doing much of reading internet legal policy especially with ICANN and others. If one knows he's not at fault, there are case you can file for and win. Speaking with a legal instructor(I mean internet attorneys) will not be a bad idea. Check them up on Fiverr, Upwork, Freelance etc. They may have one or two helps they can offer you if you feel you were cheated by GOOGLE. I may not be correct, but I think it's not a bad step. Some will not charge you until they see the feasibility you tender. #ProtectYourInternetRight #UseLegalInstructors |
Nylon business is a profitable business for any serious minded person. During my NYSC daysin Delta State, I took time to learn form people who cut the roll into small pieces using either manual or automatic machine. Though I am yet to start cos over 4 years now I have been gainfully employed but since your post reminds me of it, I will give it a try. I already have the technical-no- how skill. Lovely post! |
Nice op. Let me also add that one can also make money through writing for online publishing. Some of these organisations pay per 500-1500 words for $50-$800 dollars depending on which organisation you wish to write for. The first thing you must posses is good writing skill and ability to convince readers. Friend, no need of asking anyone about this, just check the word up on google and you are on your way to making it. I wish you good luck! |
