In this photo, either a highly placed PHCN person is (1) renting the public vehicle out to bakeries or (2) himself/herself has a bakery and using public vehicle to distribute his private bread. If the first scenario is the case, the PHCN person, those working under him who should know and choose instead to keep quiet, and the baker are corrupt. If the later is the case, of course the PHCN person and those under him who must know what's going on are corrupt.

HRH began his career as an Economist under the Young Professionals Programme of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as the first young economist recruited, world-wide, (straight from Cambridge University) under the programme at the IMF. During his 27 year career at the IMF, HRH rose to Senior Economist, Division Chief, Advisor and Assistant Director, before leaving for the African Development Bank. HRH led to numerous IMF Country Economic and Programme Missions to various countries, advising and negotiating policy measures with Heads of State and Government, Finance Ministers, Central Bank Governors as well as interacting with donor governments and agencies all over the world.

At the African Development Bank (AFDB), HRH was Sole Vice President (Operations) directing, managing and supervising the AFDB’s multi-billion dollar programs and projects, as well as the preparation of operations policies and guidelines. HRH spearheaded the establishment of the AFDB’s Central Operations Department; the upgrading of the Private Sector Unit to a full department; and led the efforts which resulted in the establishment of the AFDB’s Microfinance Initiative for Africa (AMINA). HRH was the Chairman of the Executive Committee (EXCOM) of Phase 2, Project Africa and guided the work of numerous task forces on key areas that contributed to the revamping of the Bank Group’s Policies Procedures and Guidelines. HRH broke and/or set new records on both the volume and quality of the AFDB’s lending program. HRH was senior management participant in several African Development Fund (AFD) Replenishment negotiations and ADF med-term reviews including at the Hague, Ottawa, Copenhagen, Bonn, Valencia, Maputo and other places, Chairing and guiding the Bank’s working groups on the preparation of Key replenishment and policy papers.

HRH was the first Vice President from a developing country at IFAD, where he supervised and Chaired several corporate initiatives including, IFAD’s participation in the OECD-MDB Harmonization Initiative; the Steering Committee for IFAD’s Strategic Change Programme; and the Oversight Committee, charged with the investigation of allegations of irregularity of IFAD officials and/or within IFAD financial projects. At various points, HRH simultaneously combined his Vice Presidency with temporary leadership of both Finance and Administration as well as the External Affairs Department at IFAD.

Among several positions held by HRH at various times include: Member Eminent Persons Advisory Group Roundtable at the Rockefeller Foundation, New York; Member, Unilever Africa Advisory Council, London; Alternate- member UN Steering Committee on both the Mid-term and Final Review of UNPAARED; member UN-IATF for the UN Agenda for the Development of Africa (UN-NADAF); member UN-IATF for the UN PAARED.

HRH has published numerous articles on economy, finance and international economics and has received several awards from governments all over the world including from Guaternala (Latin America), Qatar (Middle East), Rwanda (Africa), Valencia-Spain (Europe). HRH’s other (community and social) awards/titles include: Distinguished Traditional Ruler Award; Most Outstanding Traditional Ruler Award; Distinguished Personality Award.

The Traditional ruler of Umuoji, Igwe Dr. Cyril Enweze has described Anambra as one of the leading states in the country.
The Royal Father, who spoke to the press at his Umuoji Palace, attributed the feat to the administrative ingenuity of the state governor.
In the area of security, he said Anambra state is unarguably the most secured state in Nigeria, followed by issues of governance in which he said it has equally assumed the leading position, earning the Governor coveted 2015 Sun Newspaper Best Governor Award to be celebrated in Lagos on the 20th of this month.
Igwe Enweze said through the instrumentality of the Anambra State Investments Promotion and Promotion Agency, (ANSIPPA), the State has attracted massive investments topping three billion US dollars in less than two years, adding that the state has also done marvelously well in Nigeria and Abroad.

@topic, Nigeria needs regionalism- 6 regions- and resource control. Then each zone contributes a fair portion of their resource profit to the center. One President and 5 VPs on rotational basis. Just one parliament, rather than 2. No fed ministers. Perm Secs will man ministries in a thoroughly pruned down fed govt.

Instead of people like this, Dullard Buhari gave the minister of Agriculture position to a failed politician/non scientist like the current minister, Audu Ogbe.

Abia people should have kept this a secret because I am sure it is happening without the knowledge of Buhari (the mumurized president ). Now that it is public knowledge, Buhari is going to cancel the idea and sack the CBN person responsible for the idea. When will Igbos learn?

Mr. Obinna Oriaku, Hon. Commissioner for Finance, Abia State, during a tripartite agreement cum signing of MoU between Abia State Government, CBN and International Centre For Development Affairs, for establishment of CBN entrepreneurship development Centre in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.

The Centre will be located in Umuahia the Abia State capital for the entire South-East geopolitical zone.

Each state in the South-East, comprising of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States are expected to send in 200 interns for a session that will last for three months.

After their training, a certificate will be issued to the interns, also, funds will be provided for them by the agency through Small And Medium Scale Enterprise, as take off.

Interns will be accommodated throughout their period of the training. And the CBN will fund the programme for three years.

The programm has provision for secondary school leavers, OND holders, and graduates.

The programmers is free, but interns are expected to pay registration fee of N5,000 only.

The CBN governor will flag off the programme by the end of the month.

Will not be different; for example, Kano will still be allocated the largest population, even over Lagos. Nigeria is already programmed to do things in certain ways. For me, what is going to be a big deal is for ethnicity to be added to the census. So we know exactly how many Igbos live in states outside Igboland. Ethnicity is counted in censuses in US and UK. So why not Nigeria?

It officially has almost as much people as Imo and Abia combined, when there is basically nothing below Port Harcourt, and the entire place is littered with creeks.

While Ogun, Oyo and Lagos were grossly undercounted. Everyone was in shock when they came back and lied to all our sensibilities by telling us Lagos had just 9 million people, and Oyo had just 5.5, when Ibadan alone is approaching 4.

The census was undercounted in SE and SW.
